The VO's didn't really fit for me, and I felt the action was a little too dark for the most part -- meaning it was harder to watch. Great use of mods, and a few nice scenes with regard to cinematography. It was an interesting story, but I felt the execution wasn't all that great. There was also a little too much exposition for my liking, which meant it was harder to get a feel for the character (meaning we're otherwise just looking at a string of events)

First off, I really hope you'll be working on a sequel.
Now, this surely belongs to my Kwis favs! :) Absolutely great ambient (good use of the cam that enhances it all), the unique characters and well done on all those VOs! I really liked the story and hope to see what's happening next like very soon!

Woah! Not a bad little flick you have here! The darkness gave everything a foreboding atmosphere! I really liked the characters, and the mods were amazing! I could not believe that one person did all of those awesome VO's! Then end kept me wanting more, I hope you'll have time to make a part 2! :)

Finally got around (read: remembered) to watching this film, Kwis, and I'm glad I did. Just like you did in The Case of the Missing Sister, Vincent's Quest takes place in an entirely new world where familiar TM sets and props are nowhere to be found. That in itself makes for a very fresh and entertaining experience. But the innovation doesn't end there - the characters in this story are unique and very interesting. You did an amazing job with the voices and the face making - each "person" Vincent comes across seems at once completely individual and still perfectly suited to the world you've created. The story line, even though we're just at the beginning right now, is one of the most compelling I've seen in a TM film. It moves quickly and fluidly through the beginning of the quest and I found myself hoping there were still a few minutes left by the time the credits rolled. I hope you find the time to finish this story one day.

Your best to date Kwis. Simply a joy to watch. So dark and foreboding.
Great story, and your incredible acting just make this shine, despite the dark tone. Great mods to boot.

Very nice! I look forward to the next one.

kwis...
the atmoshpere...was great...
so was the plot...and VO's, some of wierd. but hey.
I have to admit, you've really expanded ffrom just comedy. You've gone on to make some amazing serious movies, like this one, and the cave one, and some others.
Your definatly one of the best directors on TMO

An inexperienced and naive squire, travels a majical landscape of supernatural creatures, haunted locales and eventually time itself, in his quest to make things right! What a stupid little dildo!! This Atmospheric fantasy par excellence really showcases the talents in which Kwis excels. Voices range from a twisted, twittering, (nattering?), creature, etheral spirit enchantress and the soft spoken hero, himself. The enviornments are lush, and luxuriously dressed, giving the illusion of expansiveness. And the story lends itself to archetypical quest to manhood, something akin to a Sam Peckinpah orchestrated fantasy. Unfortunately, this lead up seems to just graze the surface of a deeper and more riveting story to be. If only the director could get off his laurels, and stop making everyone gnaw on their own flesh, in anticipation for the next exciting installment in what could very well be his masterpiece!!! (~ That's a threat, if you didn't catch it, jerk)

Vincent's Quest is a very amazing and compelling movie. The mods are incredible. This movie has by far the best set dressing I've ever seen. The settings look like another expansion pack. The VO's are also very surpising. They're all done by YOU! Even that sorcerer? Wow. Just wow. This movie is getting bookmarked kwis, If I could I would rate this TEN and double-bookmark your studio... but, I CAN'T. Well done! BRAVO! BRAVO!

Nice one, Chris. Definitely want to see more of this. Great look to the film. You did all the voices, which is impressive, but I think I would have liked to hear different people in some other roles.

Great stuff!

Kwis,that was bloody brilliant!
Incredible ambiance, great story and voice charaterisations (and I mean excellent) I totally forgot this was TMO there for a while... and when I remembered I was once again amazed at what can be achieved with this software, with a talented and experienced filmaker at the helm.

I hope to see more of this adventure Kwis (i dug it obviously)

You set a great premise here, chris. But, with these 'One man's journey' movies, a little more back story would get me to emote with the Lead more. The scenes with the first character he meets was very well done and I think you reached the level of atmosphere and the level of set dressing and free-cam passes your last 'serious' movie. It is refreshing to see a serious film from Kwistufa Studios and I look forward to seeing more of this as the story unfolds. Why such an enegmatic review, i realy don't want to spoil any of the film to the public. I enjoyed it and i think it is a real step up for you Chris. Fabbo.

This flick officially makes you a TM Auteur. This is the beauty of sim works - if you got the chops, you can have complete control in the production, which is evidenced in this opus. ¡Hacerlo, Cristobal!

I'm always impressed with your movies..there's something fresh and new in each one of them. This movie really turns you from guy that makes funny, quirky movies to a film maker with great vision and range. I have seen just about every one of your movies and without a doubt I would say this was the best. I wouldn't even know where to begin to start my review of this film...because quite honestly, I could find no flaw...everything was right on cue.

Great job Kwis!

This reminds me of those old Ray Harryhausen fantasy movies, like Clash of The Titans or the Sinbad flicks, maybe with a bit of Conan thrown into the mix>except your lead character is smarter than Conan haha:-)
One of the things I really like about this movie(and many of your others)is how you skillfully use the mods to create whole new worlds or unique looking environments, but you don't totally rely on them and also bring them to life with the freecam, lighting, music and sounds...I loved the altar with the exploding fire.
I'd love to see him battle a cyclops or a horde army of skeletons next time lol
A fun and stylish fantasy flick:-)
I hope you continue this...I wonder what's over the next hill...and maybe next movie have him battle a cyclops,or an angry mob of skeletons lol that would make Ray Harryhausen proud:-D

What a strange universe, filled with strange and mysterious characters.. wonderful! I loved how you voiced these characters, and sounds and music worked perfectly to enhance the dark atmosphere, as did the sets and costumes. I can't wait to follow Vincent on his quest!
