This was to be my entry into the Passion contest. The film ran to long so I am releasing it as a normal
addition to my slate.

Crime fiction was allways my favorite, but I have not done one in several years. Scratch is my first
crime movie.

I had alot of technical problems with this movie, half the overlays I made needed to be scraped.
For awhile I wasnt sure if it would get released at all.

Having said that, I am very happy with the final result regardless. I think this is my best movie
yet.

I want to thank Harb for the inspiration to write this movie.

The first 2mins of the film was generally deep. I loved how he compared a small bug on a ceiling living his life, in such a simple way as in avoiding death & being smarter than humans; very deep the cinematography and understanding of scene was great. I loved the opening credits; how it transitions how/after they rob the bank, it introduces the characters well, and that AK going off was so hot, the whole bullet whole thing was great. That just the first 6mins!!!! The main character is very cool, his swagger is like a young Johnny Travolta in Pulp Fiction/Get Shorty. He has a cold but intelligent demenor, watching him and Naomi work like a new age Bonnie&Clyde. They have a awesome Love/Hate relationship.
Final Thought- The modding was simply fantastic. A sad movie, the ending gun fight was so crazy. No Lie-One of the best movies I ever seen on TMO. It has one of the best stories, and the very best screenplays ever!!!!!!

Cody Savage makes this movie what it is. This is the first review ive written because i have never really like many other movies i have seen. The beggining was a little slow and confusing but it kept u interested. Plus the last couple of movies were to die for. Great action and sound effects. The pinnacle of crime films is embodied here at TMO in George_Locust??s hard hitting and glorious ?? Scratch ??. Unerringly beautiful to watch and a thrill ride of senseless mayhem it becomes a poem of gritty gory brilliance. George has taken what tools he has in the game and pushed them beyond the limit which is what a brilliant artist can do. You have to have a vision to do this to see beyond what it there. You have to be a dreamer too, a maker of myths and a darn good story teller. This has to be in my top ten films of the year. Sure to please and thrill everyone who sees it.

The screenplay is obviously written by one who has the ear for dialog. Droll and at times hilariously funny! A more perfect screenplay does not come to mind. Nothing is left to chance in the writing and no dramatic stone unturned. The editing was a lesion in how to cut film like a master. Direction was top notch by a filmmaker who wins respect with every camera setup.

The acting is incredibly subtle. It shines and sings like a gangster aria that had me shouting bravo from my theater seat. Who are these incredible actors? Where did they come from? They all inhabited the souls of their characters beyond what I ever expected to see here. The two leads were the embodiment of what movie dreams are made of.

The music too was perfect and used sparingly but with great effect. The whole experience of watching this film invigorated and inspired me. I only wish I had half the talent and vision of George_Locust.

?? Scratch ?? is a truly honest and real film that should be remembered and studied as a classic of not only TMO but of movies in general. It is pure movie going magic. If the streets weren't so mean I would be dancing in them right now.

I am officially a fan, i have enjoyed your other works, but this is the one that makes me a fan. This movie kicked an abundance of ass! From this point on, i will watch anything you make, i don't care if it's entitled "Barney and Care Bears forever", i will gladly watch it wearing a "Number 1 fan" hat and a little league chest protector. Fantastic film.

I'm going to buy you a wallet GL. It's going to be the one that says Bad Mother ****** on it, in case anyone doesnt know or they forget.

Well done. I was all set to write a long and detailed reveiw, then it occured to me. You already get it. You know whats what, so no need for me to tell you, you already put 2 and 2 together.

THIS is how you do this within the game and without an outside editor. This is an example of making it work. Again, bravo. Like William Friedkin said:

"Style is something that's extremely important, but it must grow naturally out of who and what you are and what the material calls for. It cannot be superimposed."
-William Friedkin

Me thinks you get this.

...?
I really think this looks nothing like a Tarintino flick at all...but none-the-less, this movie kicked some serious ass.
The only problem was since two people were doing all the VO's some of the people sounded the same.
But the story was sweet.
The music was cool.
And the action scenes were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Damn...people gettin blown aprt and crazy car crashes and shootouts and stuff.
Sweet work dude.
Hope you make another crime flick!

George Locust does Quentin Tarantino? Very entertaining movie. Awesome use of MOD??s and the free cam works was just killer (haha). The music initially was a bit repetitive but at the end it really enhanced the story. Speaking of the story, this was really well written. I absolutely loved the opening monolog about the bug on the ceiling. Great writing on that and nicely acted too by the way. As for the action sequences, well I??ve said it before and I??ll say it again?nobody does action like George Locust. Nobody!

Longer than the average, but better than the average! The entire 22 min experience was pretty easy-to-watch, with a well structured dialogue and good VOs. However, the sound and music work could have been better, by matching the soundtrack with the environment a bit more appropriately. 4/5

Probably the greatest movie ever released on TMO. It was an instant masterpiece. The music was great, the violence was the most brutal I've seen on TMO, and the story was extremely well written. I can't imagine how long it took to make. This is what I hope my movies will be like. It was superbly edited, and the VO's were excellent. This is definately a must see!

A very impressive array of special effects, editing, and plot. The plot arch is very memorable and the wow factor plays heavily in the final 3 minutes. Reminded me a bit of True Romance only none of the characters presented much in the way of a heart of gold. Very nice work.

Simply amazing. TMO has been lacking a lot of good crime movies lately, and this one could be the greatest crime movie on TMO. The mods and effects were the star of the show here, along with the voice acting. I understand how hard it is to make a long and good movie like this, along with the mods with it. That's why I'm giving you a 5. Bravo-Zulu!

Ye Gods.

I am astounded by this wonderful film. Disturbingly satisfying, with a wonderful Tarantino-esque twist, deftly executed and extraordinarily artful.

This is a craftsman's How-To manual for TMO Filmmakers. Your action sequence is hands-down the BEST I have seen on TMO, bar none. Absolutely None.

You're an inspiration, George - I bow down to you.

Outstanding. There are live-action films at the box office right now that don't have the level of detail and depth of plot that Scratch does. It's clear that a ton of work has gone into every frame of this brilliant crime drama. I would regard Scratch as TMO's latest benchmark-setting film. Anyone trying to make high-quality movies using TM right now could learn a lot from you, GL.

I can honestly say that this is probably the best film i have yet seen on TMO. usually i tend to avoid film of a long length because the dramatic parts are often dull and the action sequences very uncinematic.

You have managed to overcome a lot of the games many weaknesses and produce a movie that is watchable by anybody not just a fan of the game or of machinema. The voiceovers were mostly excellent and well acted and sound effects spot on bar a few occasions where i felt it was lacking.

All in all an excellent, intelligent film with great visual flare that deserves all the accolades it recieves and i hope to see more of this quality of work in the future.

I give you 4 out of 5 because although it is probably the best work ive seen it is not perfect and only a perfect movie should score a 5.

Good luck on all future projects.

Wonderfully written and superbly shot, this crime film is hard, gritty and entertaining. Thrilling at times and also subtle which highlights your versatility in writing and editting. Your cast did a terrific job and give their counterparts good characterisation.

I loved your use of music which not only gelled with the film but was used in a balanced way. It didnt stand out too much or fade into the background, it went hand in hand with the plot as the story progressed.

As a relative new film-maker you have already sealed your armada of fans and provided us with numerous films that have all turned out exceptionally well. This film is no exception. I only wish I had seen it sooner.

You wowed us with El Dorado and Amazon, and now you have done it yet again unsuprisingly. You are a breath of fresh air for TMO and I am so grateful to be able to see your talents on here. I wish you the very best luck in future projects although I am certain you don't need it :-), I wait for your next film and I hope to one day collaborate with you on future projects. Until then....

Nuke Well & Scratch in the Amazon of El Dorado!

Really nice movie with some great overlays in the action scenes and a little bit Natural Born Killers touch. Of course - the movie was very long and therefore it has his length, but nonethles this movie was very interesting to watch and a great entertaining. A special compliment to the music which was really very stylish. You didn't used it that much as it seems to me, but when you did - oh, very effective! The quality of the vos was more or less good. I found the voice of the black hair girl not that good - as well some characters could have spoken more emotional. For example the fat guy where they both break in.
Anyway, a great action movie, refreshing overlays, nice plot and amazing music score.

This is most definitely a flawed masterpiece. There is just so much here, both good and bad. The acting was serviceable. Some of the female VO's were a little less convincing, and there is also a general lack of emotion here, especially for the tense situations your characters find themselves in. The opening scene was brilliant. That was great dialogue which was very reminiscent of Richard Linklater. Your direction and cinematography is above average. You are very brave, and you tried out several different techniques which are seldom utilized on TMO. Some of the angles you used simply weren't very cinematical. I know you were going for the extreme, but they should not detract from the viewing experience. For example, the first few freeze frames didn't work, because they were too long or awkward. You should have VO or something during freezes like that. Now the one at the end, when the protagonist is shot, that one was very appropriate, and well executed. The action scenes were all fantastically well done and your special effects were amazing. I really appreciated the way you were simultaneously stylish and trashy. The real reason why I am giving you five stars is the story. It is very complex and very Tarantino-esque. You show us scenes that we don't usually see in movies like this, and for that you should be commended.

Dany and Cole - aka the Bonnie and Clyde of TMO. This is a dark gritty hard hitting movie in the vein of some other TMO movies such as Babar??s Hitman, Masterbeck??s Ordinary Day, Steelcity4eva??s Blessed are the Peacemakers, Nukester??s Fire and Forget series, Butchered??s Bloodshot. All of these movies make no excuses or try to sugar -coat their presentation.

Artistic, poetic, cinematic. This is a well done project. The two are in a love/hate relationship where the love of money and the seduction of violence keeps the two together. The characters are painted through their actions , just as we get to almost finding some redeeming qualities they resort back to their hard line. The ??bug?? soliloquy is great. Cole??s temper shown perfectly in the bar situation riveting. The scene with Dany in the car looking at the keys well done. Great script and great cinematography. Excellent use of free cam. You and Ash did a great job in the voice acting department. Hard gritty music matched the atmosphere perfectly. Top it off with the incredible mods and painstaking overlay and sound effect work.

Critique:
Some will not be fans of the music. I think it works well and I always enjoy personal creations. The flaws in the pieces are what keeps it real. The guitar chord piece may have been used a bit much in the beginning. It creates a running dialogue and theme, but you don??t want music to be a distraction.

The black screen is effective once, but using it more and for longer than a few seconds becomes noticeable, if it is not intended to do be that noticeable then you can shorten those areas - I know it went with the phone conversation, but it was a long one.

The bullet sequence will be taken plus and minus. I know the work that went into it and I know there are many overlays which you could not put in your film cause they didn??t work well. I thought you did an excellent job with this. For me a plus.

Overall:
Great dialogue, excellent voice acting, superb special effects, great soundtrack, and hard hitting action, makes this film a must see. It does start off slow, but heats up to a full boil and the audience is in for a real treat. Excellent work here.

This is another long movie with a great story, special effects/overlays and excellent usage of the free cam. There was only one problem that I had while viewing this...the dialogue. Although very well written, I couldn't really feel the characters the way it should have been at different points. It just seemed to lack the intensity that needed to be there at different points, you know what I mean? The both were just too soft spoken, and even if trying to develop that laid back criminal sort of deal, it was still a bit soft, almost as if it wasn't really anything to them to make them so dangerous, you know? I figure for the next time, maybe a little more changes in the voice tones and accent certain points to make it flow a little better, just as a suggestion, although I still have yet to make a VO kind of movie. I'm still learning myself. LOL

I will still give this 5 just because it was a great all around movie. Just keep my suggestion in mind for future projects. :) Bravo!!!

Other than that, it was

No doubt this had the feel of an actual motion picture. I think the highlight has to be the modding here. Some of those SFX were outstanding! The subtle blood sprays, flare from the guns, etc. All great. Then the final fight was a great way to end the film. I didn't think the VO fit the main character but it didn't take away from the film at all. I thought this was a great piece of work!

While it was the longest movie I've ever watched on TMO, it was one of the most entertaining. I loved the final gunfight, and I thought that the intro was done pretty well. The mods were used excellently and you had a pretty good story going. I had a few problems with the movie. Firstly, the intro guitar music was cool, but the end song was horrible in my opinion. My second problem is the voice overs. Although they were done pretty well, I just didn't really feel drawn into the dialogue of the story. This goes especially for the main character, I didn't feel that he was intimidating or threating. Honestly, I think he sounded like Michael Jackson after a few smokes, which doesn't add to the mood you were trying to set. I wish I could've given this movie 5 stars though.

Excellent. Just excellent. This movie had all the style and feel of a professional Hollywood film. I can't compare it as others have to Bonnie and Clyde or Tarantino's films, as I haven't seen any of those. I did get a somewhat "High Sierra"-ish vibe, albeit much more violent and modern. The action was great, realistic and bleak. Some of the overlays were a bit too static, and broke the suspension of disbelief a tad, but you did the best you could with what you had. The dialogue was great, and the characters believable. Near-perfect use of Free Cam as well. All in all, this shows all the signs of greatness. One of the best movies I've ever seen on TMO. Two thumbs way up.

That was great, it had a proper 'movie' feel to it. The scene flowed seamlessly and the mods , overlays etc were fantastic. Voice overs were good and fitted the roles well. A very well thought out a brilliantly executed piece, with an involving storyine. Nice work

Really good. You are the master of the free cam. The shots in the bank were terrific. Awesome gun scene. I have no idea how you did a lot of that. The song in the final scene was the only downer in the movie. (Sounded like a dog howling). A great effort. Everyone involved should be complimented.

When I saw this was 22 minutes plus, I knew I was going to drift off somewhere down the line--just goes to show I don't know everything. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Extraordinary pacing and what a custom animation fest that was (and you still kept that darn sound synch bug at bay). Loved those action sequences. The story was also very nicely developed, with great characters and motivations. Very professionally done. I mustn't forget to mention the beautifully appropriate music as well (although the tune at the intro was repeated one too many times in succession). The sound effects were a brilliant enhancement as well. I also felt a Tarantino influence in this piece (due in part to the music style, and also the wonderfully paced and shot action sequences--generously sprinkled with blood). Did I also spot an homage to Sidy's "Extreme Taxi" in there? Nice touch.

OMG, awsome shootout! This has to be one of the best crime movies to ever hit TMO, or the one I've watched. The effects were amazing, nice editing, and a kick ass story. Great movie man, defininatly want to see more from you.

This movie showed a lot of promise and of course, style. As Jase mentioned and illustrated with his apt quote, this cannot be bought, and you do have a ton of it GL. The music score which consisted primarily of a "less is more" aproach guitar sountrack with poignant vocal.. worked very, very well.Kusos to
Naitzmic for that work.

I loved the voice acting, the monologue about the bug at the top was brilliant... I would have kept that a cast of 2 (ash 53 and GL)and perhaps added maybe 2 more versatile actors that can also double roles. This would have injected more dynamics into the demanding performance of this well writen dialogue.

Psst.. call me.. ;)

great job again, slap me on your PM list... I was a tad late at spotting this one.

A great movie!

Best gunfight scene I have seen so far on TMO that part was really something special and that pulls this movie to an outstanding performance.
Also the ideas with the music in the early parts of the movie was very good and original.

Deserves all the stars I can give and more...great work! :)

Great!

Great story, the music fitted perfectly, I loved the freecam use and the editing and special effects - that shootout scene was done to perfection and had such a "real" feel to it! The sound effects were great also and the vo´s very well done, although (and this is my only very minor complaint)I think it would have been nice if some of the smaller roles had be done by other actors..

Great work, a classic! Bookmarked!

This has to be the most entertaining, most intense, most enjoyable film of the summer.

I have seen your other movies and this has to be your greatest work.

The plot was gripping, I was dying to find what happens next, the free cam and editing was the best I have seen on TMO since the Oh Its On series, and it took my breath away.

The VO's while clear, didn't sound varied, maybe this was too big of project for just you and ash, but the dialogue was strong.

The music was perfect, it was just right for every scene and the end battle was outstanding, maybe of the best end battles on TMO.

Overall, this is outstanding film and we all look forward to next project.

Okay...the movie it self is what would have gotton this 5 stars...the plot was pretty good if not predictable. I also enjoyed the VOs a lot even if they did need some touching up. The effects were supereb as always and that final gun fight really way astounding. But here is the problem...no offence to Naitzmic but the music was horrible...I almost couldn't bear it at some points I mean I like every type of music but that...eew! Well next time try to get some music from Ric_Vargard or Flanagan's Fog or maybe some Snowdog...also you could try and get David Ben Shannon to score it for you..

I really really really wanted to give it 5 I really did! but that music...

4 Stars

Wow, wow, wow...that movie was incrediable...very sad...very caughty, some of your mod work was incrediable and breath taking. the click droping from the gun, the reload with the shotgun...

I would have given it 4 stars, but everything else was too good, and it was worth sitting through 22 mins of it.

great character devolopment and camera angels

ok my issues with it...

first off, the music in the begining was annoyingly repeative. and the voice acting was perfect in some scenes, but lacking emotion in others.

I think the way the two leads where voiced where perfect for the most part, and the cop was really good, some of the others where monatone.

but the rest of it was awesome. well done

A superb piece of work.

The dynamic between the Bonnie and Clyde characters was superb - I loved their Pulp Fiction-style banter in the car.

This was TMO's best film at emulating the dark side of the American Dream that has seen such great films as "True Romance" and the aforementioned "Pulp Fiction".

So many great scenes in this film on a character based level - but, even in the most brief of the action scenes, you actually felt you were hit by the bullets! The editing was brilliantly immediate, often accompanied by an extremely brief special effect - demonstrating this filmmaker's dedication to the story above all other considerations.

The set-piece finale was simply brilliant - all the elements combining seamlessly into TMO's best ever shootout!

Naitzmic did a good job with the music - although, he should have dropped his final song down one tone - sounded a bit strained on the high notes!

A classic TMO crime film - I can give no greater praise than that.

OH MY GOD, GEORGE LOCUST! I have seen a lot of movies on TMO, but this is by far THE BEST!!! I don't know HOW you could have made this movie any better using TM. It was amazing!

Once again, I loved this movie!!!

WOW!!! I oved it. You did amazing. 2 thumbs up.

First things first...
George_Locust does it again.

I can tell that you really enjoyed working on this project and that you have been wanting to do a crime films for a while, which really showed in the movie.
Once again, your overlays were absolutely fantastic; creative and ingenious. You really made new scenes happen with them which hyped up this adrenalin packed feature even more.

What I think really made this movie work was the pacing. As you can probably tell, I like it when film-makers don't try to cram too much too quickly; you paced it absolutely perfectly. Enough for the story to be told, the characters to be developed, the wonderfully dressed settings to be established and the action to be delivered. I'm the kind of person that loves a developing story with a bit of action (if any), and you concocted the perfect mix. You didn't try to do too much, and you didn't do too little. You set the movie out flawlessly, accompanied by some fantastic shots.

One thing I have learned from you, is that you have visions for a scene that you'll create; game limitations or not, you visually express yourself in the most creative and clever shots. The opening scene, for instance with Cole talking on the bed, introducing the story, the shots of Dany and Cole wondering through the "Ghost Town", the fight sequences, Dany spinning Cole around in the bar... the list goes on, and I like that in a film-maker because I'm exactly the same way. F the limitations of the game, we'll get the scene we want... one way or another, and your overlays define that.
The editing however seemed a little jumpy at times and wasn't very smooth (like in the bar, Dany has a sad face then instantly jumps to a neutral expression), but they were very well and cleverly chosen and well constructed, as mentioned before.

The decision to take the perspective of the antagonist was certainly a clever one on your behalf; it made for a more interesting story and the fact that the dialogue between you and ash carried out so well, impacted upon me as a viewer that drew me in to the characters and the overall premise of the story. At the beginning, I didn't know what was in for, but after the opening sequence with the carefully and very well selected music, I began seeing the cops as the real antagonists in the story, even though they were dastardly (especially Dany). After the final twist, I shouted a word I dare not mention (also don't want any spoilers) at my screen.
Drawing me into a story so much... A TMO story mind you, deserves a huge bonus, but again it's all thanks to the pacing of the film.
If this ran for half as long, there is no way it would've carried the same impact and effect on me.
That's why longer movies work.

That final scene, in my opinion, will be the most memorable scene for me in TMO history. I will always remember that showdown scene for a variety of reasons...
The shots accompanied by the mellow music as they entered, the kick-ass overlays, the fact that you used my two sets in one technique (:D), the twists and turns that turned me around in my chair, and especially the fact that it was almost like a modernized western showdown scenes.
I love westerns, and a cleverly conceived modernized showdown in a ghost town with shotguns and Uzi's and rifle's really put the icing on the cake for me. That's when I thought to myself, "Holy smokes, this guy's good."

One minor complaint however had to be some of the voiceovers. The cop that pulled them over, for instance, had a real fuzzy voice and I could tell that you tried to conceal your voice, or the voice of Cole's. Even though yourself and ash carried out the film with brilliant acting, a casting call would've worked a lot better.
Also, on one of the overlays in the showdown scene, one of the background cars changed for a second then went back, which distracted me a little bit. You gotta watch out for those alternating goofs in overlays; make sure you always save after you take one so you don't have to go back and try to change things around as to how they were.
But of course, these were only minor and didn't really deter the overall quality of the film.

I believe that you loved what you were doing, and that was demonstrated on-screen in this awesome action flick which offered everything. Your overlay work has vastly improved from El Dorado, and can only get better from here.
You are a very talented director, and I strongly believe that you have the potential to go far should you choose to pursue this career, both on TMO and in real-life. Again, I commend you for such a job-well done, and I highly respect you as a fellow film-maker.

Very slow but really good effects, i kmow how you did them and i know its a carfull and long proccess.
I know what you where trying to make the film like and it worked ok but missing something. The music made the atmosphere soppy but was good music though.
The effects in this are of high standared, i'm spewing you where the first to do them, oh well i'll have to settle for second. Good job.

I'm not going to talk about the cinematic angles, cutting and opening. I'm not going to talk about the spacing of the credits and the clever use of overlays (bar). It's a moot point. You obviously know how to cut a flick. I am going to mention that the VOs and dialogue were exceptional in the Scuzz vein. My ex-father-in-law talked exactly like the lead even down to the "rules" manifesto. Great poster as well. Entertaining. Faved.

This was a hard movie for me to watch and even harder to be objective with a review for reasons I will state later.

The Good:
Where to start? A top notch action/drama movie worthy of high praise.
The voices were very good and well thought out. Very professional.
The mods and overlays were excellent. Great job to you and all the modders. You put them all to good use.
The special effects, sound effects and music were all incorporated nicely.
The music used was above par. The hard music was a bit harsh but did fit the mood at the time. The songs in the middle and the end were excellent. Made you part of the action. They didn't overpower the scene or mood but complimented it.

As far as passion, LOVE is a great emotion. It can be good or bad depending on the circumstances. The love of a brother (or sister) and wanting to help them and do right for them is very powerful. You showed that with this movie. ANd greed is also very powerful. That was also shown very prominently.

The Bad:
His ambivalence about killing a cop was shown and played out rough but weak at the same time. He was upset about one killing but didn't think twice about doing it a second time. AAlmost as if it was something he enjoyed and regretted at the same time.

Overall:
An excellent movie that I wish could have been entered into the PASSION contest but...........
As for the difficulty I had. The scene with the traffic stop and the killing -- that hit a little close to home for me since last month we lost a veteran police officer who was shot and killed during a (what should have been)routine stop. This happened about 4 blocks from my home and the gunman was found about 500 yards from my apartment. Sgt. Fabiano died because someone couldn't handle being stopped. It was a tragic loss for our community. With that said, I had to watch the movie twice and think real hard to be truly objective.

You di the scene tastefully in the sense that you didn't become gruesome about it. I thank you for that.

Great job on this film and your hard work paid off. I am sure this will make it very high in the charts and become a HOT PICK for the front page soon.

Cool, Cool, COOL!
That was one hell of a ride! Cool overlays man. Those blood effects were tight and so were those boxes that blew up. That was great. Wish I could make those!!! Anyway, I loved the whole speech in the beginning, great dialogue there. I felt it was a little lengthy in the middle with them in the car and stuff, but it wasn't too bad. Although I could tell the same voice was used over again, it was still plausible and it worked actually pretty well. The music overall was very unique and good. I felt that the last song sounded really strained... the vocalist that is. Oh, one question though...
I did not get why he goes up and kisses her after she starts a gunfight with the men. Wasn't she the reason his brother was just killed?!?!! That didn't make sense to me at all. Other than that, everything fit very well and flowed smoothly. Great job at the crime film. I think you can do any freakin' genre you want. Magnificent film.

Well I'm not sure I understand it all because I'm not so good in english lol. But the technical part was good. As norriefpb said, why kidnap the redneck? it makes no sense...or I miss something...
Anyway, becarefull to the scafholding as I saw some (in car sequence for exemple). There was a moment in the movie without music...I was bored at this moment, some are not agree, but as I always said, I think music is very important to set the atmosphere in a movie (even if some true genious are able to set a great atmosphere without music but only with ambient sound).
I really like your shooting and blood effect! How did you do it? is that only overlays? I want them!!!
I liked the final sequence, the music was good, the gun sound were good, in fact almost everything was good.
See you on your next adventure :)
So I rate this move 4.5/5--so 5 stars.

Well, i definately thought that this was an awesome movie! I wish that it could have been submitted into the passion contest, but it would not have been near as good if it were cut. Nobody!

Great vo's brought the leads to life. Enjoyable intereactions between the two helped move the story. Enjoyed the still shots for empasizing certain sequences in the film(i.e. getting shot).
Nice melding of sets in the subway for the bathroom changing scene. Thought the glasses disappearing off the girl in the bar was an oversight. Double checked and saw the overlay removal, very nice. That was a great shootout sequence for the end of the movie, very well done and executed. Sucker is the only word I can come up with for that guy though...lol

Great story and yet another improvement in your moviemaking. The skills you've learned in this film can only help your future releases(scarily enough ;) )

That was pretty good. I really liked the opening monologue, well performed. I wasn't too fond of the music during the robbery, got repetitive real quick, annoyingly so to my ear. I'm still not sure why they had to kidnap the red necks. They stole the truck so they could drive somewhere to get a taxi? ( liked the shout out to Sidy there btw)
I thought the last act was really well shot (no pun intended), and thought it was a good song, fitted well. I thought that one of them was going to shoot the other, but I still wasn't sure right up to the gun shot. Nicely done.
