Excellent first film, beautifully narrated By Blaze Lee Dragon. It had a nice flow, witty and unassuming. I'm suprised at how many people missed the infference of the word "tail" heh heh.
Great job and keep them coming!

Lol - so there WEREN'T any spelling mistakes in this film!

It seemed quite a good piece of work, the country music and visuals worked well - but the delivery of the narration was very monotone through the whole thing and very quiet, almost as if the actor didn't want to wake the baby sleeping next to the mic!

Good first movie. Nice VO's and one hilarious ending. Keep filming, friend!

A clever little comedy there. A little hard to hear but some giggles along the way.
Nicely made and some good backing music.

Howie.

I would have originally gave you a 4 but since this is your first(Great Job anyways), and I hated when i was new to TMO people would rate my movies 1 outta 5 without even watching my movies, just because I was a n00b.

Great for a first! I bookmarked it!

Please watch my movie ESPIONAGE: THE SONS OF PATRIOTS

Ha ha - nice. A lot of TMO directors either have an eye for visuals OR a talent for writing, but clearly you have both. This short movie looked and sounded great with a very unexpected comical twist at the end. Nicely done Elbowlow

cheers

~~New England Reviews~~

elbowlow, that was a decent thong entry to the Roger Thong 2008 contest. But there was some stuff which bothered me a little bit which I just had to take off just one star.

The thing which bothered me the most was the narrator played by Blazeleedragon. He is talented, don't get me wrong; but he was mumbling a little bit through the tail of Cassidy. Plus, even though I'm not Roger or Ken who were the judges but I felt that in order for this film to be entered into the Roger Thong 2008 Contest, it needed to show more about thongs. I also couldn't really tell what the story was besides the narrator talking about 'Tail of Cassidy.'

Something which I don't really think you meant to do which I want to point out because it was funny to me was that the narrator looked like Monk even when the Monk wasn't in this movie. That made me chuckle.

Well elbowlow, overall this was a decent attempt as well as a decent entry into the Roger Thong 2008 Contest. You finally made a movie. I never knew that you were going to make a movie since you were always in the forums. Glad that your first movie is a Roger Thong entry! :) So, you should feel proud as I hope you make more movies in the future and hope to see you in the Roger Thong 2009 Contest for next year.

Overall: 86.2%

If this wasn't getting as many great reviews as it is I would give you 5 stars.
So, is this supposed to be a) really funny comedy movie or b) A movie with no genre whatsoever so you made it a comedy. I didn't laugh I only smiled a bit at the thong part. If you haven't already you should try to put this movie in The Roger Thong Competition it's only a suggestion though. I got a bit bored during the very end because I'm not a poem person. And the camera work was a tiny bit dull. And also "The Tale Of Cassidy" should be the name not "The Tail of Cassidy" A tail is like the tail of a horse another tale means a story which I think you wanted, but oh well.
Very good first movie!

Your first release?! WOW! I wish my first release was this good! (My first release was actually quite embarrassing... hehehe.) The VO's were a bit quiet in this film, and the music seemed a bit overpowering at times, but it was nothing major. The credits were very well done, and you seem to have a decent handle on the freecam, so congrats on that. Blazelee's voice was a perfect fit for the role, and the little rhymes worked effectively for this short little film. I also enjoyed your use of mods. Any movie with a Roger Thong is definitely worth watching! :)

I thought BlazeLee's voice over was done pretty well. However sometimes his voice was to low, and I couldn't really hear or understand what he was saying. The rhyming throughout the whole movie was enjoyable. I will give four stars.

Wow, if this is your first release, then you're off to a great start. Some excellent free-cam work, as well as an entertaining story, and great narrative to move it along.

Glad that you dug 'Imprisoned' stay tuned for part 3. It gets pretty twisted.

Peace.

Some great exit credit overlays and some very good camera work (the spin to the bottle on the bar being my fave..but hiding the thong and hat combo was nice work as well). The dialogue was odd. A lot of words to get where your going which really wasnt that far from where you entered. Reminds me of those many great jokes that go on and on and on and on and...and the punchline isnt going to be that great but they still register a smile simply because you stuck around for the ride. Cute...

I woulda put the music a bit further down in the mix as it stood out a bit too much and interfered with the dialogue at one point. A very good freshman exhibit. Extra points for the title which was most definitely not misspelled.

A very nice effort for your first movie! I can definitely tell you have learned a lot of the techniques. Nice freecam and a good chuckler. Great overlays too; but of course, I would know, wouldn't I? :P

Ahhh, the old west, where a man's reputation was all he had, and just one little incident could sully that reputation. Filled with useful information about loose women and horseback riding, this film provides a valuable service to all cowpokes about that thing your mom told you, the one thing you wanted to make sure about before you went out, because of what might happen.

I also enjoyed the ending, really amazingly done!
Overall, I find this movie clever, excellent touch of comedy and entertaining, I would be really intruging to know what you'd come up with next!

Very good western. Reminds me of the old western movies with the old, wise man from the small town that knows all the stories of that town. I would like to say that this is very well done in the genre choice! No wonder it is so highly ranked right now.

If you feel like it, or get around to it, watch my movie-'World of Warcraft Experience'- because I need to advertise it to people around here! =)

Nice little puns and some great, commendable camera-work... The editing was great, but the backdrop near the end with the sunset on the Blue screen seemed a bit out of place and looked a little odd...

I must say, that I wasn't a big fan of the voice Blaze used... he's a great voice actor, but I didn't particularly like the croaking voice, as it was kind of distracting and I found it hard to concentrate on what he was saying at times.

5-stars for a clever film, and an overall solid entry =)

Good luck in the comp =)

5 stars well deserved. Blaze did an amazing job telling the story. The camera work was well done, and the ending was very funny and unexpected. The music also fit quite nicely with the film. Also, I loved the closing credits. They looked very awesome. Like I said, 5 stars well deserved. Good luck in the competition.
