That was brilliant Karl, it had a spagetti western feel to it and was very well crafted, the kind Sergio Leone would make, overall it provided tension and a whole lot of atmosphere, a great little TMO Movie which i enjoyed to watch!

P.S. Sorry. I made a stupid comment on Blue Chicago Moon. It was a really good movie.

Slow-moving but very original. Thin story but well told. The goods outweigh the bads in this film. With some spot on camera work and decent VOs and music placement, this is not a bad film at all.

5 stars from the Archaic Review Board

Wow! Excellent direction, all the colors the sand and the whole atmosphere. This has to be one of the most atmospheric films on TMO and one of the best western, even if it's a short film.
Now one of my favorite films!

Simply great... wish we could see the back story... this would be great as part of a continued story or the end of one (which it must have been)....

Nice short. A snapshot of a moment. Loved the slo-mo overlays, widescreen and the backdrops. Good creation of mood. Id like to hear ya beef up your voice just a tad (volume and maybe bass) as its a bit tinny but eh. Good stuff.

A very good short film. I thought the build up was nicely done. The music fit perfectly but what really shined was the directing. Nice shots and nice use of the free cam. I thought everything flowed very smoothly. Not a lot of dialogue, but it was not needed to tell this western tale. Great work here.

short and good. Always appreciated characters coming at the end of their roads....tired and wondering why. That's what I'liked in this short moment you offered us, leaving many questions unanswered about your 2 characters, would have liked to learn more about them but it's all right this way.... anice moment.

see you!

A descent film, not really on the normal, stereotypical basis of an action film, more a drama. Great choice of inbuilt, THE MOVIES GAME music, it worked really well to keep it to a modest feel, well done.

Very well done! It's short, but really well made. We can feel the tension in this duel. Glad to see my overlays in it :) Well used!

Great VOs and well played out scenes. The background noise was fantastic, a perfect contributer to the gut-wrenching tension that played along in this film. My only complaint is that you need to rid your VOs of the the clicking sound that I heard in about every sequence.

Man, yet another great film by you! The tension you built up was intense; I thought twice that once the music crechendoed that something would happen. A great Western, and some great overlays. A commendable job.

Wonderful creation of tension, the ultimate showdown. I like your film very much, it truly reminds me of a real western. Beautiful on the visual side too. Very good job, shoot on!

Could you by the way please rate my western THE DRAG OF LIFE too? I'd really appreciate it.

Another visually captivating piece that demonstrates your use of the free-cam to establish shots and build up tension. Highly appropriate for the western genre I think you did a very good job and can't wait to see more from you.

An atmospheric and stylish short movie. Great Voice Over and the classic western topic. Nice job, Karl, the atmosphere and how you build it up is once again remarkable!

Clever overlay(?) use there for the confessional.
I thought the shootout setup was TOO long. Time could have been used for character development.
Great camera shots were used for setting up the shootout. Sunset to the back, billowing dust clouds...free cam was well used.
