Film Description
A tale from the last man on Earth...

This is a beanie movie so its gonna have a decent amount of blood, gore, violence, and language.

Also, if you get motion sickness I dont recommend watching the movie in one sitting, because most of the movie uses the shakey cam. (which to answer future questions is augie64's filter mod)

Theres some minor flaws i noticed like a few lip-synching issues and the dude screaming, the scream probably sounds wierd, but i had to loop it in order to get it to cover the full scene. Sorry in advance and I hope these issues dont make you think of me as a lesser person.

Schlock B-movie horror at its finest!

I'll even let the shakeycam slide this time - sure, it was rubbish every time the camera stood still, but worked well when the action got going + the movie was peppered with enough static backdrop and overlay shots to make it not as grating as it could have been.

Nice VO - the depressed, droll delivery of the narrator worked well at creating the hopeless atmosphere. And the ending was excellent - rather like "Children of Men", we never got to know any reason for why things happened the way they did, and .. in a masterpiece of getting-away-with-script-murder .. even why people buying dog collars would lead directly to what happens to the victims. It's like we don't need to know - that's the way it happened and we have to deal with it, which puts us firmly in the mindset of the hero. In other words, there could be any number of reasons - but it doesn't really matter!

Good attack scenes with terrific editing, very good voicework (although the over-repeated scream sample was a bit much) an excellent score throughout and plenty of calamitous canines!

A terrific creature feature which sort of doubles as a morality tale against drug use (I'll not spoil it though, it's very obvious when you watch the film) - or I could just be reading too much into what is sheer entertainment.

You'd be barking mad to miss this!

Love the fact that there´s no happy end! And there´s some truth behind all that, so many people have dogs nowadays... but I hate them... maybe someday they really get smarter than us or just a diseases, but I don´t know, seems far out, but huh I don´t know. =)
Good Job!

Andrew Hawat is widely known as one of the premier directors on TMO. I guess I underestimated him a little bit going into this one. I wasn't sure how well he, as a director, could work with you. But by God he did it, and so did you! This just goes to show that minority directors are on the rise in Hollywood. The sky's the limit with this mother [shhhh!]er. I hope to see more collaborations with Mr. Hawat and your studio in the future. I can only hope to one day work with a man such as himself...I'd do anything for that...I probably wouldn't suck a [play nice now!], but you get the picture. This was a very tsunamidogish horror film. And I liked it! Have the Kareem Ettouney's of our society underestimated the dogs?...well, I'll just leave you to figure that one out.

Very interesting movie.
I liked the editing. The sets were used accurately (they don??t bore and the editing has much to do with it) I also liked how the props where placed in the street scene.
The shaky camera is a terrific resource but, in my opinion, was a little bit over-used in this movie. There's some scenes that simply don't need it (i.e.: during the initial telephone conversation) but, on the other hand, it's greatly used when the actor is running, when he hides from the dogs or when the camera ??spies?? the actor in the bedroom ?? as it creates the tension those scenes needs.
The voices were OK. The only thing I would improve is the main character voice, which is kind of monotonous. I consider it should be more emotional.
Overall, it??s one of the few movies from this site I consider worth watching. It??s not boring; it??s entertaining and no wonders why people like it. Keep it up!

My kind of film...animal carnage, loved it! For a while I thought dog collar was slang for some new form of drug habit... Great camera work for the dog chase and I've never seen so many dogs on the screen at once. :O

I was seriously considering, but over much thought, I decided to give you a five star rating over four.

The storyline for this film, don't get me wrong, was Brilliant, Masterful, and in a way, Mysterious. The whole line and arrays of scenes in which you have chosen carefully in order to distinguish shots and ultimately tell the story really was done beautifully.

I must say though, I am not really fond, and quite disappointed over your choice of name over this film, and I found at some points during the film, I felt that the character's really lacked emotion, considering what they were currently going through.

I am just amazed that you managed to fit all of that story telling and information in a small block period of just over nine minutes, well done tsunamidog!

awesome movie! i think you used the shakey cam a little too much, but the shots were mostly great. the only thing that bugged me was the similarity to I am legend (i havent actually seen it, just heard a few things and it reminded me of it, so maybe it isnt that close iduno)

Wow, Tsunamidog. I'm speechless. That was I think one of your best pieces, jeez. I liked a lot of things about this film like the sets, mods, genre pick, voice over acting and background as there was only I think one thing which I didn't really like was the graphics and the camera useage. But the graphics might have been from my computer. I don't know. But overall this was a great unique film and it was a great pleasure of watching it!

I'm starting the jakechief Awards and you are nominated 8 times!!!!!!!!

Congrats.... Check in on my homepage on August 1st to see if your movie won!

Very great. Loved the shots of the thousands of dogs, and the shaky cam as well. This is the first movie that I've watched on the site for a long time, and it amazes meat how the quality of the movies on here has risen so much, (especially the set dressing). Makes me want to step up my game and make my upcoming films better.

Wow, that was awesome for a end of the world type scenario. Usually I treat horrors as comedies; because of my twisted sense of black comedy and morbid humor. Still this was awesome in the end. The movie just worked for me in a twisted sort of way. :) I hope that's how it was intended. Anyway, the VA's and story were awesome. Prop use of dogs and music, as well as costuming and make-up (skin make-up) were perfect. All the other goodies went well together as well, especially the camera work and lighting. Nice job overall.

I loved Matt's apathy for the whole situation. Great b-movie character. Also a big fan of the camera work of Matt running with the cars in the foreground (very cool and frantic) and the edits of Matt in the bedroom with the bed. This is up there with Crazy Insane Phycotic and your xmas tale as far as setting up a bizzare situation and following it through to its messed up ending. Some of your finest work.

There are times when one watches a movie and when it is over one can't help but shout out at the top of his lungs, "That was so freaking awesome!"
This is one of those times.

What we have here is a cleaver mix of comedy and creepyness. The idea is so far fetched and unexplained that you can help but laugh or be creeped out at the same time. The characters were great and the way that they seemed to remain calm during some of the situations was funny. (Ex. driving down the street and passing a bunch of dead bodies and not pointing them out. lol)

Your use of camera angles and over all editing was amazing. One of the major draw backs of The Movies are the limits that a director must face when shooting different scenes but you overcame most of those with the highest proficiency. I was very impressed with the scenes in the city street. It's a small set but you made it seem much larger that it really is with all the running scenes. The scene with Matt running into a house and then exiting via the alleyway was a good touch. And I could help but love the scene in the hallway where the man gets zombiefied with is a technic I'm gona have to try in my future movie. The music, by the way, was amazing and fit well with the entire movie.

Overall, this is with out a doubt one of the better movies on the TMO and should be the bedrock in which all other horror/comedies should base their films upon. I give this film a 5 out of 5. Great job!

Only one way to describe this, Beanie... FRESH.
Camera work was wild (don't know how you did the shaky-cam bit), musical fx were perfect... and the story... totally FRESH!!

Wow Beanie!
Once again I'll have to comment on your camera work - the urgency you conveyed in the running-flight-car scenes, in combination with the music, was just awesome! Great angles and cuts!

Everything worked together to make this a cool horror movie - from the initial idea to backdrops, overlays, setdressing, the moving cam, the vo's - the fact that the uncle...aah, don't wanna spoil it.

Very, very disturbing, I love it!

That was some freeeaky storytelling. This is like one of the coolest horrors I've ever seen. Nice job. Cool music, nice use of the camera shake, and overall everything! Lol, this movie made me laugh a bit too, seeing hundreds of cute little doggy killers.

Sweeeeeet Movie.

Oh my god!! T-dog, you just freaked the hell outa me!
Plot - Insane, deep, original, and damn well written. I loved that although it was simple, we felt tied to the character - watching the world through his eyes.
Music - Some of the best music I've heard in a TMO movie! It fit perfectly and really hits home those startling moments and freakouts!
Direction & Editing - This was so well done. I loved your use of freecam here, some excelent views which, combined with custom bacdrops and mods, really expanded the world and brought out the scale of the situation.

Overall this is one of the best modern style horrors on TMO so far, I absolutely loved it - it sent shudders through me and had me jumping!

Great work!

----FallenThomas Review----
Story - 10/10
Characters - 9/10
Plot - 10/10
Dialogue - 8/10
Sets - 9/10
Set Dressing - 10/10
Camerawork - 10/10

The most original movie ever seen on TMO. Tsunamidog, you have one of the sickest minds ever. A zombie type film maybe? All because people love dog collars? Woah dude. Thats some imagination you've got there! Well, the story was completely original as well as the plot (I can't tell the difference so they're pretty much the same thing to me). The dialogue was good, but it was a little simple at points. The set dressing as well as set choice was brilliant. The cars and blood was all set out nicely. The camerawork was superb. I love the drive by shots of the dead bodies. And the movie overall was awesome! Hope to see more from you soon! 5 STARS!

first off, wtf were you smoking when you came up with this? and can you send some over to money shot studios, pronto?
better than the typical zombie movie. creepy, disturbing, dark, dark, dark, but filled with an underlying humor that had me checking to see whether this was a comedy or not.
i'm glad i don't have anything on the horror chart right now, cause this one is going to slay anything in its path on the way to the top of that.
"dog collars, i'm telling you dude, there's something about those dog collars." you're killing me...

What marvel of complete originality did I just experience?

I'm seriously having a hard time typing, due to motion sickness...or its the overwhelming need to buy a dog collar? Whatever.

What can I say man, I'm truly floored by this kick ass film.

I want to point out the cool transition when Matt's opening monologue cuts to unveiling hes telling the tale to his friend. Very slick.

The music and sound effects added so much ambiance and emotion to the film and were very noticeable.

The editing during the monologue was also very noticeable. Quick paced to keep the interest.

I'm nauseous, but impressed.

Did you film this on a frickin boat?

I want a dog collar now.

I give you big props for originality. Nothing else is like this. The backdrop for inside the store was used well. The editing was great! Loved that!

Now that the technical BS is out of the way, the movie itself was great. I loved how you came at it from a place only beanie seems to go to. Once again, you show what a great talent you are. The ending was perfect too.

That's how you make a kick-a$$ horror movie right there! Great VO's (I love GP's line especially) and some awesome transformation sequences. Freecam was very good except for a shot or two when it would show outside the set. Music was very cool and definitely fit the movie and excellent set dressing. Ending had me thinking that you've been hanging around M. Night Shaymalan too much, as it was a bit farfetch'd (Hehe, fetch) but all in all that was a pretty wicked awesome, effed up movie worthy of 5 Bean Cups out of 5. Very nice.

Execution: 5/5- awesome directing!
Dialog: 5/5- the text is excellent!
Sound: 4/5- Very good except for two parts: when the guy at the corridor was screaming and when, in the end, he returned to his room (the "music" you used there was awful and unbearable).
Genre fit: 5/5- at first I thought you were mistaken and marked it as a horror movie instead of a comedy, but when the movie progressed it transferred to a great horror film.
Fun: 5/5- look at the reasons stated above.
Overall: 4.8. Clearly a movie to bookmark!
