Film Description
Ben Studios Presents:
The Satan Show

On his new public television talk show, Satan tries to shake his bad boy image, insisiting that he has "matured". He wants to show the world who he truly is: An awkward, middle-aged pushover.

This movie was put together very quickly on a whim, so there are few if any mods and the editing is a bit rough around the edges. I like to call it "unpolished charm". It sounds better than "crappy editing".

If you have trouble understanding the VOs, a subtitled version is available at

Note- the "1" at the end of the title does not mean there will be more episodes, it is just a naming mix-up because I had a few saved versions of this movie on my computer.

It's time for the Satan Show.

hehe that was pretty good!

Andy_Inc's SFF Review:

A quite humorous film that I personally enjoyed very much. The highlight comedic moment for me would have to be The New Testament commercial. Ingenious. Sometimes, I just don't know how you come up with this stuff. From my perspective, this film will score high accolades.

The Satan Show is a slow moving sarcastic idea presented via public television and therefore will not be appreciated by some viewers as a creative project. This film is dialog driven brings the Prince of Darkness into the light where we discover he's just an average Joe whos image has been over blown by the tabloids... or should I say stone tablets. This dry humor style and wit is highlighted by a tour of Hell which is not what the viewer expects.

I thought this feature to be rather clever. Should future episodes rise from the flames of this beginning there are countless paths The Satan Show might travel

Well what can I say aout this Film. Well considering its 2:20am not much sice my mind is slowly draining its self. Seriously though grea man. Its frakin Hilarious & very clever. BUT I would of liked abit more Manny Jones (He mustash gives me unexplainable pleaser) One thing missing though, Prank calls whats Public accsess Tv without prank calls.

I know the review has to be long to win the interview so ill just put a terminator review in there and replace terminator for the satan show:

A thoroughly tense update of a universal fear, The Satan Show is cast to perfection. In the near future, humanity is being pushed to the verge of extinction by sentient machines (after coming through a nuclear apocalypse). To win the war before it even starts, a cyborg assassin, The Satan Show (Arnold Schwarzenegger), is sent back through time by the machines. Arriving in a flash of light, during a dirty 1984 evening, The Satan Show pauses at a view over Los Angeles, almost as if it can sense its prey already. Moments later another flash bleaches the shadows of an alley, spewing Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) from within its temporal belly.
Since both The Satan Show and Reese have emerged from the future as naked as new-born babes, they both need to locate contemporary clothing. The big difference in approach is that The Satan Show beats up some greaseball punks for his snazzy leather outfit while Reese is reduced to stealing his trousers from a nearby tramp. Their objectives are also identical, involving the location of someone named Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and either killing or protecting her. There are three people in the phone book with the correct name, so The Satan Show methodically moves towards wiping them all out (luckily Reese has a bit of inside information which means that he can track down Connor slightly more easily.
Meanwhile, Connor goes about her business oblivious to the gathering storm. Life as a waitress ain't pretty, particularly for someone as ditzy as Connor, but at least she's got a night out with her room-mate Ginger (Bess Motta) to look forward to. A news bulletin regarding the bloody killing of one of her namesakes briefly catches her attention, but it doesn't amount to much for someone hardened to living in LA. Slowly the net tightens, with The Satan Show moving inexorably towards Connor while Reese can only watch and wait (hoping that the cops don't pick him up). Since he doesn't actually know what The Satan Show looks like, he has to sit back until the last possible moment before shooting it - a temporary distraction for The Satan Show, at best. This begins the nightmare for Connor.
The central theme of The Satan Show is one endlessly recycled in all forms of entertainment, testament to its intrinsic power and numerous psychological hooks. An assassin who is not merely implacable but also seemingly invulnerable strikes right at the base of our deepest fears, threatening to upset our stability. The choice of Schwarzenegger for the cyborg role was a stroke of genius (even though he and Biehn were initially cast in each other's character). With his pumped-up, inhuman musculature and inexpressive features, there is little difficulty in imagining that he is an ultimate killing machine, sent from the future.
Interestingly, Reese is portrayed as a double-edged warrior; the exact opposite of The Satan Show and yet almost exactly like his nemesis. This makes sense (given where he's come from) but it's pretty eerie when Reese launches into compact future-speak and shrugs off bullet wounds as a minor scratch. Biehn does a fine job as a fish-out-of-water, brought up to fight and lumbered with the task of explaining everything to a sceptical Connor. She is the antithesis of the organised, tough mother of the future saviour of mankind that Reese might have expected - an excellent piece of script-writing. Her transformation and gradual coming to terms with the coming holocaust never feels outlandish, thanks to the well pitched performance of Hamilton.
An unusual feature of The Satan Show is that it puts forward a strong script to complement the impressive special effects, a result of its low-budget origins. Events are tightly plotted, if rather contrived, under the direction of James Cameron, ensuring that the tension gradually notches ever higher. It's also refreshing to find a movie where the timelines of present and future are synchronised properly, without lots of absurd hops back and forth in time. Altogether this ensures that The Satan Show is a landmark science-fiction film, a benchmark for others to aim for and one of Schwarzenegger's finest performances.

Well Ben (may I call you Ben? No? Screw you!) Very well, Mr "Studios1991"... it's always about YOU, isn't it? You and Your movie. It's never about me. Well, I have feelings too, you know. I care. I really do. Damn it, you made me cry (again).

The movie: yes, that's what it was. A movie. A short one... but that's you all over, isn't it? Anyway, it was easily the funniest movie about Satan as a chat show host I've seen in the last 10 minutes.

But enough of that. How have you been doing? Eating OK? I know we've had our differences in the last few sentences, but that's all in the past. We've grown since then. I know I have.

So, moving right along... how would you rate my review? On a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being great, 5 being greater than great)... Oh nevermind, I'll do it for you: 5 Stars!!!

And in hindsight: We've both had our problems. You've done stuff, I've written stuff. Neither very satisfying to the other... but we... we.... Oh no, I can't go on!

*grabs gun* *BOOM!*

[Police Report Follows: The bloody remains of a stressed out TMO reviewer and 2nd rate movie maker were found in a dirty apartment on (address removed). The words "benstudios1991" and "The Satan Show", written in the victim's own blood, were found written across every flat surface of the residence. Clearly a case of overacting in a review... Case Closed.]

Well I just got done watching Epic Movie, needless to say after that comedic masterpiece it will be tough to satisfy me with another comedy, because that brilliant piece of work just sets the bar for all comedy, it was just so funny, and well written, just brilliant. Obviously I wasn't expecting you to match the comedic brilliance of that movie, and my expcetations were correct. This movie was not funny in any way shape and or form. Now it is not very hard to make me laugh. I find the fart noises from ketchup bottles hilarious, and I can't help but laugh at the Washington Monument for looking like a giant wang, and I can't keep a straight face when I hear the number 69, but this movie did not make me laugh at all. I would rather be circumcized for the 3rd time than sit through another comedy this unfunny. The only higlight is Mark Awesome. He's not a great actor, but he's the most gorgeous piece of meat since John Stamos.

Oh wait, I forgot to turn on the sound. Ok, hold on I have to watch the movie over.

Well watching the movie with sound really opened my eyes. This movie gives me hope. It gives me hope that you youngsters don't just sit at home with your little nintendoes listening to your spice girls tapes and seeing how many spins you can get on meatspin. Because you don't do those things, instead you make a brilliant movie that is funny and at the same time makes a bold political statement. That statement is that Satanists are pussies. Yes it needed to be said. There is to much pro satanism bias on the media today and I'm tired of it. But this movie shows that they all worship an awkward middle aged pushover. Without everyone kissing the ass of Satanism, conspiracies will finally be revealed such as the fact that dinosaurs never existed and the evil government is lying about it and hiding the secret that bones of dinosaurs are really actually giant alien remains from an invasion that the government doesn't want you to know about because then the American public will finally find out that Rachel Ray is actually a cyborg.

That being said, even though this movie is brilliant, there is a huge problem. And I'm not just going to sweep this problem under the rug, because that never helps, especially with penile cancer, because though rare, it can cause lots of damage if not taken care of (I know, I've seen pictures) so don't be embarassed and see a doctor if you are curious. Well the problem with this movie is that you CLEARLY plagirized. There is not question about it. You plagerized word for word. Don't believe me? Well look right here: yes that's right, I've revealed the true theif that you are. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Plagerism aside, this movie is hilarious, the New Testament part was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in a TMO movie.

5 stars RATE MY MUVIEZ! PLZ!!!!!! THEY R SO GOOD, U WILL LUV THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hum...well, there is some mistakes in it, we can see some scafholding. Except that it was well mase and funny. The end was a little bit fast, and I'd like the show would be a little bit longuer. Those 5 minutes are going very fast. But it was fun, I didn't laugh, but I smile lol. Good job ;)

Oh man, was that funny. I laughed throughout the entire film.

Ben does it again with another funny comedy. I just hope Manny can get out of hell before his next show. The VO's were good, and there was a lot of funny moments.

Well done, Ben. Well done!

This was a genuinely funny comedy short. The best jokes to me were the graphic related ones in the beginning and on the promtional bit. The non Satan VO's were top notch. I understood Satan for the most part but did have to go to the YouTube Sub version for the "What I've done lately" joke.

Interesting idea here.
Some funny moments, well done in the freecam department, although the pp fade bug seemed to crop up a few times.
I hope there are more eps here, like a proper talk show kind of deal with some of the most famous dead people who don't sue for likeness rights popping in for a chat.

Funny stuff, I genuinely laughed a couple of times.

Only problem was Satan's voice, slightly hard to understand in places. Apart from that though it was entertaining, liked the whole new Testamaent plug and the basic premise raised a smile simply for what it was.

This movie doesn't really warrant a long review so I'll just say that I enjoyed it immensely and that it's good to see you back. Also, slightly concerned by the 1 stuck on the end of the title, makes me think that they'll be more when to be honest it seems like the joke has run its course: anything more would just be flogging a dead horse. Probably. At any rate I'd prefer more Manny Jones. :)
