Film Description
"The Creepy Clown Visits - A Poem"
Is the tale about a traumatized child who went insane when he saw his mother being killed by his father. Years later after having avenged his mothers death he realizes that he finds killing funny and begins to kill off random people while wearing clown makeup. One night he arrive at the door of an old couple where he is being treated with semi-hostility and it wakes the sleeping murderer within him. The whole tale is narrated by the clown as a psychotic childrens rhyme.

Story and poem written and voiced by Andreas Faaborg Nielsen aka Tie.

Music by Kevin MacLeod.

Inspired by the work of Tim Burton, the "Courage the Cowardly Dog" episode "Freaky Fred" and the Joker from Batman.

Aaaaammmmmuuuuusssssing!
The Creepy Clown Vists is a delightful poem about psychopath killer who happens to be dressed as a clown. His murderous ways started when he was young lad after he witnessed the death of his mother committed by the drunken acts of his father. Now, he is off on a killing spree. Now, that sounds interesting, doesn't it? This frightening film is narrated by this psychopathic clown. Not only does the Clown speak in his eerie voice, but he also narrates the film in a poem. The poem was well written, and it had a deep impact on the originality of the movie. The creepy music in the background really set the mood and tone of the film. The voiceovers excluding the Clown were great. The grumpy old man made me laugh when he said, "Get your ass outta here!" Some of the dialogue kind of toned down the seriousness from the film, but the film isn't supposed to be serious, it's supposed to be... funneeeee. Well done!

You had me at "psychopathic clown." With the new Batman film coming soon and the appearance of my idol The Joker (scariest version), my excitement can barely be contained. In a vain hope to quell my urge for murderous clowns, your title quickly caught my eye. Preparing my mind for an assault of madness, I pressed play and dived into the mind of a killer.

As the movie's title suggests, it is a poem. A poem narrated by this clown. Playing all the way through is a gentle tingle with the style of a nursery rhyme. Nursery rhymes have been used in horrors before to great effect and this one is no different. There's something deeply chilling about an innocent tune twisted for malevolent purposes. Who doesn't get a panic attack every time they remember "1, 2, Freddy's coming for you."

The voice of the clown was quite powerful. I actually got a chill the first few times he said "funny" but the novelty wore off quickly as the word was overused. I laughed when he said "bring it on you old crone" as it seemed out of character. There isn't any need for me to explain the story like I usually do in these reviews, your description pretty much sums it up. I did wonder what exactly set him off in the first place. Did the old man remind him of his father? How did he get caught? Why wasn't he thrown into mental asylum? Did he do a few children's birthday parties between killings in order to pay for the bomb?

Editing was above average. The reaction to being shot three times mixed in with viewings of the gun were impressive. Shockingly out of the hundreds of movies I've watched on TMO, I had never seen that simple trick done properly before. Had some issues with certain lines in the dialogue, but it wasn't enough to ruin the atmosphere.

Overall a solid movie which deserves it's 13th (eek) place on the horror charts. Hell, most of the horror movies above it couldn't scare a child with an anxiety disorder.

I liked it a lot. The voice acting was like a cross between Mark Hamill doing the Joker and Warwick Davis. The rhyming was pretty good. Good camerawork. I am glad the clown turned out to be a psycho because if he would have actually wanted to just make people happy this would have gone downhill fast. I love the last shot of her smiling corpse and part of me thinks that was a great spot to end it. Still, great work. My only complaint is that you said the word funny about three times as much as I would have liked. At least you changed up how you said it toward the end.

Keep tightening up your work and you will be one of if not the best TMOer around here. This was the best TM movie I have seen yet!

great story line...

I LOVED the part how you said FUNNY.... everytime the clown said funny.... just the way it was said went perfect with the poetry....

I have to say that was touching in its own little way...

that had a pretty good story to it....

that movie REALLY needs to get like 100 stars...

but since I can only give you 5 stars...

This is by FAR the most original movie I have seen at TMO. Executed with true creepiness, I was convinced that this clown was indeed psychotic. Tie has dared to break out of the usual mold and create a masterpiece here. In fact, to date, this is the best film I have seen since I have joined TMO. Very well done. Keep it up!

That was wicked! Literally! I loved it, even though I hate clowns and have a terrible fear of them. I guess that's what made it all the more enjoyable, though.

The rhyming was fantastic. I definitely would be completely unable to come up with that. You have true talent. And not just in poetry, the film took talent in itself. Everything fit together perfectly. Very good job.

WOAH! That was absoutly incredible dude, really enjoyable!!
I must say that was your best movie ever, which is saying something as your previous movies have been of a very high standard, so top job!!!!!
The vo's were perfect, loved the direction, the story was told very well through the poem, it didn't lose track or anything, it flowed very well together. The concept was very interesting and you pulled it off extremely well.
In my opinion, this is a movie of it's own kind!
It's really very original and un-like anything i have seen on TMO ever!
Top job overall dude. It was really well done and very, very entertaining.
Overall: 12/10 [6 stars if i could]
A very well thought out movie that really goes deep into the human mind, in this case, the mind of a sicko. The acting is fantastic, everything is!
I loved this dude! Keep on filming, really intrugied to see what you do next!
Out-standing work!!!!!
I give this movie: My Highly recommmended movie award and two big thumbs up!

Nightmares? You betchya'. Top VO performance here, you oughta' start getting out into other people's movies more because I'm sure there is a lot of folks out there on TMU who would like to have your voice in their flicks. Really swell job all around on the creepy-yet-darkly-funny genre, which is a hard one to pull off, yet you got it perfectly. Great work!

Nicely ambient music plays as murder and mayhem ensues - terrific voice performances and delivery.

excellent. Simply excellent
a first class movie which demands a five star movie. The greatest thing about it is the way its based on a Dr. Seuss like poem attitude but is all twisted and murdering. Its pretty hard to make a great horror on the movies, but you sir have easily surpassed this. Excellent 5 star

there once was a man from nantucket...

TIE gives a mostly pleasant performance, voicing these silly rythmes, but that 'funny' bit started getting a little annoying after a while. The whole idea of a horror story with a dr. seuss-like poem being narrated over it is quite interesting. an original, creative idea. however, there are just a few things that didn't work. first off, it's too long by half. about a 5 or 6 minute ditty would have been better received. i had the same response to this movie that i had to 'titanic'. by the end i was hoping they would ALL just die, already. the wife shooting the clown was where you started going astray, and the scene in the ambulance is where you went off the rails. i was hoping you would have saved it with a killer ending, or some kind of twist, but alas, nothing. just a let down. and it wasn't even 'FUNNY.'
you get four stars, because you did an excellent job of putting this all together. the acting is fine. the story, except for the lame ending, was good. the direction and camera work is first rate. i liked it all, except there was just no pizzazz. that extra intangible that makes a movie stand out was missing. and that's about as brutal as i can get, because otherwise this is a pretty decent movie.

Dude totally sadistic! it had everything a horror movie needed. How the whole movie dialouge was basically a poem amused me! It was crazy, one of the best horror films i ever seen on TMO. I loved how you incorparated the clown's backstory into his crazy behavior.
Final Thought-Amazing. It Reminded me of a Tim Burton film. I remember the episode of Courage The Cowardly Dog when Muriel's nephew comes and he's a sadistic barber who was also is whimsical.Dude Great film!

You're really good. Totally insane! I like especially the edges of filming. Great intro. Cute voices. Cool rhyming and story telling. Would be better if you subtitled it because I miss bunchs of words, and I had trouble understanding the story.
Actually it's the first "long" timed movie I survived to the end here in TMO.

You need to learn a thing or two before making another. all in all it was ok for a rookie. Why arnt you smiling? you should be funny.

Characterization-3-(Out of 4):Not much in the way of character, the lead had a bit, but the rest of the cast was fairly lackluster, of course this being more of a poem then a regular story characterzation is not something I would expect a lot of.
Camera Work-4-(Out of 4):Some nice variations in the camera. Overall a nice job here.
Dialogue-4-(Out of 4):Hard to judge the dialogue, since the nature of the beast requires you to have certain word arrangemnets in order to make the thing work. But overall the poem felt well-written and was smooth and flowing.
Plot-2-(Out of 4):Not much of a plot, just this clown shows up and kills people. There is a nice back story going on , but overall it's a failry basic plot. Again, I don't expect much from a poem.
Set Direction-3- (Out of 4):A failry good job of set direction, enough was doen to keep most of the sets looking different, although more could have been done.
Entertainment-4-(Out of 5): A entertaining movie, although "Funny" was getting annoying by the end, as the movie was a bit long for what you had.
Summary:a clown likes to rhyme and cause mayhem. An interesting little poem.
Total:-20-(Out of 25)
Stars:4 stars

That was dilivered brilliantly with some great moments easily fitted in there. The storyline was suprisingly unusual and certainly got my attention which shows a great deal of interest.

I also enjoyed how you executed the movie and how you gathered the scenes together, really a pleasure to see. I really enjoyed the touch of dark comedy, it made it sparkle with the movie. Just try not to put too much comedy in it though, because it just won't flow. Maybe just added a bit now and probably a bit later.

Overall I found this movie delightful, brilliantly executed and absorbingly great. A really nice movie to see and keep this style going. Five star.

A good coulrophobic tale.

SPOILER WARNING

Good quality voice-over; I liked the idea of the clown narrating from jail afterwards. The nursery rhyme idea was worked well. Having said that, it started to get on my nerves every time he said 'funny'!

I liked the variation on the killings and the use of the pushing onto the railway track!

Also some good twists at the end, such as the fact he left a bomb in the house. His Hannibal-Lecter style recovery in the ambulance is followed by him being recaptured, however this was not explained too well.

Could have done with some slightly tighter editing and pace, to get down from 9:50 to about 7-8 mins. Overall though I thought it was good Horror work, worthy of 5 stars.

I love this movies name, "The Creepy Clown Visits."

That was deliciously bizarre, and twisted. It almost felt like I was watching a whacked out version of Dr. Suess.

5 stars all the way, and may I say that you have a good day? (I can do it too! Ain't that, funny?)

Very good, the way you tell the story is great, the way the film is made is awsome, but if I hear someone say "FUNNYYYYY", I think something bad will happen.

Words are of no use here...! "The Creepy Clown Visits" is just too good for words!! That was absolutely awesome and inspirational!!

As you know, I am the director of "The Batman" and it's sequels. And this, by far, is the best inspiration I have seen for psycho-pathic clowns. The Joker, in my films, is a lot like this character. And, for that and more, this film is a, now, new favorite of mine. Inspirational, insightful, and terrifically told, this tale of a demonic clown recieves high praise from me!

This film may provide inspiration for my Joker character in my upcoming "Batman" films, and I will be sure to include you and your film into the film(s) that I have gotten my inspiration from!

And i also thank you for commenting on "The Batman's Return", and I hope you will get to take a look at the upcoming sequels!!

Many thanx,

Excellent voiceover! Perfect for the character.

I am a big fan of Horror flicks. This one did not let me down. Twisted and wicked in every way. Clowns scare the crap out of me anyway.

Can't deny this one 5 stars. GREAT JOB!!!

A lot of work went into this for metre and rhyme, with an inncoent like creepyness to suit. An evil childlikeness about it.

In my English class, we're starting to get into poetry and the different rhyme schemes and builds. Iambic pentameter, Shakespearian Sonnets, etc. I couldn't really tell if you used any sort of complicated rhyme scheme, but the movie was good nonetheless. Kudos.

'The Creepy Clown Visits' is a highly effective and disturbing showcase that proves how strong words are and how their meanings conveyed in a psychedelic nature can really affect one's viewing experience!

You have certainly done a good job here with the plot progression and I look forward as always to see more from your studio.

Until the next time...

You know, I gotta say, that was pretty dang enjoyable! I couldn't help but shake the feeling like this was an episode of that old TV show Courage the Cowardly Dog but I enjoyed that show, and if you don't know what I'm talking about, then that's fine and I'll keep the pleasure to myself...

Loved the creepy vibe. I also liked how you mixed up his signature remark with other words or phrases. At one point I actually stated to say it along with him, until you started mixing it up! Good plot, nice rhymes, and an overall good creepy horror movie!

Oh, and I hate clowns! They should have left him to die!

Lots of TMO horror flicks have used poetic verse to convey a certain uneasiness about their material and subject matter. "A is for Alice" and "Apollyon" spring to mind as examples of how this CAN be done well, but this movie in particular, struck a frightful chord with me.

The reason:

It is quite simply: THE WEIRDEST movie I've seen on this site. But it also has some pathological meat to it. A real brain is beneath it's twisted foundation, and a beating heart guides it's progress.

The pathology of it's subject gives each verse a truthful strain. And we are simply voyeurs to the sadistic debacle he is constantly under. A man who can't laugh can't appreciate life to it's fullest. And a man who can't laugh unless he witnessess the distress of others first hand- is destined to miss out on one of life's finest treasures... Unless he takes matters into his own hands.

Well done, Tie. Creepy in every respect.

I wasn't sure when I started this, if I would like it or not. I am glad I gave it a chance. The writing was very good! It felt like modern day poetry with a macabre twist. Great story line that really took me in. I actually cared for the characters (particularly the old woman). This was well done!

I'm giving this movie 5 stars because I really loved it. I like the poem, I think it was really well written. I especially like the use of the word Funny. I think you did a really good job with the audio and sound effects, you didn't overdo it. Hopefully, one day, I'll be able to do the sound on my movies as good as you do!
