I love this series!!! Holy crap! What a suspenseful tale. Okay, I know I sound like what my daughter would call a Fanboy, but jeez that was good. Once again I was drawn in to the story with my mouth agape waiting for the next scene, and then just like that it??s over. You are one of the best storytellers on TMO and your characters have a life of their own. Do you actually write this stuff or have they taken over? It??s hard to tell.

Great voice acting, freecam, editing, and music. It??s hard to find fault in a series I enjoy so much!

I knew this was a great series from the initial episode, and now with episode three out, it has yet to disappoint. Wonderful characters, a riveting storyline, and nail-biting intrigue serve to propel this tale through dark twists and surprising turns. I love the cliffhanger ending (I must be into S&M). A fantastic job, as always, and I look forward to seeing more of this mystery unravel in episode four.

WOW! I only start a review with that word if the film is extraordinary and this film is just that. I love this series as much as I love the restless dead series. This episode was my favorite of the three and each is getting better exponentially.
Your direction is flawless. The story and dialogue is so well written it's chilling in it's realism.
The voice cast again brings the characters to life. Rysto again steals the show with his top notch acting.

It's brilliant evolution of the plot, everything's so natural. I like the way you avoided showing the moment when Ryan was supposed to seat with his friend, cause , as I remember, there was not an approperiate scene in TM. The doctors of Raven High are moving along they evil plan, it seems like they may win...

I found only one mistake - Isabelle is wearing white suit when she talks with Ryan, but it changes to black in rest of her appearance.A few clicks on the color arrows short, I guess :)

A FREDTHEDUCK REVIEW

Plot: 15/15 - the best in the series so far. Definitely.

Suspense: 9/10 - as with the two before, there's not a lot of room for suspense, but. . .yeah, you've read this part before.

Scary Rating: 9/10 - That is playing with my head, even more so than the first two.

VOs: 15/15 - spot on.

Custom content: 14/15 - other than costumes and a couple of sets, I barely recognised anything. Thats a great thing, because it makes your movies look more fresh, and different to others.

Editing: 15/15 - you know what i think. 15/15 is very hard to acheve wih editing, and you are good enough to pull it off.

Music/sfx: 9/10 - I thought I recognised a few of the sounds there. . . but otherwise, as good as the first two, if not, better

The wow factor: 10/10 - yup. Awesome.

TOTAL: 96% - 5 star!

"What I want for you to do is scream....can you do that for me?"

The Good:
The saga continues.
The music, the voices, everything.

The Bad:
Your making us wait through another part?

Overall:
Once again, a great film. Can't wait for the next part.

The continuation of a very captivating series that has yet to let me down. It truly seems that these episodes will only get better and better. You have an All-star Cast that any TMO director would envy, and your writing abilities are on par with some of TMO's best. Can't wait for the next installment.

Bring it on.

Tainted Souls 3 is another excellent episode in this wonderfully written series. Each episode leaves you wanting more, and now that I'm all caught up with the series, I have to try and be patient for the next episode. This episode was really no different from the others in terms of the VO, music, and story are all top notch. The diffence in this episode is that basically things start to heat up. I really can't wait to see how things progress from here. There are mysteries still to be solved and in the meantime more questions begin to arise. Just fabulous work here once again.

This saga keeps getting better and better.

Most other directors ,not to say any names(cough--me--cough), star a series and either don't finish it or the end up makeing them worse and worse. You, on the other hand, make each ep. worth watching.

I liked the VOs in this one. I felt that everyone did a good job all though the voice of Director Mattis seemed to have a lot of gaps in it. I don't know if that because of the editing or because thats just how he was suposed to talk. Either way it wasn't too big of a problem.

The pacing of the movie was good too. Nothing seemed to drawn out or anything like that. Even the intro that explained what happened in the last two movie seemed to be to the point. Even though it was a long (4 mins to explain what happened in the first two) it only told info that was relevant to what was going to happen in this one.

Over all it is the best one so far and i am looking forward to the next one. When the next one is finished you know where to send it.

So... Finally I reviewed it... Sorry for that... :-(

A "Previously on..." is always a good idea, especially at episodes like Tainted Souls! It was really long, but it's much better than there wouldn't be an "Previously on...". ;-)
The story become more mysterious! What are "them"? Why he can see "them"? Is he crazy or are "they" real? I hope this will be answered in upcoming episodes. How many episode there'll be? I hope a lot! xD
Editing & voice-over are great! Soundtrack harmonies in background.
There's no bad thing mentionable.

What can I say. The only thing I can really say is sorry on my part for leaving my review so late, but for me it was definetly worth the wait.

This installment was as exciting, and gripping as the previous two, if not more so, and the atmosphere created was brilliant. I think it was a smart move to make this movie double the length too, as it had more depth and tension. The VO cast all played their roles with honesty and emotion, and that reflected in the brilliant dialogue.

The story is still very mysterious and we're left at another cliffhanger, and I eagerly anticipate the next installment.

Keep up the good work!...

So now I've just sat and watched part three, and suprisingly the best yet. Once again you've still held a hell of a lot of stuff back, in most series by this stage when I know so little I would have got frustrated and perhaps given up on the series. Yet I can't do that with this series as I love it so much. The characters once again have developed before my very eyes and the personal journeys they seem to be going on are truly brilliant. I especialy love Artorious as Doctor Vincent, definately one of the best villains on the site at the moment. The nice cliffhanger involving him is genuinely sinister and it will be interesting to see what happens next in that sequence. The movie also seems to be the most defined and developed of the three so far. The first movie was the initial set up of the characters and storyline, it did so beautifuly. The second movie developed the story a bit further, but if truth be told not a lot really happened of importance (well seemingly not of importance to this point) until the ending, and of course the introduction of Mattis. This movie however seemed to bring in a lot of important stuff for the series. I am pretty sure Isabel is going to have a much larger role in the future, Sally is turning out to be a lot nastier than expected, do I detect the hint of a future betrayal? Vincent is just awaiting a big comeuppance I am sure of it, Mattis has a few tricks up his sleeve that he will use in future instalments I am sure, and I am pretty sure The Cleaner is going to be vital to the rest of the series. Anyway that's the things I picked up from the movie, probably I have got it all completely wrong, but who cares as this series is absolutely fantastic and I cannot wait for the next instalment!

The acting in this movie improved once again. Its a shame JosephKw didn't make an appearance in the movie, albeit in the previously section. But other characetrs got to step into the limelight. Postmodernchuck especially had a much larger role in this entry, a good thing too as I really find his performance to be utterly brilliant. Dulci's character I am finding especially interesting to watch because I think there is a lot more to her character than meets the eye. Anyway the series biggest acting strength still comes from the lead villains, who are so well acted and so well villainous they're a joy to watch. Artorious is clearly having fun playing Vincent and it was nice to see him really do some quite sinister stuff in this movie, he's kind of the Darth Vader of this series I suppose, my god he's not Ryan's father is he? K4ownzall is also doing a great job as Mattis, who I am certain is going to be the big bad guy of this series. I've mentioned the acting without even talking about the lead character! Well Rysto still carries on playing the lead impeccably so, like the other actors I am sure he's going to get some pretty heavy and emotional stuff in the next entry or entries, so it will be interesting to see how well he handles it. Judging from these performances he is definately going to be more than able to play the role to perfection.

The storyline as I mentioned has definately developed in this movie, to the extent I am now gagging for the next instalement. That cliffhanger has to be the best you've done in this series so far. Also I liked the introduction of new characters, The Cleaner, Trent etc. All of which I hope to see in future instalments, especially The Cleaner as I think he's quite an interesting character in his all too brief screen time. I like the way you keep expanding the possibilities of what is going to happen, a lot of series corner themselves in the end so that the climax is usualy unsatisfying and expected. Here many things are left open, leaving the audience to imagine what you will think of next, in my eyes that's the best way to make a series like this.

The direction doesn't really need talking about in my eyes. Its the best of the series, the beautiful score is brilliant again, the editing and camera skills are once again up to the very highest standard on this site. I will be cruel and mention one mistake, Isabel's mysteriously costume change, but I won't go on too much about it as that would be cruel and its a mistake that shouldn't be swelled upon as you've perfected every other aspect in this movie.

Overall this is the best entry in an already virtualy perfect series. Cannot wait for the next part, you've definately made a series that will go down in TMO legend.

Sorry for the late review James, a few things spoilt my limited time on the comp! so here I go..

A fantastic Series that boldy goes from strength to strength with each part! This grabs you from the start of Episode I and it starts pulling you in slowly and by the time I start watching Part 2 I am already hooked. This part is probably my favourite so far with fantastic character development and more importantly, an uncertain and unpredictable plot that can go either way which keeps the viewer glued to the screen.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to Part IV!!!!

Wow.

Staggering. The way you build this story up is fantastic. It's so professionally done.
The characters are excellent. I hope the baddies have a slow and sticky end :P You've developed the cast well and have created strong characters who we can feel for. I hope Dr Warner makes it out alive :'( I like him.
I have great expectations for this series. Although you possibly still have many episodes to go make sure it ends with a bang. :) My only worry is that when it ends it burns itself out. A little like restless dead. I felt that you really didn't know how to finish it or that you were tired of it and just wanted the series to finish. That's my opinion anyway.
Perhaps you could cut down the beginning sections in future episodes. I found the summary a bit long and tiresome :/ You can still make these sections exciting and enjoyable but mixing the scenes and dialogue about. Don't use full scenes from the previous parts unless they are quite effective.

Fantastic job mate.
Feed me more :P

Yay excellent third part! Well I must admit that things are getting a little on the long side to me concerning "them"... Hope that part of the story will be developed in the next episode. Well you're taking your time for this (in a scenaristic way)... but you managed to still keep my interest in the story so far... Nothing to say about the editing/directing, great use of the cameras and shots to make longer scenes not annoying. Also great VAs all the way Excellent job on this one... waiting for more!!! :)

Putting into words this well written, well performed, and wonderfully crafted series simply sells it short. All three Tainted Souls episodes are without a doubt MUST SEE films that captures viewers and trasports them into the world of jameseva. As this segment unfolded before me again the twists and turn of events slithered to my delight. At one point I wanted to leave my chair and join in the pushing and shoving. The innocent viewer that has not seen this series from the beginning is who I envy. But for now, "Mr. jameseve", I must demand part 4 and I must demand it at once! EXCELLENT FILM! EXCELLENT SERIES!

Um all the female vo's sounded like the same person, only slight tone veriations could sepperate them but thats ok i knoe they where different vo's. I still find the first to be the best, it was intence, the second was good but slowed down a bit, but this one really slowed down, too much dialoge and not much direction to events. I do feel the dialog needs to go up a notch, not in language. more adult targeting it felt too much like a teen thriller just the way the dialog was. but apart from that it's still a good series, music is good but i think having music right through a film is too much but i think that with all TMO films. i still enjoyed it even though i wrote the above, but that was just my own oppinion. I will be waiting for the rest. Keep on filming on.

Such a cliffhanger! Another great installment into the series, James! The story is becoming more defined and motives more prominent. What is it that Ryan and his father are seeing? Where has his father gone? Are they really crazy or is there something deeper going on? These questions plague the viewer throughout this series.

I was especially happy with the direction and script of this part of the series. Characters and situations were interesting, the storyline is becoming more complex, and as we reach the midpoint of the series we are treated to an awesome array of effects and mysteries yet to solve. The thing that has me a bit worried: how are you going to solve all the mysteries AND top these episodes at the same time without giving away too much too fast? I have no idea, but I know you can shoulder the weight as you near the final parts of the series. Great work, James!

[WARNING! This Review contains some spoilers!]
Holy crap James!!! That was bloody awesome. Each installment just keeps getting more deep and intense!! I love the way you do that. This series so far has been a really ground-breaking series. I thing I loved about the first episode was to me it felt like the mythlogy part of the series. It did tell quite a bit of story, not too much depth yet, you got to know the characters. Which was excellent. And then, in the second installment, there's quite a bit more depth, we know a few characters a lot better. By now, in this third installment, if you're an adoring fan [like me] and you understand what's going on or can at least predict what's gonna happen next, then that's a true sign that each installment is getting better and better. In turns of the plot essentially i mean. Each installment is really top-notch and looks at something we didn't see before, i'll admit that. Each one the last three parts to the series have been very watchable and enjoyable. So congrats!
This new episode was excellent. New characters are introduced, more twists are told, more story is told!! God, it keeps getting better and better. I loved the way that you re-capped the previous episodes at the start.
Very inventive idea. The cast was stunning once again and they all acted exceptionally well!!!! I mean, Chuck, Dulci, Rysto, K4, they're all excellent voice-actors and they bring such realism to this film!!! I also liked the way you started the film with the creative overlays. I loved the additional overlays you put into this film, e.g. when characters would have strange heads popping on and off. The dialogue in this film is really great and so realistic.
The script is hot!! I would love to see this turn into a real-film! This series I mean.
That would be very interesting.
All the characters are excellent. The ending was really intense and quite disturbing. Also, shocking too!!! I loved the way you keep building up the suspense right near the end of this episode, like when Ryan has a fight with Trent, he realises what he really is. "He's one of them" [quote Ryan]. I loved that scene. I loved every minute of this. Especially the scene at the bar with Sally, Paul and Ryan talking about their problems, etc. I loved Dulci's line "So, Ryan. Are you going scream tonight!!! This film was very entertaining, in each episode you've kept building up character development. From watching this episode, quite a few characters have been more or less fully developed, like with the twists, but I still need to see the next episode to be exactly sure, but I think have more or less the just of what's to come!
Despite that I know what's going on with each character now. Thankyou James for one hell of a damn good movie!!! I really enjoyed it. It wasn't too slow, it wasn't boring. It was paced perfectly. I am so excited to see Part 4 now!!!
I can't wait to see what will happen next!!!!
I know it'll be as gripping as the last 3 installments. Well done indeed dude.
Awards: 100% [Excellence award] and two big thumbs up!!!!

I don't know how you do it, I don't want to know how you do it. I'm just so amazed that everytime I watch a Tainted Souls episode you manage to tope the previous ones by a mile.
This one is no exception. The story is continued brilliantly as the true agenda behind Raven Height's director's is revealed and Ryan is caught in a personal struggle between two realities. A thriller story crafted by the king of chills himself.
The VOs were above par. Everyone (usually you can find someone that is below the rest) was just eye popping. I'd especially like to commend K4 for his outstanding performance as the borderline insane mental hospital director. And this goes the same for the music. Ever piece was perfectly in it's place.
This series is shaping up to be one of the bet in TMO history. I don't care if you find yourself losing views over the show because I'll still be watching, and I can't bare to not know what happens. Stupendous job!

Each episode I have the fear that it wont be able to live up to its wonderful predececors. And each time I am wrong, each episode they get better and better. With the wonderful directing, superb voice acting, and skillfully written script what's not to like about Tainted Sould 3? I can't wait for Tainted Souls 4.

I Just wet myself....What an excellent movie, not wait , What an excellent series you have created with this being the best so far...

Where can i start, after the cliffhanger of the first movie , i was dying to find out where was Robert White and how Ryan was coping with his dreams and how can i forget the diary enteries...exicting stuff.

The VA's where on top form, rysto as ryan put in a show stopping performence with Artorious and K4ownzall as the "doctors"...very chilling. Also Dulci and PostModernChuck also great (love Dulci always complianing reminds me of my ex)and the great Mustachio26 and Jennifer Katuna as trent and Mrs Warner...love it

this has to one the best series on TMO we are all looking forward to the next e.p

Well Done
