As others said it before me, this is the best episode so far! Animations keep getting better and the story has more action and suspense (well I like that^^) Anyway, great job! Can't wait for the next episode!

Each episode has been a continual improvement over the last. May I suggest faster vocal deliveries with emotional Umph! to make them come alive. The clarity is fine. While I am on sound, the sound effects need to be balanced as I found myself adjusting my volume a few times. I've no problem withthe overlays and appreciate the extra effort put into them. Camera suggestion.... don't spend much time on needlessly panning. Focus mainly on the characters and remember each shot should generally last only 3 to 4 seconds at most 99% of the time. This episode is certainly a work you can be proud of because it shows a definite desire to improve upon your series. I can respect that! ===K4===

This is your best production yet.

The Bad: you animated overlays looked fuzzy when action was involved, maybe higher export would work. And your editing needs to be trimmed to cut out the head scratch and shoulder slump and hand waving every 5 minutes. And i don't know what happened with the VOs; active's and mine seemed all echoed.

The Good; the script for what i did seemed smoother, but other parts it didn't seem to work for me. But its good to see you try new ideas and techniques.

Good work.

If the rating system had ratings from 1 to 10 I'd give it 11 cause this episode is a blast, literally from the explosions I've seen. 1 thing tho, about "The Blood of Revenge", there is no vo's in the movie, sry bout botherin ya about help me with 'em, but I'm almost finished with the movie. I finally got the game fixed & now I can start working on new movies again. But I do wanna ask you this, how do u make ur own overlays? you could private message me in Lionhead Forums.
FILM ON!!!!

I personally felt that the plot for this story was good, I liked it. There was an interesting choice of music and I liked the animated overlays very well done on that.
I however found this movie to be quite slow with a lot of long scenes devoted to slow pans or long pauses between dialogue. This did speed up towards the second half of the movie when action was involved but I suggest that you tighten up the editing to allow the story to flow better.
My only other criticism would be the VO's don't get me wrong there is great selection of talent there. I however felt some to be quite bland and some had echoe effects added in which sounded wrong.

Nonetheless a good movie with some notes on improvement.

Lovely sets - I particularly liked the spaceship interiors and the Gort's home planet. The story was a bit fuzzy, but it ended up in the right place - I thought the Gort ships were far too easy to defeat though, it was hardly a fair fight!

VO is where this film suffered the most - some characters seemed to have recorded their lines in the bathroom which lent an inconsistency to the environment they were supposed to be in compared to other characters. It's up to the director to add effects to the actors' lines according to the environment they're supposed to be in (and it's up to the actors to supply completely dry lines that can easily be manipulated by the director). If, as seems to be the case, the director accidentally screwed up some actors lines irrepairably - then the best thing is to come clean and ask for them to do it again. They won't like it - but these things happen even in real-life cinema.
For instance, the last incredibly emotional scene in Lord of the Rings was done perfectly by all the actors - but some idiot had forgotten to focus the camera properly. They did it again brilliantly like pros - but Sean Astin had forgotten a part of his costume and screwed up the continuity - the looks he must have got!! So they did it again and nailed it .. completely emotionally draining it must have been.

Back to this film:
We got big gaps in between each line - a common mistake - it makes the conversations seem flat and unnatural. Sometimes the actors don't help by supplying lines that are too slowly delivered, in which case the director should send them back and tell them to do it quicker. I think pacing of scenes (which comes naturally from pacing of dialogue) is often overlooked, even in some of the best TMO films.

That aside, good music and situations - and again, the mods for the sets were great.

The story was good but a little hard to understand. Some of the effects where amazing while some where not so amazing. The Voice Acting was pretty good, some where hard to hear and it seemed that allmost all of the human characters looked the same. But Good Work!

A solid and worthwhile episode which builds upon the previous installments successfully!

I thought the story progression was unique and with a diverse writing staff on board you managed to experiment well on a collaborative level.

I think editting is the biggest area you could look into for the next installment as there often were scenes that tended to overshoot and cause for some unecessary animations etc.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this and as always, look forward to your next installment, until then...

This is the first movie I have seen from this studio and I was completely impressed with it. The skyline scenes, the special effects, the backdrops (ship's bridge, housing, etc...) all were just excellent. The story was very well written and brought together. I understand this to be a series, so I will definitely be looking for the others previous and to come.

Wow, a nice and welcome edition to this epic franchise! The story was well done(although I was a co-writer) and the music, although a little too absent at times really saved this from being stagnant-feeling. I'm looking forward to your next episode. And I just wonder what the season finale will be like.

I think this is the best ever Galaxy at War movie ever.

I actually do agree with ubernewbie, my VO's did go all echoey, weird.

I liked the music, props and overlays as well, top job on this, chris.

When I first looked at the script, I thought "whoa, I'm really am going to enjoy this".

My favourite episode ever.

Film on. 5 stars.

p.s. talk to me on skype if you want me to be on anymore films of yours, OK?
