Once again, Uber balances mods with story to create yet another engaging installment to the Enigma series, and the best episode thus far this season.
Nice camera-work and once again brilliant voice acting and characterization. Only nitpick I have is that once again volume levels were a little inconsistent amongst characters, which was evident during interaction scenes, but apart from that, a huge improvement on the technical side of things as opposed to episode one.

A great cross-over episode, and you just gotta love the Conquest!

ENIGMA:CONQUEST is a special piece of science-fiction for it links two highly popular series together in this extraordinary crossover feature! For me, personally, it has been a fantastic honor to have shared the screen with ENIGMA. Ubernewbie produced a wonderful interpretation of Conquest! The animated effects by EE were exciting. The mods superbe. The sound effects were real. I especially loved the communications chatter on the Atlas bridge and the Com Signal. Kwis again portrayed a direct, seasoned captain. Doc is always an asset to any film! Dirk Wallace was tops in portraying Ashe.... and Jenna is the perfect Jai Kiri. Sisch is exotic as Dara, the cybernetic. Lovely always is KillerActress (whom I have yet to act with in any real capacity) and I know we'll be hearing more from Mrs DNR. Andy... thanks!!!!! I hope I've covered everybody. All you modders make it happen....A Special thanks to Guppi for making the primary Conquest content, and of coure, to Ubernewbie for sharing space with me! BRAVO everybody! ===K4===

SCIFI-TASTIC!
Excellent episode, twas awesome seeing the Conquest
& crew as well. Doc makes for a GREAT Capt Paige..Really dig him in this role.
Like Strider, I could go on repeating other reviews I've made about this
great Series but shant. Other than everything is getting tighter & more Pro
with every new episode of Enigma that comes out.
Your Moviemaking prowess has just risen & risen.
I really can't find any faults in this Episode whatsoever.
All the Voice Actors were great, suited their roles.
Loved your Dressings & choices of anim.
Great Stuff. Really good episode.
Excellent job Ubernewbie.
You may now have 24hr R&R before getting stuck into Ep 3.. ;)

A splendid cross-over episode and first 'real' insight into the Conquest universe, great to see the conquest characters, the VA's were great.
I'll probably repeat myself over with the music, mods and editing so I'll stick by my previous reviews for the series. Other than that Great story, I liked the whole setup on how the Atlas meets Conquest need I say more and the special effects were superb especially for those battle scenes.

Great Work for this episode

GREETINGS FROM L.M.A.O. STUDIOS!

Great 2nd episode!

Great mods and inventive script play center stage to this episode. Love the line ??he looks good for his age?? lol

Great cross over with the Conquest series. Gunna have to tune into that series now.

I have to say I'm disappointed by the copycat Star Trek ship. Looks very cool, but still.

Ah man you used Samuel Barber's String Quartet, mov't 2, Opus 11. (AKA Platoon Score) I might have not cared as much if you at least credited him in your ??Remix?? note. Sadly that earns this cool flick a 1 star from me. Sorry Uber.

There are so many musicians and free-use music out there, why oh why use music that isn't allowed or not even credit it?

Would have easily gotten a big ass 5 from me man.

Bummer.

cross over fever has hit the TMO community. One example of this can be found in the recently (well, it was a couple weeks ago, but I just recently found out) released episode of the Enigma series, ENIGMA II ep2 ?? Conquest.

Although the movie has absolutely no problems in it, I can??t give it a five out of five this time. Why? Well, since this is the fifth or sixth time watching the Enigma series, it started to grow a little uninteresting compared to other episodes. However, the feeling maybe different if you??re watching the series for the first time.

After wating 10million hours for my sh!tty computer to buffer this movie, I FINALLY got aorund to watching it. And i was glad i did.
The cast: Nothing short of epic. Doc did an awesome job (Mrs DNR is in it too?? who knew she even VO'd!?)
The music, was totally radical and set some moods. The only problem I saw is in like the opening scene, I think the spaceship was rumbling. You cant hear sounds in space! Minus 1 star!
I missed some of the past few episodes (i need to now go back and watch em) so I might have been kindof lost, but i could still comprehend what was goin down.
The mods/overlays were pretty wicked too...of course every Enigma has beastly effects.
Even though sci-fi isnt really my top choice, this was still a really enjoyable movie for me to watch, and I can wait to see what else you got up your sleeve!

Gotta love these cross-over movies.
Admittedly this was my first visit to Enigma, but my was I impressed!
Some wonderful visual treats in there amongst the exciting use of music and action pacts camera and editing.
Some good VOs brought the characters to life. Some scenes were a little slow but the overall impac is deffinately; 5 stars!
Well done!

Finally I got around to watching this and like Captain Page said, This is amazing! Everything in this was excellent. The mods, sets,VOs,music, overlays, effects all out of this world! I'm glad we got to see Conquest and its entire crew in this, both ATLAS and Conquest in one episode is one badass episode. Space battle was very well done and the camera work gave the full effect. You do a fantastic job Uber and can't wait for Episode 3!

The first thing that really struck me hard was the shot of the Atlas on the Conquest??s screen. Simply beautiful. The cast was great, and the credits are wonderful. The flyby of the two ships face to face, with the episode title had me drooling, halfway expecting live action sequences to follow. The mods were stellar, no question, so it certainly wansn't a disappointment when the Movies characters came on screen.

I think the flaws mostly lie in the a few areas. Perhaps more attention could be payed to the final mix. Various pieces of dialogue get lost among the other sounds, while others (even in the same conversation) stand out. I believe, at this point, with all of the advancements that have been made to the visual end of the enigma series, the greatest hindrance (if it can be called that) tend to be the scripts. It??s not that they are horrible, but I believe that they could stand to have some tweaking at times. Fine tuning some lines of dialogue here and there, and working on pacing occasionally. Sometimes things happen way too fast. It??s a good thing to leave people wanting more, but these babies are practically over just as I??m getting into the groove, lately. That??s a great sign that the enjoyment factor is there, but I think pacing it out to build a little more suspense and drama will only increase that (if done at the right times).

I did find it a bit odd that the two crewmen in the cargo bay didn??t freak out when Captain Page beamed out, given they are unfamiliar with transporter technology.
This is by far the best episode you??ve put together, thus far, and I??m glad I could be a part of it.

Well that was fun. Absolutely gorgeous to look at, astonishing work. And a nice way to merge the two geekdoms; sorry, I mean the two universes.
I do have a slight gripe though: That Picard bloke really messed you up, hearing Kwis say "I would" rather than "I'd"; "I will", rather than "I'll" grated on me. Exact English doesn't work for this to my ear.
Just a wee thing, but it bugs me.

Great Sci-fi

The Good
Although I wasnt completly into the story I did enjoy it. The VOs were Top notch as to be expected with a cast such as this. Sound Fx were outstanding very "boomy" had to turn my sub to min when the action heats up. Mods were good.

The bad
At the very end the "Conquest" Captian apears to talk while the admiral speaks no biggie though.

Well as kind of a fan of the enigma series and having seen most of the episodes I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. The modding for the enigma series is unbelievably good and puts it to it's own visual universe together with the top notch voice acting I couldn't give any less than 5 stars. Through I'm disappointed by the story there is nothing absolutely nothing innovative about a space jump gone wrong with damage... yaddayadda... that's what you get to see in every second sci-fi. It seemed that crossover episode was a bit to forced, the dialogs are well written as always but the plot is disappointing and that the conquest captain just takes it that the atlas is from 1000years in the future without asking or arguing anything ...
oh well I still can't give less than 5 stars for your as primaer said it well "highly advanced techniques of filmmaking". =)

cheers

Now, keeping in mind I've never seen an Enigma nor Conquest movie, I may bumble over a few things in this review - if I do, take it simply for my ignorance of the series and move on.

I have to congratulate you on managing to get the viewers up-to-date about the history of the series in such a quick time. All very snappy and professionally done, letting me immerse myself into the movie without wondering "Huh?". The dialogues movie-like (Which is a good thing, of course) and for sometime I felt I was watching an episode of Star Trek....Star Trek: The Next Generation, to be exact. This flick seemed to have quite a bit of Trekky rips in it, and I'm not talking about just the "Time Travel" plot either (Which was done at least twice on TNG). The laser sounds seem to be directly taken from the show, for one, which is nigh-on breaking copyright ruling - But I won't give you any low rating because of that, as it could just be a very, very, very similar sound. Next is the Vulcan-eared helmswoman and the Borg-eyed commander....C'mon! Giving nods and whatnot is fine, but out-right making a black-haired clone of 7 of 9? Seems a bit silly and unoriginal to me, but again, I won't chart you down for this as I don't know if there's a reason or not for her to have that particular eye-piece.

The voice acting is all well and good...Emerald_Edge's and Killer_Actresses' lines seemed to be a bit quiet though, where as Kwistufa's seemed to be overly loud, but nothing terrible. A few lines from the extras sounded a little, well, bored, which took me a bit out of the experience, but ah well.

The mods are absolutely fantastic - I really, really, really love some of the models presented here. Really fantastic work that I'd say is the stand-out of this movie.

The music fits in well with the motions seen on-screen and definitely helped carry the movie along nicely, so well done on picking them out.

One thing which I'm really rather astounded by, however, is how quickly the 13 minutes went by...This movie draws you in and flies by without you ever looking at the time - I can't really lay my finger on it, but I think it has something to do with the wonderful pacing. Much like Userjosh9847's "Chronicles of The Rift (Origins)", this movie has a pace that's, as I previously put it, "fast without being quick"...No diddly-daddlying; every second contributes to the progression of the plot. This kind of pacing is something everyone should aspire to have in their movies - Awesome work, I must say.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with what I've saw here and look forward to the continuation. Cross-overs often don??t' work too well, but this turned out perfect. The only thing the Conquest/ENIGMA series misses is me (LOL! Just kidding - But seriously, I'd definitely be up for a role in either series, so Uber/K4, if either of ya' got a place for me in your universes, just come a'knockin'! Hehe).

***** - Five stars, for sure - *****

A fantastic addition the the 'Universe' of Enigma/Conquest. Very enjoyed this, had just the right combination of action and dialogue. FX looked amazing and the ship you create (externbal and internal ) always blows me away. My only grip is the saound levels of some of the va's. For a movie that has clearly had so much care and time put into it, i find it strange that i struggled to hear some of the actors at times.

Looking forwarad to the next.

Nice special effects and music, and a great story - as I've had to admit I haven't seen any of the Enigma series until now, I guess I have a lot of catching up to do! The modding on this is spectacular, and the only minor thingy for me was that the sounds and music sometimes overpowered the voices a bit - but that might be due to different computer set-ups... great work!

I must say that peachy6543 made a good case for not watching this movie. I mean when I balanced his opinion against the fact that all the previous episodes of Enigma have been great and the usual excellent script writing, along with many of the best voice actors. And even though this episode included the coming together of the two biggest sc-fi series on TMO, peachy's argument balanced against that was so very, very strong, but I thought "what the heck!" and watched it anyway. :D

Seriously though: It was a real pleasure to see Enigma and Conquest come together. I actualy enjoyed this far more than Star Trek generations. Well done to eveyone involved! :)

Damn I put 5 stars and only intended to put 1.

Absolutely stunning. Ya gotta love those space battles! :)

The one thing that caught my fancy during the entire movie were the costumes, and character developement. An eye-patch, blue make-up, etc... It makes you wonder how did he get that eye-patch? What is his/her story? Where did they come from?

The voice actors did an excellent performance, but the volume levels were different. I constantly had to set, and reset my volume up, and down between the talking, and the sounds of blasting, explosions, etc.

Brilliant use of mods. I especially liked the lasers coming out of the ships, and the scene were Captain Paige was transported onto Captain John's ship.

Can't wait to see what happens next.

5 stars all the way!

A very good episode - I've never seen Conquest before, but it was a great first scene. How many amazing guest stars do you need??? That whetted my appetite for the rest of the film.

The bridge scenes (with one exception) were masterful - very convincing.

Eye candy is a huge feature of the first two episodes so far - I very much liked the engine room, the teleporter room and the explosion effects in the space battle (bits of spaceship flying off with each hit). The editing of the space battle was very well done; I felt it when an explosion knocked two of the Conquest crew flat onto the deck.

The actors did a good job by and large, although Captain Hero's lines were often too loud in comparison to the other characters (and yet that was a very good performance). Some rebalancing was all that was needed there.

The only other nitpick was a bridge scene in which we see the captain talking from his chair face on. In the background are two characters that keep "resetting" over and over again. Why not just remove those characters, they're not important; probably one of those things that's easy to overlook as a director if you're too focussed on the central character and what they're up to.

But that's all really - I enjoyed this alot.

sorry dude, as much as i enjoyed your film i sort have to agree with fozz20

considering the fact your user page says "All my CURRENT (that is currently showing) movies are original. No copying anyone elses anymore, like hitman, splinter cell etc. All original."

sorry mate but i feel real hard that if you say something, then you better do it. and hopefully you can learn in the future, but i doubt it.

Good mods used here, good dialogue for a Sci-Fi film (well done to Mustachio and all VO's). Also well done to K4's ORIGINAL MODS who has taken something and reworked it into his own idea and design. I like the concept of this series and i wish you could have given more thought into originality. By that i mean not copying Stargate Atlantis for your ideas on ship model design and bridge design. It is one thing to comment to other people about copying in their film (1 staring Chris62 in Galaxy at war) but it is totally hypocritical to then do it yourself. I'm sure the designs for Atlantis are copyrighted themselves and i will be informing MGM (Not Marvellous Guppi Movies) to inform them of this breach. I'm VERY dissapointed with you for this. I hope you will rethink your series and attitude towards other films in the future.
Fozz.

"You call that science?!" Haha. This was very hot. Enigma seems quite a bit more rough and tumble than those Conquest lads...it was fun to see the differences up close and personal. Love some of those interior ship mods. Loved the interior damage shots of people being tossed about. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the 6 battlecruisers in formation animation. Looked a bit too static to be effective. Otherwise, this was an excellent episode and was a lot closer to mainstream sci-fi than I figured tmo would allow for. Great job!

Season 2 is turning out to be a real break-the-mold season for Enigma, taking us to places and showing us things we've not seen before. As the season continues, the crew of the Atlas finds itself face to face with the legendary Capt Jason Page and the crew of the Conquest.

As a crossover episode between the Conquest universe and the Enigma universe, it works very well - just enough of both ships/crews to give you a taste of each - and with Conquest, it's a first taste, since this is the first time we've encountered the ship and it's crew in action.

As always, great effects and sets - with Enigma, you just naturally accept the unexpected - yeah, that's a new corridor....oh yeah, have never seen that starship before...oh, new bridge...because it all just flows naturally in the story - it's never the centerpiece, the point of attention...it just is.

Good performances as well, which is to be expected - Kwis is always a standout as Capt. Hero, but Doc gives him a run for his money as Capt. Page - and the supporting roles are both well cast and well acted.

I'm hoping that Uber can keep up the pace of quick releases - I want to see what happens next!

Great crossover platform that brings together two excellent casts and franchises.
I was really feeling it, I wish the voice levels were balanced a little better because I had to fiddle with my speaker volume to hear or turn down different moments. It's possible to make everyone about the same level and that's always the director's job in the end.

Totally fresh content and visuals that remind me just how creative we can be with TMO talents all comming together like this.
Excellent teamwork, and fascinating film.

I love cross-over episodes, and this certainly did not disappoint! What a fun and wild ride (it reminded me of the "Tomorrow's Enterprise" episode from Star Trek: TNG where Picard's Enterprise meets the old Enteprise C from thirty years ago--one of my faves). This was a brilliant mesh of the two series and it's seamless plot intergration was very well thought out and more importantly executed!!

There was some terrific plot develoment and good use of suspense not to mention some great acting and action sequences. This was a fabulous episode, which was reminiscant of ST: Generations. I wish It could have been longer, which is a testament to how well this was pulled off.

There is definetly more room for a future cross-over episode, should you and K4 choose to go down that route.

Episode 2 not only widens the scope for CQ and ENIGMA, but it opens up a whole new door of possibilities with such creative minds at work.

Keep up the good work folks! and until the next time..
