Dude, wow!! I am totally speechless!! I was already hooked to this series with Part 1 as it really gave an amazing perspective that the story would be told in so many cool ways. In Part one of this series, it's the mythology which is told, which i love as you get to know the characters. Now, in part two, we know the characters, we know how will react to a certain situation and i must say that this is an excellent follow up from the last installment. I was really gripped on my seat throughout watching this James!!! I loved it. The cast was spot on and really gave a lot of fine performances, not to mention Josephkw!! Stunning. I also love the way you used some exceptional mods in this movie. Great stuff. The camera-work is very cool, I feel as if I'm watching a real movie. I love everything about this series, the characters, the complex story. I loved the suspense at the end of this episode James! Excellent work. I am so eager to see part 3!!! You always make stunning stuff!!!
Overall, a wonderful, amazing another installment in this very interesting series, more is revealed to the audience and in this episode, it truly does persuades the audience to see part 3!! Excellent work all around.
You make such astounding movies. A masterpiece at it's own right.
Stunning, creepy, un-nerving in parts, but very enjoyable throughout and not a dull moment at all. Great effort. I'm so hyper to see what happens next now.
Excellent work dude!!! By far, the best horror series on TMO!! No doubt!!!
Highly recommended horror. Overall percentage= 100%= Completly Flawless and one hell of a horror series and so much more. You really know how to make an amazing horror series and to entertain the hell out of people!!!!!! Like me!!!

Gosh wow! And we thought we knew it all when you graced us with the first, but boy did you shove that right back in our faces. This is suspense filmmaking at it's finest moment. Jameseva has managed to take an already glued-to-the-screen story, and raise it to another level. Words fail me. You are a genious, and I'm anxiously anticipating the release of part 3.

"Mr. White's condition has deteriorated"

The Good:
Once again, the storyline. Very well written.
Great use of free-cam and camera angles.
The music matched the tone of the action very well.
Voices were clear and crisp. Well performed.
The set dressing, backdrops and overlays were exeptional.
I love the character development that is taking place.

The Bad:
Once again, nothing major to note.

Overall:
A great follow-up to a great introduction. I will be sure to watch Part 3 when I get a chance.

A FREDTHEDUCK REVIEW

Plot: 19/20 - again, I'm enormously impressed with the plot of these movies! They are among the best ever to be made on TMO, I am sure of it.

Suspense: 8/10 - like I'm sure I said last time, there isn't really a lot of room for suspense in theis series, but what you had had me on the edge of my seat for the whole movie.

Scary Rating: 9/10 - Again, this gets in your head, and can't really say a lot more than that.

VOs: 15/15 - your cast rock. Say no more.

Custom Content: 10/10 - Its all perfect!

Editing: 15/15 - Damnit, I can't criticise you! :p

Music/sfx: 9/10 - Again, even though your music is perfect, you overused it just a tiny bit.

the wow factor: 10/10 - Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

TOTAL: 95% - 5 star (again)

02 FILM REVIEW

Really I think all that needs to be said about this movie can be seen just by looking at this movies overall rating. Seven pages of straight five stars has got to be a very rare thing indeed, and this definately shows that the audience is reacting extremely positive to this series. Okay I will be honest though, I'm not sure I liked this more than its predecessor, don't get me wrong I still utterly adored this movie, but I found the first movie to be a little bit better made. However the storyline has progressed greatly in this movie, its left everything on a brilliantly executed cliffhanger and the characters have grown before my very eyes. I also loved the fact you're still holding things back from the audience, the constant references to "them", the suspicious doctors yet we still know nothing about them. In fact we still know virtually nothing about what is going on and yet I am still completely gripped by this movie and storyline. I am pretty certain everythhing has been held back for part three, and so I truly cannot wait to see what happens.

The voice overs once again were brilliant, the new introduction of Artorious was a very wise one as he brings a nice villainious quality to his director of the psychological hospital. In fact I liked the cast a bit better this time around mainly because we got to see the doctors really relish their villain roles. I'm still intrigued to find out more about them, and the very dark scenes involving the medicine taking has made me appreciate them as villains even more. In fact with this large focus as to what was going on in the hospital I sort of felt that Rysto as Ryan was a bit sidelined, also it was a shame to see so little of JosephKw as Robert because he was a great character and yt I felt he had little to do in this movie. However I have managed to learn about different characters and as I've said I ams certain that everything will come together in the next instalment of the series.

The direction of the movie once again was absolutely flawless. However, as I've said I did find the first part of the movie to be a bit better made, perhaps because the first instalment relied on neat tricks to boost up the atmosphere while this was much more story focused than anything else. But I just didn't find it as good looking as the first movie was. This isn't to say this is a poorly made movie as its still a brillianyly made movie. The score once again really compliments the movie itself, the editing and camera work is amongst the very best I have seen on this site, and all in all this is so obviously a five star movie, hell if I had a sixth star to give to this series I would most certainly give it to it.

Overall this is a superb sequel to an amazing first part. It more than lives up to its predecessor and has really developed a well crafted storyline. Definately cannot wait to sit and watch part 3 as I am sure everything will finally come together, and I just pray it isn't a disappointment as it has a lot to live up to.

Once again you have created an outstanding film...

+ Wonderful selection of VO Casting giving a spectacular performance...

+ Music was wonderfully chosen. There was one part in the hospital hall with two doctor and ryan conversation I thought the music was out of place... But all else was carefully chosen...

+ Backdrops like prior film wonderfully done...

+ Wonderful use of free cam to give same scenes a fresh feel...

+ I liked how you did the 3 minute preview from part 1...

+ Nice use of sound and smoke effects...

+ Nice selection of costume and fathers face looking ill...

+ Script like part 1 wonderfully written with a storyline of its own...

Overall what can I say nothing but greatness. After watching part one I had high expectations for part 2, you surely didn't disappoint.. Now on to part 3..

A slick smooth production, rich in atmosphere and the thing i love most of all; set dressing. Some nice camera angles and sound effects give us the feeling of a real hospital and that is the point. Great stuff.

GREETINGS FROM L.M.A.O. STUDIOS!

Brilliant dialog, story and music create a powerful second installment to this amazing series!

THE GOOD: The actors and the dialog are the backbone of this film. The acting was clear, genuine and well acted! Wow! The dialog is excellently written. Cleaver twists with a mysterious plot is what draws the viewer in. The music really carried the scenes. The editing was spot on, as was the pace of this incredible film. We were shocked to see the father be killed, but even more so when he escapes. Brilliant writing!

THE BAD: A bit too much free cam use. That??s it!

A magnificent sequel that continues the thrilling ride of Ryan White!

Ok, that's it, I'm bookmarking your studio ! For a reason I ignore, the VO's were more clearer than in the first one. The music is still a good fear factor, but most of all, I found myself wanting for more at the end of the movie. And for this to happen, it must be that your characters appeals easily the the spectators and the plot is deep and intereting enough to keep us in front of our little screens. Anyway, great work you've done, continue the good work ^^

Review

Story: 10/10 Although this didn't answer too many questions regarding the last film, it brought up a lot more and I can't wait to see them. This series is just like the show on ABC called LOST, (except this is better ;-) ). Once you start watching it, you can't stop because it is so interesting. Great job!

Music: 5/5 Music worked very well.

VO/Subs: 10/10 Once again all the voice actors did a fantastic job! I would have to say that it is too hard to choose one out of all of them, but rysto probably stood out the most this time.

Script: 5/5 Again a very well written script with wonderful delivery by the actors.

Extras: 5/5 Great freecam and mods. Excellent all around.

Editing: 15/15 Fantastic editing. Didn't feel too long or too short. I enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait for the next episode and if you ever need me for VO's or anything let me know.

Final Score: 50/50

James,

You certainly know how to construct a haunting and spooky tale with strong characterizations and plot, bordering on perfection in the genre. I loved the 1st one, and the 2nd delivers even more mystery and well played out storytelling.

Top notch VO work from your cast, believable dialog, amazing music. This segway from part one into the deeper story is powerful and delivers the same haunting feeling I liked about the opening. James, you have it and I very much look forward to the next one. Cheers.

5 masterfully earned stars.

The sequel to the excellent Tainted Souls is every bit as good as the original. An efficient recap puts us right back where we were at the end of the last episode. Like a good book, the story unfolds methodically and the attentive viewers are in for a ride. Just like Restless Dead, we see an array of well drawn-out characters.

My only minor quibble is the repetitiveness of the music, which sometimes was a tad bit excessive. But that is almost irrelevant when compared to the impressive qualities of the production. The voice actors did a magnificent job. I thought K4??s voice really brought weight and importance to his scenes. The script is very solid and the direction steady and comforting.

Please remind me when the next episode is out!

This is a truely great film and you should be relly proud of your work. I have really enjoyed both parts of the series so far and I can't wait for the next installment. the end of each episode leaves you wanting more which is a skill writers try to master for years. You have a true talent (maybe you should write a novel)

The voice actors definatley deserve an award for their their acting skills every part was played to perfection

5 Stars!

Your films just get better an better. Keep up the good work and good luck with part three I am sure it will be great!

Wow, just wow. That was brilliant, I'm gripped, stunned and appalled all at the same time!
Wonderful VO actors and dialog in fact everything was great except for the music, 1. I know that's really from Newgrounds.com
2. It got boring and a change of music would have helped move the story along.
Apart from that it was great!

This is one of the best series I have seen on TMO the writing is solid and it keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more. The story is carried brilliantly by the cast of voice actors you have got and they do a great job of making you feel for the characters. Everything that else that was great from the first part was is present here as well custom camera use, solid cutting and the great use of a cliff hanger ending.

This is definitely a person who will be tuning into the next part.

Good
Great work all around from the music to the VO's to the sets and costumes and camera work and overlays everything was top notch. I really liked the fact that you recapped the first episode. did you just reshoot those scens or did you add them from the other one somehow? This installment was much more entertaining than the first.

Bad
the only thing bad about this is that part 3 isn't out yet i suggest you rectify this imediatly!

World Critics Centre

The Tainted Souls episodes are most impressive pieces of work. A movie with highly dinamic voice actors, the series are a huge amount of work. With advanced skills of effects, freecam and music, Jameseva and his crew and cast, had added up to a number one hit, pounding with a high quality movie. Another sequal has come, and has turned into another brilliant blockbuster, with a definate master of the genre. Through many horrors, and hotpicked Tainted Souls Part I, the number two has led to an awsome generation, dazzling people with such imagination and excitment. You and your crew have put in a huge amount of effort, including the most incredible voice actors on The Movies Online.

With a huge pound of amazment, the Tainted Souls collection is bursting with great new ideas, including the fanstic mods, backdrops, music and so on. This is the stage when everyone is excited for Part III, where a final legend of movie-making will end. With a great length in minutes, Jameseva has found most impressive voice actors, with terrficly designed facial characters, which is carefully used in StarMaker. With the first and second bringing amazment, the third awaits, as confidence is in the voice actors.

In conclusion, with spectacular joyment in this movie, I want to give a huge applause, not only for Tainted Souls, but the people who firstly created it. Well done Jameseva and crew and cast, have good luck shooting the next film, and make it better and longer. Thank you so much, yours truly World Critics Centre.

Superb. You may want to work a bit on the starting backdrop so that the set doesn't show in the finished picture. Here's my shortened review:

Plot and believability: Very good.
Use of camera and props: Very good.
Character dressing and appearance: Excellent.
Use of music: Excellent.
Voice acting: Superb! K4ownzall once again stars in portraying a very convincing villain, but without Artorious as Dr. Vincent the moustache-twirling scheming would not have been nearly as whole.

All in all: 5 stars! Bookmarked your page to wait for the ending :)

Well it's starting to be interesting! I found this episode much better than the 1st one. There was some good setdressing, voice were very good. Musique was great!!
What I didn't like was some freecam movement, but in the global that was ok.

See you for the next episode.

So...the sequel to the massive blockbuster super spooky extravaganza Tainted Souls...

Story (9) - The story continues to grip viewers to the screen like any good mystery story does and the series development is evident. This installment is just as good as the first, with my only drawback being that it is too short. And I don't often say that. The flashback period at the beginning went on for too long, and there wasn't much story in the 14 minutes, but what we did see was wonderful.

Originality (10) - Fresh and exciting, the plot is still very varied and different, and could be going anywhere. You left us at a good cliffhanger. The story was wonderfully typical and hugely different at the same time, too classic horror mysteries.

VOs/Subs (10) - The cast did brilliant, not that that was not expected from such a high quality, all star cast. Each individual put in a solid performance, portraying their roles with quality and integrity, that made the whole story very believable.

Music (10) - A brilliant array of wonderfully selected custom music, each piece was perfect for the scenes it was portraying, good job.

Editing (9) - Some brilliant scenes, but some quite strange ones. There were intentional moments of silence that seemed rather strange, but were pulled off well.

Set Dressing & Props (10) - The clatter in the cellar was great. It looked liked they'd all been placed there by Lionhead! Great work! I appreciate the time and effort that must've taken.

Camerawork (9) - Generally solid, although some of the scenes that flowed through jumped or paused a bit.

Backdrops/Overlays (9) - Some nifty opening and ending credits although once or twice the top of the set could be seen. This made it obvious that these were backdrops and not just custom overlays which IMHO look flashier.

Genre Feel (10) - Great. This part was scarier I felt, and very mysterious and creepy.

Mods & That Something Extra (9) - 3 for some brilliant story-writing, 2 for mods, 2 for the VOs, 2 for the music.

95/100 - Just less than the first episode, but mainly because of the length. Still 5 stars and a Big Cheese Award! Congratulations!

Another film. Another Hit. You just keep realing them off James.
This episode topped the first, which is a very hard thing to do. This is simply an amazing bit of work.
We delve deeper into the story with this episode and that tingling on my spine really started to work overtime.
Your used of freecam and overall editing were excellent and seemless.
The Voice Actors did a great job bringing their characters to life. I have to give special attention to JosephKw and Rysto. Their performances as the White's were amazing. I can't say enough about their remakable work.
I love the music you've chosen for this film. It's chilling and adds to the emotion of the film perfectly.
In summary all I can say is WOW just WOW. This is another great franchise from your studio and I'm proud to be able to say I'm a part of it.

I was hooked the moment it started this is a brilliant continuation of the first that intrigues and I really did not want this to end... you seem to be really good at that.

The story was brilliantly constructed and really begins to deepen as the mystery begins to grow pulling me in and leaving me wanting more. The free-cam was amazing and the music highlights the whole production brilliantly.

I think this might be the best film I've seen on TMO. Everything about it was on a whole other level... the direction, the dialogue, the use of music, everying. I would especially like to point out the fantastic voice acting done by the ENTIRE cast, which is by far the best I've heard on this website. I only wish I could give you 6 stars for this magnificent film.

I'm sure I know who did "it"! :p
Hey, here we go again! Damn it was about time heh! Good job on the little intro. The beginning was a little slow, but necessary, I guess, then things started again like I like it! Great story, with suspense and emotions... can't wait to see next part! Please keep PMing me thanks!:)

Another good movie from jameseva. I like it very much that there was a short introduction to previous part, it's useful for people who have seen that part long ago. :-) I like the work of camera on the custom background with Hidden Truth's title, it's literally inviting you to enter the new movie. Then there's that perfect attention for details, each set is full of accesories which create and atmosphere needed to customize the well-know set. The cellar set was the most clear example of such treat.

Then there was the intrigue being fully developed from the seed prepared in 1st part, it really sucks in the viewer and keeps glued to the screen. Good work, just as usual.

I am not disappointed by this second part, it was very captivating and the 13 minutes passed very fast. The character of the father was very engaging and all the VO's were perfect. I'm looking forward to the next part now! (sorry for my poor english)

The second chapter of a series is usually the most difficult in regards to pacing and structure, but this was actually even better than the first (which is saying a lot). Those 14 minutes just flew by, and the episode was over much too soon. The VO's sounded much better this time around as well (Dr. Vincent's radio-quality echo was reduced significantly, but still persisted a little). A few instances with the opening titles exposed a glimpse of the backdrop scaffolding, but apart from that the other scenes were meticulously composed (I especially appreciated the depth-of-field distortion used in the shots where the doctors altered forms). This is a fantastic film which I am ecstatic to be a part of.

Well made and played James, now we are getting to the nitty-gritty of this engaging story..

Plenty of suspense and drama with the addition of Director Mattis brilliantly portrayed by K4.

Once again, the entire cast comes through with an overall winning performance.

The music is haunting and effective, to me it's become a signature of the series... to another, it might be a tad too "wall to wall" for some tastes.

Solid film that weaves a mesmerizing spell on the viewer.

congrats!

Another riveting and awesome edition in the Tainted Souls series! You really have me interested here, James. The defined characters, the mysterious plot, the overall production value - all top-notch. And I must tip my hat to your amazing cast. Excellent work all around!

If there was anything I'd ask for you to improve upon, I'd say music choice. Everything works, but sometimes it seems like it's the same track over and over again.

An amazing job, James. Heck, it's an Awesomely Awesome one! Great work!

With JamesEva's "Tainted Souls I - Deaths Drs Dreams" having earned the first "A" grade on my very critical Honest Review thread, I came into this installment with high expectations. And check it out - James scores again.

Good and bad stuff follows, in the exact order it came to on the second viewing...

Nice opening credits, but is that a glitch along the top of the screen at 00:10 (and again at 3:19)? Don't let us see the top of the green screen, please. ;)

And on both viewings, this jumped out at me - does the priest say "we are gathered here today to "corroborate" the life of Julie..."? "Commemorate", perhaps? A small thing, perhaps, but a suspension-of-disbelief killer - not something a priest would get wrong, and it bugged me in both films.

Excellent job of catching the viewer up on events from the previous episode - anyone could have picked up here and still followed the flow. It isn't easy to make a sequel, let alone to encapsulate the first installment into such a zip-trailer intro. Really nice work.

Dr. Vincent's delivery has been toned down from the previous installment (a plus), but the radio quality of that VO remains (a very minor negative).

And from there on out, to be perfectly honest, even on a second viewing, I really didn't find any flaws worth mentioning throughout the rest of the film. Just good music, fine camerawork, pacing, tone... some outstanding VO's (Holy whoa, why doesn't JosephKW get nominated for more VO awards?) with Rysto still keeping me interested and giving a damn about what happens to Ryan White and K4 delivering as good as any real-life, prime-time television character actor.

And James, as a director putting in all the ingredients and stirring the pot and delivering the goods - you surpassed your first effort by a long shot. I will look more eagerly forward to Part 3 than I did this one.

The mystery is really hotting up now in this well-acted and well-shot (for the most part) film.

I liked the FX shot and all the banter between the two bad Doctors.

Not so clever were the opening and closing titles - you can clearly see the scaffolding above the backdrop in both shots. There was also one instance in the head Doctor's office where an object (looked like a box of tissues) magicked itself onto the table out of thin air.

Music was good - and although I stand by what I said about part I, the use of music in the series is consistent.

But - I'm not happy with the lack of credits for the musicians (although you've named the sites). After May 1st, all films that don't credit the musicians by name will lose a star from me (as always, those that don't mention even the websites will get auto-1 starred). So, by a few days, this film has escaped that fate.

Other than that, another excellent installment.

Remind my family that I don't want to be put away in Raven Heights! It was a joy playing Dr. Mattis and to have the opportunity to play against Joseph (Robert White). There is a tension in this episode that cries for relief as Part 2 ends.. and leaves the viewer in agony and suspense! Wonderful camera, wonderful script! ===K4===

Fabulous story, fabulous Voice acting, fabulous direction. This is what TMO is all about. The best series on TMO has done it again with an even more exciting installment to an awesome series. I especially liked the little recap at the begining.

Ooooooo. The drama, the tension. I'm glad I don't ever read the whole script! Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Some good camera work there. I thought the "Last time on..." part was a little long but the rest of the story was to short...! I want the next chapter!!!

A great follow up to the First Part. We delve a little bit deeper into the lives and situations these fascinating characters are presented with. I thought the VA's yet again did a great job on executing their lines and the plot itself managed to draw me into it again from the opening catch up sequence to the mysterious ending. Any good series has to be consistant and keep the viewer guessing and wanting to know more. I can truly say this apples to your movie!

All that's left for me to say is I thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot wait for the next part!
