Film Description
When The Nightmare Is Calling You

Plot : Brigitte, a psychologist, presenter of a radio show, is harassed by mysterious phone calls

this movie IS NOT AN ADAPTATION AT ALL OF ANY BOOK^^ I just got the idea after reading a plot outline on a polar encyclopedia, nothing more;)

Cast
Sisch as Brigitte
Goofparade as René
Josephkw as Jean-Michel
Another_New_Dawn as Alexis
K4ownzall as Jean-Claude
Mustachio26 as the answering machine

Mods available on 8eyedbaby, skinshack, sorry if I cannot give the name of the creators but if you have done it, prevent me, I will add your name!
The garage is just a setdressing on the blue screen

Without the support of all members from this very talented cast who gived life to the english version of this film, and especially without the idea and the awesome translation of Goofparade, this film won't exist for english public.

- The soundtrack list is available on my studio homepage

Best horror movie on TMO?
Probably.

Wow.

That had to have been the smartest, most suspensful, creepy, and amazingly awesome TMO movies I've ever seen.
The charatcers were realistic, and the stalker dude is super creepy. The sets were cool to look at, and the plot was unique and original. And despite it being 20 minutes, I was never even close ot being bored....
Amazing job.

Wow. You captured the dark atmosphere from the word go, with chilling visuals, perfect free-cam, editing etc... To cut a long review short, that was simply damn awesome. The voice acting was top notch by the whole cast, and the film was very professional in its presentation. Stunning set dressing and overlays combined with fantastic editing.

Bloody awesome, I really enjoyed it! I instantly was going to give this film 5 stars after the first few seconds, and if there were 100, I'd give it that too.

Definitely chilling, thrilling and twisted, and it drew me in from the start.
Top notch job here, kudos to yourself and Goofparade for getting the English version up, I really appreciate it, because it was damn fantastic!

You have definitly pleased me with this one Babar. Amazing overlay work you have done here very clear imagery of the plot that helps us see the characters. The Vo cast is amazing they derse to have some vc's given to them they have truly earned it.

Now I want to talk about the overall storyline. It was superbly done, very clear, crisp and magnifique. I really love the whole concept of the story it is very interesting and thought provoking.

Very nice setdressing might I point out. The radio room was just
"awe- inspiring"!.

Overall amazing job Babar23 you earned each of those stars ;)

Ths film was deep and dark in its undertones. Very nice shot choices and use of limited sets. the atmosphere was perfectly set and executed with expert precision.

That was the way i like to see horror films..you dont need to see the violence to feel the tension. well directed, written and most importantly acted.

i cant say enough how good this was.

I'm a sucker for thrillers but this didn't really give much susspence, i liked how you did some came work but the voice of the caller didn't do anything for me, i didn't feel fear or a chill at all. Like uber mentioned some music was copyright, most films are removed for even one copyright item. The film had good intentions but to be a good thriller more work is needed. I will be looking forward to more of your work though, good luck.

Ahhh, the old dream/reality sequence does it again. Nice and suspenceful right up until the clown mask and the circus music, then i started laughing, these things i do not find funny. Tight editing and set dressing with that french style. Great VO actors and i really wanted to give 5 stars, but it loses 2 for clips of "I've got the Power", "Ring of Fire" for they are copyrighted. I know what its like trying to add a sence or realism, but there you have it.

Hello Brigitte~"

This would well be one of the most memorable lines in TMO now for me. A very memorable role for AnotherNewDawn as well! Sisch must have had lots of fun playing both the mother and daughter too!

I loved the VOs, and I loved the story design--it worked and worked very well for me!

Whoa! This is a superb and grotesque masterpiece from Babar Studios! :D

The incredible cast gives standout performances and, in the steady hands of a great director and some solid writing, everything comes together perfecly.

Where dreams and nightmares blend with reality, but you can still sense that this is a reality that is palpable, that is an achievement.

Bravo.

This movie was put together very well indeed. The visuals, sets etc were great and the vo's really stood out - beautifully acted and written and given the movie a sense of depth and realism. This was a good variation of a tired theme. The psycho killer stalker scinario has been done to death, but you managed to re-invent it in this movie.

I was only dissapointed by 2 things, 1) was the use of copyright music without, i assume, permission or even accreditation - in my book this prevents any movie from obtaining 5 stars. 2) i felt the first 7-8 minutes of the movie dragged a little bit too long. Whilst the first caller was very comedic, i don't feel he added a great deal to the film. I know it was all about setting the scene, background etc, but i thougt it was just a bit too much.

A very well deserved 4 stars

Intricately crafted, "Panic Radio" stands as one of the finest releases in TMO's horror genre to date. Combining exceptional character development with incredible story, monumental suspense and fantastic direction from Babar23, "Panic Radio" explodes with its thrilling atmosphere that does an incredible job of shifting you to the edge of your seat within seconds.

Babar23 utilizes freecam to riveting effect in this film...a lot of the camera angles and sheer use of music really just make you put your eyes towards the screen, waiting for the inevitable scare. What really seems to happen is that you have no idea what to expect as the film moves on, and its the surprising little twists that Babar23 slips so smoothly into the strong storyline that really gives you a run for your money.

The voice-acting is superb, collecting some of TMO's top voice-talents. Sisch was fantastic as the lead actress. With a supporting cast of TMO greats such as k4ownzall, JosephKW, Goofparade, Another_New_Dawn and Mustachio26, each performer really brings their respective character to life with suitable emotion and rollicking energy. Combine that with the exceptionally well put together soundtrack that combines horriffic, thrilling tracks with catchy love tunes...and you really know that this film has something going.

Overall, an excellent film that really blasts into you with full-strength. I really enjoyed this one!

This was a tense, moody piece of cinema. More is told in the facial expressions and the voice acting and background music than in the raw action. Things are well-done in that they suggest greater, more terrible things, preying on the viewer as we identify with Brigitte. Just plain clever and scary.

Brovo, Great job and all that this movie has what it takes to make a 5 star movie in my opion. the filming, editing and use of music is just exceptional. One word: WOW!

First of all, I can't believe how much thought you put into this movie it seems. The voiceovers were amazing especially Brigitte's and Alexis'. Next the music fit perfectly with the movie feel. Finally the storyline. Oh my god, this is the BEST movie on TMO that i have ever seen. Thanks for putting it on.

I was wondering if you could rate my movie, The First Test Part 2(you might need to watch part 1 to understand). Thank you in advance and you should be proud of what you have created.

Flawless is another word that pops into my head.
Set dressing was luscious & the Cam angles superb.
All of the Voice Actors were great as well
but I have to mention Goofparades 'performance'.
Sheesh! What a great Singer he is!
Hats off to him!
Very good job Babar & I don't give a rats ass

I am so conflicted in this review. I'll address a couple of things.

First, the movie. Wow, simply, wow. It is great. Very creepy, psycho thriller here. I like it very much. The acting is amazing, top notch. The set dressing is absolutely perfect. A neat radio station created there, a great backdrop for this fantastic film.

Secondly, I had to drop it two stars for the use of copyrighted music. It's really a shame. I think this may be a case of you not knowing the rules. The long and the short of it is, that you can't use it unless you have the expressed permission and can prove it. I hope you use royalty free music in your next film, because you are certainly talented and create excellent pieces.

Again, an excellent film. Just the music issue holding it back.

Incredibly amazing!! THE most scary movie on tmo. The music and sound were just awesome and added a lot to the tension, it was all perfect. the voice acting was some of the best I've heard, at least in a horror movie, all the actors were perfect. the free-cam and set dressing was so good it made me forget I was watching a tmo-movie. I were never sure how the scene was going to end, and thats great editing, and the pace was great througout and it kept my attention.
This is scarier than many real-life movies!

"Play Misty For Me" is the film that I think of when watching this - it had a nice atmosphere with some great songs. I loved the first caller!

Not too keen on the "In the Lobby" overlay - that seemed unnecessary.

A superb performance from the DJ throughout - easily the best I've heard from her while speaking in English. Very good jobs done by the supporting actors too.

Good camera moves and nice sound as well.

I liked the story and its twists, to say why would be to give it away ... so I won't.

So this should be easily a 5-stars - but I was unhappy about the way your musical talent was treated in two regards:

1) Why is the track listing not on the main movie page? For the want of a simple copy and paste ...

2) "main music is free right" - what exactly do you mean by that? None of the music you've used is free from copyright. This film could be pulled at any moment. That one sentence has earned you a one-star dock. And you're lucky to get away with just that.

Really great horror film. The story was just perfect and the whole atmosphere was very well created. The vo's were awesome, but I expected nothing less from that stunning cast! You're camera/editing work + mods also gave this movie a great feel. Had everything a really good horror movie should have, even some originality which is extremley hard to find in horror films. I think the music in this movie was awesome, but almost, if not all, is copyrighted material. Now personally I don't give a crap about this, because I think that the copyrighted song are most definetly the best ones. But sadly does many of the TMO'ers frown upon this and I'm surprised this hasn't been taken offline. I really hope it stays online though.

5 FUNKY stars! //Towelie

Panic Radio burns up the frequencies as an audio collage, filled with temporal slips and several interludes into enviornmentally triggered fear response. The acting was without peer, as each word just seemed to sink it's teeth into listener's skull, and swallow them into this abstract case of fan obsession. The dream~like scene transitions give an unsteady, almost non~linear aspect to the story, which also benefits from its' unique cinemtography, scene usage and an exhillarating selection of music. This director again takes the viewer, and this medium, to new heights . . . who could have guessed it would have been on the radio?

GREETINGS FROM L.M.A.O. STUDIOS!

A spectacular horror as arrived on TMO!

THE GOOD: The dialog and script really shared the spotlight in this outstanding thriller. The writing is nothing short of genius, genuinely intelligent and devilishly cleaver. The acting, is by far, magnificent! The actors delivered clear, realistic and heartfelt performances. Sisch is such an amazingly talented, she should be in Hollywood without a doubt! The music, for the most part, really fit the mood and acted as another medium of storytelling. The camera angles really offered something completely different to the viewers. Original and captivating Kubrick style cinematography left us completely floored. The editing was like a fresh breath in movie making on TMO. The sound quality is what most of us strive for as filmmakers, simply marvelous! The ending was so perfect and we cheered for the way it was executed!

THE BAD: Vincent Price's laugh is from the song Thriller by Michael Jackson. The song is copyright protected, so we had to take away a star for that. Sorry. It would have been easy just to add an actor??s laugh. That??s about it!

Overall, one of the best horror thrillers we have seen on TMO. Well done babar23, you are an original!

The Wackiest silliest, randomness, craziness, and funny Movie Academy Awards number 2 reviewer-Craziest, weirdest, and overall review

What an amazing film you have here Babar. There are so many things I want to say about it.

First, kudos to Goof Parade??s Singing voice as Rene; It was very nice, and uplifting. Mustachio's voice for the mysterious caller, that was chilling, and he did a nice job with that role. Kudos to him too; All the VO's in this movie did a wonderful job acting, and making all the characters alive, setting their moods to afraid, happy, etc. Thumbs up for the VA's!

The music was great, and you chose it very nicely for this film. I like the concept of a radio show, it was interesting how you portrayed it, and put it all together.

Very nice use of mods, free cam, overlays, and set dressing in this film, you did a good job with all that. I like the chilling atmosphere, and the horror tension build up as Brigette is walking towards her car, and she keeps hearing it honk for some strange reason, hoping it's not the caller that called her at work, but she keeps walking anyway, and finds out that her dog is honking the car.

Then, she goes back inside her house, and boom! The mysterious caller is in her house, and it goes to a creepy fight scene, then poof! She finds out that she's dreaming. I had chills, as I was on the edge of my seat, watching with full anticipation, as I watched what happened on my computer screen. I thought the mysterious caller was in the car!

What a thrill ride. You??re an awesome horror storyteller, Babar, 2 thumbs up!

Film on!

5 stars!

Wonderful movie babar. A very eerie movie that can make any TMO Watcher tremble. This really had some good atmosphere that projected this movie into something completed unexpected. Scene transition and camera work was some of the best I've ever seen. Also, I love how you built up some suspense on alot of the scenes. You also matched the Voice actors perfect to there assigned character. You also managed to turn the direction in alot of the scenes, I kept thinking a certain scene would end up they way I thought it would, but it went the complete opposite. Alot of creativity on your part babar. Excellent show babar, hope to see more great things from you.

Wonderful Babar! Everything about this film was brilliant! The radio station was really weird and very effective. A lot of the other sets were super too! The story was one of the best I've seen carried out beautifully by an excellent script and some wonderful Voice acting. All the music was wonderful too.

This movie is probably the most professional and tidy film I've seen on TMO. All of the techniques used worked really well and provided a visual and audio delight.

I cannot praise this film enough, it truly deserves to be there up at the top of the charts, or at least the horror charts (if it's not already).

Excellent work, Babar! I loved your use of sound, music and tension to reel the viewer in. Well I've seen the french version so Babar23 you know what I think about it :) ... But I want to make a special mention to the absolutely astonishing work of the whole cast! And then again, especially goofparade and his singing!
That's something nobody wants to miss!
Like this movie!
Excellent job, mate! :)

Sisch was extremely FABO-lishious in this movie! She needs ner own spot on TMOA !!! WOW. Having seen this film in french and now in english was a real treat. I don't know what happened to my VOs, since to me they were way, way too loud... but the voice changes in the dream sequence were a surprise. Once again, congrats on the work involved in converting your movie into English! Well done! K4

Wow! I'm very pleased with the way the english version turned out Babar.
I feel that the entire cast pulled this one off quite admirably. Each caller was apropriatly intriguing and somewhat disturbing(especially A_N_D), but I laughed the hardest when I heard K4's rendition of Jean-Claude. Great job to the whole cast!

I know this wasn't an easy one for the cast, since we all had to deliver our lines to fit the existing editing already done for the french version. I believe we all had our little stopwatches there to get each line down, accurate to the 1/10 of a second.. heh heh.
This has to be a first for TMO. :)

Babar's unique visuals and overall great sense of drama and suspense came together quite nicely with his haunting music choices to make Panic Radio (english version) an unqualified success.

congrats to you Babar23!

Wow! I´m very proud to be a part of this movie! I´m so impressed by the atmosphere you created - the studio was just great, and heightened the sense of loneliness.. sitting there, talking to strange people.. the camera slowly gliding around the room.. the street, Brigitte´s home.. everything was done so well! The sounds and lightning effects, all smoothly edited, bravo! :)

The guys all did outstanding vo performances (no wonder: what a cast!), I loved all their performances, but especially I loved Goofparades singing!! Absolutely wonderful! And the music fitted just great! And the ending... :)

Oh my god! That was masterful Babar, you had me on theedge of my seat (literally) when the crazy guy called and then all the way through. The setting of the studio was also geniously done. Intentional or not, instead of this average studio you create a dark lonely room where she is the only person there and the camera so blankly staring at her makes itseem like every caller is right there, but yet there not, which really sends chillsthrough you. Also the beginning was great because you set it up with a variety of callers calling in, and each one ofthem is "disturbing" in their own special way which reallymakes you uncertain which one is really crazy.Amazing set dressing also, like for instance when she is on the sidewalk, brilliantly done. Also at the end when the killer camedown the stairs, the cinematography and the effect with the lighting going on and off really gave it a extremely realistic effect to it. And of course the very end, it wasnt so original, but still excellent way to end it and it does seem to maintain some originality with the whoole setting of it, so 5 stars to you Babar!

Cant wait to work with youand see whats next.

Wow! That was very, very good. Genuinely disturbing.
I loved the studio set: very minimalist and very effective.
The VAs were all superbly done, as good a cast performance as I've heard. Great music as well.
Nothing left to say except thank you (and Goofparade) for doing this in English.

Dark, Moody, Atmospheric, Enchanting, Disturbing, Chilling, Thrilling. These are only a handful of words to describe this film. What truly stands out are the VA's in this movie. I must applaud all voiceovers who did an OUTSTANDING job, truly OUTSTANDING!!! they execute their lines with precision! you had an all star cast and they really did this film justice!!

Your visual style is very distinctive and to be quite honest, there is no one on TMO like you Babar. You have a connection with the free-cam that allows you to get the most striking angles and pans that really draw the viewer in. Overall I thought the Plot was highly entertaining, it reminded me of something but I couldnt quite put my finger on, I had a sense of dejavu watching it. Was that Vincent Price I heard at the end???

I liked the twist right at the end too, keep up the nuketastic work!!

Panic Well in the Radio!

O_O, I do not know what to say, this film is simply magnificent, a diamond in the raw state.
The realization is really completed, one very very good use of the freecam, and decorations of the room of radio is really very well, simple and elegant. Like the decorations of the street where lives Brigitte.
The musics stick very well on the film, it is hallucinating to see the contrast exactly with the sweet music and the dismay of Brigitte.
The story is remarkable, it was necessary to think of it it's true! It is unique on TMO, and the end is how to say, completed :).
An enormous bravo to Goofparade who really made an excellent performance and who moreover that, is an excellent singer ^^.
You managed to create a real atmosphere, which plunges us totally into the film and makes us forget the time.
I am under the charm and I don??t know what to say, if it is not, bravo Babar.

;)
