Film Description
Sisch sings... I sort of groan :)
Just a bit of fun, hope you enjoy!

Music arranged by me using Garageband.
Many thanks to Sisch for... well, everything really.

That was great. The singing was spot on, the camera work and choice of scenes was brilliant. Love the idea too. Really, just great.

Sisch and Norrie make a great pair in this brilliant, well made music video!

Well Done Norrie

Shades of BB King. I absolutely loved it. I thought for sure it was a cover of an old blues standard but I googled the lyrics and came up empty. The fact that it plays like an authentic blues era song is quite an accomplishment. The lyrics are clever and Sisch and Norrie do a great job delivering them. The guitar licks were flat out amazing.

Nice one Norrald. Good song, nice arrangement. The way you used the Garageband instruments is amazing, and the vocal performances are pretty darn good. From a technical point of view the only flaw I could find was the audio wave form cutty pop noise thing at the very start. Liked a lot though. Here is a shiny object for you.

That was definitely a lot of fun! Some extremely good performances from the both of you. And the visuals were a nice addition that didn't detract from the music. In fact, they suited it quite well.

Terrific stuff. Well done!

An undeniably amusing song with some great singing performances from both yourself and Sisch. Fine music as well, with good pacing on both fronts to fit in and make it feel like any normal song one would hear on the radio. Still, I think some of the lyrics could have been written better - on more than one occassion, it seemed that the singers had to "Rush" their lines to fit in with the beat...Simply cutting excess words away will work wonders to minimize this (Though I do realize that the "Rushed wording" style is indeed a trademark of The Blues...Still, it didn't quite sound right on the ears, and should have been maintained better). Given that the fine folks of both Scotland and Germany are plagued here in America with a rather offensive sterotype for being unable to sing well (I've no idea where that sterotype orginated, and have never agreed with it) this is a fine way to proove any believers of such a foolish train of thought wrong. Fine work on all fronts which you should be proud of.

I also per-chance noticed the effects in this movie. I recall reading somewhere you saying you owned the mac version - you either have a very good computer, or the mac version must have been revamped with superior effects. Either way, this added quite a bit of enjoyment to the visual side of the film, along with the already video-like filming.

The stream of five stars are no lie, folks...This is one music video you don't want to miss!

Boy! Now that is what the Blues are all about! Brilliant. This film shows that the Blues are universal and if you have talent like Sisch and Norie you can do most anything. Loved it! Sisch is stunning in her vocal stylings and Norie, you can sing brother!

What can I say? Catchy and well sung all around. Sisch, you are an amazing singer, and you are as well, Norrie, so don't go beating yourself up too much. ;) Nice music soundtrack as well, along with some nice camera angles!

sisch+ norriefpb + a song = one catchy musical delight.

Three thumbs up!!!

Great tune, Sisch was marvelous as always (acting, singing, there nothing she can't do?), and Norrie....well, honestly I was expecting a Shane MacGowan-ish bellow, but this wasn't bad at time don't bury yourself in the mix!

Congrats, guys - you knocked this one out of the park (or kicked it through the goalposts, or whatever you Europeans do...)

norrie your grunting was awesome! Sischs non-grunting was awesome too! They both worked so well together considering one was grunting and one was not.
It was a groovy lil toon that i dug. Nice bluesy feel.
Overall a super sweet song. You both sung great (despite what norrie may say about himself)

Absolutely brilliant. :D

From the moment you sent the song to me, I knew this was gonna be gold. Sisch is such a great singer, pitch perfect and I love how she puts vibrato on her voice when holding notes and Norrie! Your so called 'groanings' weren't bad at all, so stop putting yourself down. :p

Good stuff.

Very nice. The singing and the music was great. I also liked the filming, although some camera movements don't really fit into a 'Music Video' and were actually disturbing. Definitley a great job!

Norrie your groaning made me groan... with delight!! Sisch your
voice sounded amazing in this, your pitch was excellent. I had heard the music before hand but I never imagined what a nifty spin you two would put on a standard blues. It was a blues song, a story, a film all waraped into one.
As far as visuals, they fit well and matched well and added a lot.

The ArseTonEs are proud!

An amazing achievement that had me taping my feet, bobbing my head and eyes closed reminiscing of lost loves I hated to love and loved to hate.

Sisch, once again, has blown me a away with here seemingly endless talent for entertaining. A brilliant performance of smooth and sassy.

Norrie, as always, knows how to deliver the musical goods. Superb opening, brilliant closing, perfectly timed riffs, just the right tempo and lyrics that are honest and hold true meaning. These elements are not an easy task to get right, but Norrie pulls it all together flawlessly. Truly a magnificent piece.

Excellent work.

Hui I was really surprised by norrie, everyone knew Sisch could sing before this, but norrie, I think this is the debut of a grand new blues singer. I didn't recognize the scottish bum voice at all.;)
Very well done! And very catchy. =)

Exactly as stated, this was a lot of fun to watch as Im sure it fun to make. The free cam pans were nice and languid almost seeming to accompany the music (never in a hurry and usually ending up focused on a bed or a bottle). Song lyrics had some excellent moments and the performances were both commendable and amusing. For a pretty vague reference, I will say Norrie is the living incarnate of the lead singer for the F**kEmos.

I have heard you sing before...but not well! This was great. Sisch...fanf*ckingtastic! I loved the lyrics...if I was going to sing about a dead beat loser...I would go with the same lines. Great free cam & Editing.

Well done!

A Scottish / German musical collaboration on TMO was ALWAYS gonna produce some interesting results. A combination of Sisch's fantastic voice, Norries inspired composition (and he sings too ya know) makes for some musical GOLD. Don't Come Knocking at my Door is a smooth and hate filled blues number that oozes bitterness and acceptance all at the same time. Really catchy, darkly comical (at times) , brilliantly created and performed - loved it. Gonna record it with Audacity so i can put the track on my i-pod

Don't Come Knocking at my Door is a mellow and catchy anthem from TMO's finest duet collaborations!!

After the goldenage theme that was 'Groovy Night' we delve deeper into a more bitter yet humorous one that is "D.C.K.A.M.D" with it's catchy beat, lyrics and it's soulful melody.

I found myself tapping my feet as I would if I were in a Jazz Cafe and relating to the words and meanings!

Once again, a sparkling performance by Sisch and well, Norrie... let's just say I didn't know you had it in you :-)

In all seriousness, another excellent collaboration by TMO's finest collaboratee's with a top class performance and delivery!!!

Until the next time...
