As I sit back, reflecting on the movie, I've realized that I've just watched something so deep that I could just barely comprehend it. First of all, great job, it really made me laugh. But, I've realized, behind all that humor, is a deep and harmonious message the the creation of the universe and all sentient life beings within it.
First thing: why did he sit down and pretend to be a car in the first place? In my personal opinion, he was emotionally distressed, and isolated from the rest of the world, and wanted to let people know that all was not lost, that mankind could be pulled from the very brink of destruction. Also, he was probably sick of being a human, and wanted to put himself in the skin of one who was content and traveled at sickeningly fast speeds. You've done very well highlighting that very issue, and I applaud you for having the bravery to present it in such stark contrast.
Secondly, what purpose did the man have in life? From what I could gleam, he was sick of his melancholy, repetitive lifestyle, and wanted to escape from the folly of mankind. I think that he wanted to create an alternate universe, where death, sickness, and pain would not prevail. Again, I applaud you for exploring these issues so deeply.
Third, what does the crash signify? Perhaps it represents how good things do not last forever, how it could all go crashing down when fate does not play out the way it was meant to. On the other hand, in a literal sense, perhaps the man actually did crash in his imagination, and since he was so in harmony with his imaginary world his body couldn't take the shock. This is something that I will debate for a very longs time.
Also, this raises interesting issues about fate itself. What if the man was never born? What if the universe was never created? What if time and space itself never manifested? Could Earth be logical, then?
Five stars for making me laugh, for good freecam, for great overlays, and for raising some deeply discussed issues!

I was charmed by the silliness of this movie. But there is a depth to this when you think about it. How our imaginations can entertain us for hours. Then again deeper still how loneliness can lead to madness. Thank god we have more than just a chair these days to be creative with. Funny, brilliant and thought provoking.

lol ok that's whacked, but that's exactly what I like about it haha:-)
I actually think the fact that it just kept going and going made it funnier, because it showed how pointless and sad this dude's pathetic existence in his little world is haha...
One thing I wonder though:You seemed pretty accomplished with your impressive auto-impression...Could it be possible you've had alot of practice over the years whilst sitting in a chair at home?...I can't help but think so haha:-D

Absolutely inspirational. You've just reminded me that next time I go on an acid trip, I should make a movie.

This is a Hollywood blockbuster for sure, I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel where he thinks he's a WW2 Spitfire!

Weirdest movie I've ever seen, but I love it!

A hillarious film by all regards! I agree that it seemed to go on perhaps a minute or two too long, but it was still a joy to watch! It's humor style reminded me a good deal of "Airplane!", wacky humour without rhyme or reason.

I think it would have been comical if, when you zoomed on the deer's head, the deer would have said something like "Ouch, that's gotta hurt!" Just for random effect, but that's just my opinion.

4.5 stars, rounded up.

This is a truly epic masterpiece by the oh-so great Fredrick Duckworth. He took so much TIME and EFFORT into making this cinematic orgasm. There is so much to see here: wood, chairs, a guy thinking he's a car. Incredible! I cannot believe this film hasn't won dozens or even hundreds of awards yet. This movie deserves to be number one on the charts everyday for the rest of TMO history. Whenever you're depressed or bored, just grab a seat, sit down, and watch this amazing movie. Then, you'll have a new hobby for the next time you're bored or depressed: Pretend Car Driving. There was so much emotion in this film. This film brought a tear to my eye. Yes, I did indeed cry my damn eyes out because it was so beautiful. Ah... I hope there will be a sequel or something like "I Think I'm a Boat" or "I Believe I'm a Raccoon." You should keep that in mind. Well Freddy, I end this review with one word: sarcasm. Nice try...

Whoa....Silly beyond comprehension. I couldn't help but smile, and snicker throughout the entire film. "I Think I'm a Car" definately deserves to be bookmarked. :)

Great music selection, and nice camera work.

5 stars all the way!

This was...intresting in a way. But it dragged on. There isn't really much for me to say here, good luck though. Its what the judges say, not what I say

An emotional rollercoaster ride, this film may just be the best production on TMO I've ever seen. This cinematic masterpiece contains an astounding plot with editing so epic, it makes Lord of the Rings look like a cheap B-movie. I particularly loved the part where the godfather of soul James Brown transforms with Chuck Norris into the ultimate ass kicking funk machine and defeats the mighty Hulk Hogan.

But seriously, what a pile of crap! I don't know what's worse - that I took the time to watch this (and review it) or that try as hard as I might, I couldn't resist grinning. You get one extra star because it's that absurd. Plus now the others who've received two stars from me will know their movie is on par to a man sitting on a chair making driving noises for five minutes.

The free-cam used in the introduction was well under your control, but seemed to not lead many places; just a few random trees. This was further drawn on with the entire film that took the liberty to not lead many places.

A well made film for slap-stick humor. Admittedly, slap-stick is not my taste, and a review is to capture an expression of the viewers take. However, I can see how and where a person who has an acute sense of humor (more point blank to be phrased, "easily entertained") would enjoy the film.

I came close to a three-star film rating; but with the above mentioned overlook, I believe it should take a four-star review.

This takes me back when I had to do this when i played with my little niece! She would tell me that I had to take her to the pretend store for medicine. When she bought the pretend meds and I took her home in the pretend car she would give me a real shot in the arm with a ball point pen!

Well this is a very silly little movie that brought back a very wonderful memory! It is sometimes harder to back off and just do a movie that is fun. Thanks for reminding me that I can do that too.

I don't know if you remember me, but I remember you and your crazy Undead Chicken movies. You've gotten better with your random silliness. This one ran a bit long, but the sound effects and a well timed subtitle really cracked me up. Maybe next time you could have him do an imaginary car chase complete with invisible guns. 5 stars for random silliness!

Fred you really made me laugh! But the broom car voices didn´t always fit the movement and it was way to long. Would you have made it as a 2min short comedy I would have given you 5 stars, because after 2 mins it´s getting boring. Anyway great opening and ending music. =)

Original. The intro credits on the bumper looked great (my favorite shot). A little irritating in a funny way that made me turn the volume way down. I was expecting the thrown from the car crash scene at the end or for someone to walk into the shack and make a proclamation. I also didnt quite understand the "is he there yet" subtitle. Overall I thought this flick was enjoyable but could have been more.

+ Good use of free cam.. Really nicely used in the beginning panning from scene to scene. Nicely used while character is driving in chair making turns, making it feels as though he is driving a vehicle.

+ Vo/Sound effects - Really nice Vo sounds effects of car revving, breaking, skidding, making turns, car start/crash and blinks.

+ Music - Although one song was chosen for the film, I felt it was a perfect fit for the films theme.

+ Overlays - Really nice overlays from Movie title, film presentation and credits.

+/- Story of the film was definitely different and must say weird. I thought it was unique showing a person driving a vehicle with their imagination. Although I felt the scenes became very repetitive and felt the film was too long. Plus their was no reasoning behind why he was doing this....

For the first minute of him "driving" this movie was funny as heck! It's so original and so rediculously stupid, but in a good way. After that though, it does get a little repetative, so four stars. Mind rating my movie Mission: Unlikely? Thanks =)

A very good short Fred. I really enjoyed this. It was so well executed with the vo's [which were absoutly hilarious!] and everything else. I loved this dude.
It was very clever and funny. It was so well done with the imaginative overlays, the great music and much more. This short had scenes in it that i haven't seen before, for example: with the guy looking like he's driving a car, but he ain't actually.
Infact, i do know some people on this site have done similar things to do with movies related to cars, but i've never seen anything like this on this site!!!! A masterpiece fred, true masterpiece.
I have to tell you that i liked the idea and after finishing it I was amazed by it. It was very funny, clever and really well done. A very enjoyable short.
I laughed my arse off at the end where the guy crashed!!! HEHEHE! LOL!
After seeing this movie, i think i'm a car! Get out of my way damn you! LOL!
HEHEHEHE! Great job fred. Definelty, one of your best movies on this site.
If it wasn't for the vo's in this short i don't think it would of been funny at all. By that i mean, the vo's were stab to the head hilarious and if this short didn't have them this short wouldn't really of been as good in my opinion.
Overall: 12/10
I gave you 2 extra marks as i really loved this short. It was the right length, it was what i expected, something really funny and enjoyable to watch.
I'm glad it was just that. Looking forward to what else you cook up dude.
A very recommended movie and two big thumbs up from me.
