My my my! A whole new depth has been brought out of the EDS Destiny series by the use of Voice Overs. Some wonderful performances brought to life this excelent transferance from the old to the new. Some very good writing here and nicely put together. Well done!

Excellent camera work, editing and use of mods and setdressing!
I loved the slow getting into the story - the dream and memory scenes were very well done, and though I haven't seen Season 1, I felt I learnt a lot about the characters of this story! I'm looking forward to working on and watching the next episodes!

"Ladies and gentlemen, in this corner weighing in at 83kgs, weighing the beige shorts, creator of the Destiny series; Matew Strider."

A great intro and a "previously on Destiny" episode. Dealing with the trama and loss of a commanding officer that people are close too is well represented here. A well crafted setting with wonderful eye candy. Though is abound here with attention to detail everywhere. A john to watch. Well done on your VO cast, except for two; the admiral and the engineer; poorly done. :p

Wonderful film! It was an amazing first episode. The Plot for this episode was well written and must have took a lot of time of thinking too. The cast for this film is excellent and they all fit the characters personallity. Costumes were good and all the mods you made were great! Your freecam was excellent and got all the right camera angles needed for this film. Music in this episode was a great choice, it set the mood whenever the music came on. I loved the overlays and at the end you showed what will happen in the next episode. It does look very interesting and I can't wait until it is released. Your editing was great and I didn't see any problems. Great first episode and the next one will be great too. Wonderful job and thanks for making such a great film, you have such talent.

Great character development in this first offering of the new season! Fantastic camera. The costuming mods make it personal. This reflects a growth in your movie making expertise. One can tell you stretched yourself here and it pays off! BRAVO! ===K4===

Well, Cap'n, this was a sterling episode! I was VERY glad to read the description and see the addition of VAs. And the music was ALL good this time around.

I have some reservations with the cast (some of the voices didn't match the on-screen actor as well as I'd like), but overall they did a very good job.

This was a nice, albiet quiet, episode. There was something else I wanted to add, but it escapes me as I write this. Oh well, next time!

Good job!

I just don't have the ability or words to describe how much I admire your work. The English language, or my skills with it, are too small - so, forgive in advance, if I leave a silent rating after watching Ep. 2. What more could I - or anyone - say?

Awesome movie! I loved the story and the voice-acting. The music and use of mods was well done. Costumes/starmaker-use, sets, scenes/actions, lighting, camera-work, etc, all perfect. All around a great movie technically and a great movie emotionally on the story level too. It drew me in. At the same time, I was also fascinated by some of the technical details and it gave me ideas. The story kept me focused though as it was really a touching story on their deep connection.

Well normally when I rate movies I often tend to be quite harsh not because I??m evil but so they can improve their movies. But there is very little to be harsh about in this one first off I have to congratulate you on having some great voice actors on your film that really brought character to your characters.
Second is the design of the ship and its corridors were impressive and how can I forget the fantastic opening title sequence it was quite stylish. The story was ok but I haven??t really seen the others yet so I can??t comment too much on that.

Overall a great film or episode whatever you want to call it a great job I shall give it 5 stars.

A powerful title sequence, a well rounded cast, visually enhancing mods and camera shots, and a great soundtrack. What more could one want from this series except for a bit faster pacing.

5 stars from the Archaic Review Board

You've done a great job. Even more importantly I applaud that you've been able to continue the series. Unfortunately I have come to discover your series a little late -- any chance that you might put them up elsewhere? Perhaps YouTube or Stage6?

A poignant start, to which looks promises to be an immense Sci-fi adventure

What do you expect in the first episode of a new series? Mind blowing action, intense battles etc?.well captain strider, has broken the rules and you know what? ?.it works
The cinematography is excellent, your attention to detail is first-rate and it set??s up the rest of the series, I hope there will be more episodes like this, it gives us the TMO viewers a chance to discover the history behind the characters , VA??s were outstanding, music was emotive, MODS?.well what can I say about the MODS?.exceptional. You have got me hooked and will be looking out for part two.

HA SIDO UNA HISTORIA PRECIOSA, DENTRO DE UN MUNDO DE CIENCIA FICCI?N, HAY MOMENTOS ROM?NTICOS, Y MUY BONITOS.
LA DIRECCI?N LA HAS HECHO DE MANERA MUY DEPURADA, Y PERFECTA.
LOS ESCENARIOS MUY BUENOS.
ME GUSTAR?A QUE VIERAS MIS 2 PEL?CULAS, Y ME VOTARAS "MATONES DEL TESORO" Y "LOS SE?ORES DEL INFIERNO". MUCHAS GRACIAS.

I good watch with an interesting character based plot, it left me wanting to see what happerns in the next one for sure. Great visuals, and most of the time, very good music; a couple of the voices needed level balance to match up to others.

Very inventive stuff.

This is an amazing film. A great first episode to the season. The story was very well thought out and written. I loved the character work and pacing of it. You didn't rush anything and just let it come to us through the story which is refreshing, especially in a sci fi film.
The editing was great as was your use of camera angles.
The cast did an excellent job. I thought Sisch was just brilliant. She had me captivated with her performance.
Overall a Great movie I'd recommend to all.

I love the look of this show. Everything looks so fresh, with a great use of mods. I also think that's the first time I saw a hologram on TMO--very inventive. A great cast really brought the characters to life (although a few times I hoped for a little more emotion in the deliveries--don't be afraid to direct your VA's more by writing in the script how you wish for them to say the lines). I also enjoyed the music; it was very appropriate. I did hope to see a little action though, and I think most people expect that in a "sci fi" movie, even if it is primarily focused on "memories". Looking forward to the next episode (nice job by tacking on a little glimpse of things to come).

I had to think for a moment if I would go 4 stars or 5...
use of free cam is incredable, custom sets, amazing, music selection perfect. some of the Voice acting lacked feeling but that is not a fault of yours.

over all the movie was breath taking, I felt the story draged a little in the middle and over all, there wasn't much action, however this is only the first part to what I understand and it seems like it's building.

good job and can't wait to see the next one

An Astonishing achievement in filmmaking and storytelling! Picks up right where Season 1 left off and takes the entire series to the next level. The voiceovers are fantastic, the character development continues to be remakable and very fluid in form. The mix of story and tech is absolutely perfect. Not alot of action in the episode but definetly alot of awesome details.
From the preview of the next episode it looks as though you are taking the series in an entirely new direction which is perfect for keeping a story new and interesting.
I will be working toward making Red Squad even 20% as good as this.
One day we will see DIRECTED BY: CAPTAINSTRIDER on the big screen in a local cinema!

What a great way to start off Season 2 with a somewhat merged and fluid continuation of story and issues from Season 1. Once again your world is filled with interesting characters and I thought you did a good job in getting this off to a good start. I look forward to hopefully one day seeing Season 1 again in High Res, along with this current season, but until then...

Nuke Well in Destiny!!!

Ok, I thought this was going to be another stupid space film but it was put together really well and the flow caught my attention for more than 5 mins almost. Great overall production, I wish I had the time you do to put into your movies.

Very touching and moving intro to the new season Mr. Strider! The voice acting was superb and the emotional baggage from the first series was very well used and contributed to a beautiful Kick-off to a the new season!
