It certainly ends tonight!!! I had a quick glance of Fast II to refresh my memory before watching this one and I have to say the conclusion was highly unexpected. Good VO's , Nice use of Cameras, The Dialogue was pretty tense in places, some others felt a bit loose but overall it was very good. The End is what stood out for me, great show down and a Nuketastic Twist at the end coupled with a great Credit/Music Track to see off the rest of the film.

I'm sad to see this trilogy come to and end but I am also excited at the prospect of a FAST Prequel!!!

Keep up the Good Work and

It's Fast II times a million! Fantastic camera angles, create some really beautiful cinematrophy in this well paced action flick. Excellent use of lighting too, gives it a dark feel. A fitting end.

The voice acting was top notch. Everybody gave a stunning performance. I especially like docontheweb's portrayal of Fast.

Can't wait to see the prequel's! Keep it up mogulman.

Overall, a good conclusion to the Fast story, with an interesting twist at the end. There??s an interesting divergence in the quality of execution here though, which mars the overall production.

Overall enjoyment: 29/35. I like this story ?? as well as the characters and dialog for the most part. Suspension of disbelief becomes a factor toward the end, however, as we see Makano and Fast in a shoot-out that turns an action-drama into a bit of unintended comedy. My enjoyment was also reduced by some editing concerns.

Editing: 24/30. The overall flow of the story is quite good, but individual scenes needed some work. There??s far too many conversations with too much space between each character??s lines ?? this takes the biggest chunk out of the editing rating here. My other minor visual concern involves the occasional awkward fade. Besides that, there??s a style to the camera-work here that I absolutely love, and that fits this type of film perfectly.
Voice-overs come through crisp and clear, and the music always suits the mood of the film. The background ambience sound does get in the way a little during the climax in the bar.

Production Value: 14/15. Good use of costumes and props, and the camera-work actually does a lot for the production value as well. I did feel that some work put into Starmaker could have improved things a little, though the costumes certainly were enough to identify each character. The custom opening title and credits were reasonably good, but I found it awkward having sub-titles for some end credits that presumably were forgotten until you reached post production.

Characters: 9/10. I like these characters. There is a slight awkwardness in their reactions to things, primarily due to the main editing concern I had.

Dialog: 8/10. Same comments as for the characters, with the addition that I simply found the climax a touch too unbelievable.

Total: 84/100.

4 stars. Except for the substantial editing concerns, this is actually quite a satisfying conclusion to the series.

My suggestions: I think more work in tightening up the pace of the conversation scenes was a necessity here. I would suggest bringing in clumps of lines, and then whittling away at each shot until the characters respond to one another in a much more natural-sounding fashion. There were even some cases here where a character sounded like he was supposed to be interrupting someone, but the space between the lines betrayed it.
Regarding the fades, this is indeed a bug in the game. However, I??m someone who feels that when we notice these things happen, we should take the necessary steps to work around them. (It was only one point off in my overall score.) The bug occurs when you add fades to scenes, and then either change their order or split them. To avoid this, make setting the fades the last step in your post production run.

Well I loved Fast, and Fast II. I was waiting for a while for this...And it was a disapointment. It was a great ending, but it was just bad. The dialouge was horrible. Pauses in between lines. Sometimes the script would repeat itself. In one scene they said something, and in the next scene they had the exact same conversation. When they were in the car and saw the cop crash, they were on the interstate. The gunfight was horrible. One guy fires off one round and the other guy is dead. Then in the next fight they shoot off 90 rounds and didn't hit each other. And the one guys gun can only hold eight bullets. I'm sorry but this was badly scripted, and just didn't work for me.

Super super movie, some of the dialogue was wonderful, and the freecam, and editing was exquisite. Some nice mods too. Truly a great movie.
Great job...

GREETINGS FROM L.M.A.O. STUDIOS!
Reviewing by JennyN

The editing was horrible. Most of the dialog had long pauses in between lines and ruined it. Too much information in the beginning made a very slow start. A lot of profanity used, although it kinda worked in the dialog. I did laugh at one point because the one guy sounds like the Rex in Napoleon Dynamite "REX KWON-DO! BOW TO YOUR SENSAI!" hahahaha. I would bet a million dollars that you sent dialog to actors with just their lines. Right? They all sounded flat and poorly directed. Not saying they cant act, but even Tom Hanks might sound bad if he doesn??t know what his dialog is pertaining to.

Sorry this film just isn??t interesting or entertaining to me. Seemed more like a black comedy to me.

Peace and take care,

A very good film, but not the great film I was hoping for.

Terrific voice acting by Doc and DNR, some very nice camera work, and an excellent soundtrack by Del are the real high points of this movie. Even the shootout scene, which on the face of it was almost ridiculous in terms of the number of rounds fired versus the effect, was interesting in a surreal way, which may have been the effect you were going for.

But for me, the main thing keeping it from that 5th star is the flow of the dialogue - pauses between lines can be well used for effect, but the lengthy pauses between lines in most conversation scenes gave them an unnatural feel. Not all dialogue has to be "snappy", but the long pauses between each line had me waiting, almost impatiently, for the other character to deliver his reply.

Overall a very solid film, and a good cap to a fine action series. I'll be looking forward to the prequel.

Wow, in one word: Amazing.
pushing the levels higher and grittier than the first two, and leveling with some groundbreaking work by brilliant VAs, this is not only a brilliant end to a mega saga on TMO, but possibly one of the best movies ever on TMO, congratulations.

WARNING! PARTS OF THIS REVIEW DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS!

Mogulman's intense crime saga began with FAST, where a single man gunned down a gang in an alley. The story jumped to new lengths with FAST II...the incredible sequel that left me breathless. After much wait and much hype, FAST III~It Ends Tonight was finally released...and while it was an enjoyable film, it was very noticeably flawed.

First off, was the story. I felt that the last installment was rushed in a way...not in terms of production, but in story. It started off where it should have, but seems to lack something towards the end...both Docontheweb and DNR display terrific scenes together, but a lot of this anti-chemistry and intensity seems to be lacking via the dialogue...a lot of lines are repeated (I counted "Okay, lets go" three or so times within two minutes), and its wrapped up a little too bluntly. I can't say that I wasn't dissapointed...I've been waiting for this film for a while, and I felt that it could have been done a bit more justice.

The cinematography was done splendily...there were a couple of scenes where a character would be delivering some dialogue, and it would show the other character...I don't exactly have a huge problem with it, but it was unsettling. It also needed some work, as in many cases, it did cut off part of a character's face, and made me feel like I was imprisoned in some sort of box...

I hate to say it, but I didn't like the ending. I expected something similar (And when the fight was over and done, I truthfully can say that I saw it coming...), but it wasn't as well executed as it could have been. Yes, I understand that the taxi driver was an FBI Agent, but there were a lot of ways the same sort of conclusion could have been reached in a cleaner fashion...once again, I'd hate to say it, but when the credits started to roll, I felt like I had missed out on something.

The editing was mostly well-done, though it needed some work...a few of the cuts were done too slowly, and a good amount of the lines seemed to have a considerable amount of space between them, even in heated conversations. Another thing was, I felt that a lot of great scenes (Or scenes that had the potential to be very well done) seemed to have been trimmed down a bit...there was a heated conversation in the car between DNR's Detective McArker and Docontheweb's FAST...it was ended too abruptly when a very character-based scene could have come up.

The voice-actors were stunning...Docontheweb delivered perfectly as FAST, DNR's detective was amazing, Kuroken gave great justice to mob boss Makano, and EthanRunt and Tremblett delivered beleviable lines as well. DeliriousStudios had a fantastic score composed for the film which really stood out...I loved it.

All in all, Mogulman, I am sorry to say that I was dissappointed by the wrap-up to the FAST trilogy (Though Del did say something of a prequel), but it was a very enjoyable film nonetheless. The story did have a few holes in it in places, and a lot of the convenient scenes (My gun ran out of bullets) were a bit too...well, convenient.

Anyways, Mogul, a very entertaining film, all in all!
4 Stars.

Outstanding Job, everything came together very well with this! At first there was a little time spacing between the dialog which i thought was going to ruin it but only seemed to be in the first few lines so good job on that! Other than that everything was really cool, but I think the ending could have explained itself a little more, or maybe i just need to watch he other two to understand again.

Overall great work! and a fabulous ending!

WOAH!! That was just excellent Mogul. I loved this, final part to the series.
I did really enjoy this series, i'm glad you're making more. In the first Fast you showed us that you were going to really make something of this cool action series of yours and by gum, you've done that in the sequel and in this movie. It was just so damn good, all the dialogue was really well written, the story was really good, i liked the way you told different parts of the story for this series in "Fast II" and in "Fast III". The voice-actors were excellent, DNR, Doc, etc, they were all great. The music was excellent. So was the editing, one little flaw for me though, I felt that there didn't need to be so many close-up shots, it sort of put me off as you were doing that shot quite a lot of times throughout the movie. I felt you could of used a different type of close up shots in some scenes in the movie as the close-up shots were used a lot.
But that's just one little thing I found to be a little bit bad dude, overall you've really made an excellent third movie to the series.
The ending was great, can't wait to the prequel later on this year. Great film dude, defiantly your best, they just keep getting better and better.
An amazing effort that does shows from the movie. Bravo Mogul!!!

Very good job, Mogul. This is definitely my favorite of the series. I really enjoyed the voice overs and the music was top-notch. I did notice a few problems, most have already been mentioined in earlier reviews(tigher editing etc.) But overall it was a great film, that I'm glad I could be a part of. Awsome job, Moguldude. :)

Great work, Mogul! The acting was excellent all around and the slight technical problems weren't that noticeable and seemed like they were intentional. I must say though that the action sequences surprised me because they didn't seem as polished as I'd hope they'd be. Sound problems are one thing, but action sequences seem more editing than sound for the most part. Also, it feels like you could have tightened up the beginning scene a bit.

Other than that, though, a very nice continuation of the series. :)

Albeit slower in pace of editing now with the music added, which is pretty good stuff, the film is stil brilliant. A great script highlights the final three major character's high points, and with a twist ending to boot, makes up for an epic finale of one of TMO's best action series. Roll on Autumn and the Fast prequal!

Great job on this installment. The music was awesome. I do believe the scenes could have been edited a little tighter some of the pauses were just to long. But over all incredible camera work and a great series of movies

Ah the final chapter!... And the Taxi Driver did it?

All the acting was well done...but the editing could have been tighter, it made the acting seem off pace, espcially in the opening scene. This movie works best when you have seen the first two, but I didnt understand Fast and the Detective didnt take on Makano together... espcially since Fast made the statement about being strange working together in the car ride to the bar.
These problems aside, taking the whole series together...a Damned Fine Effort.
My hat's off to you...
You get 4 stars!

A Fantastic end to the FAST Trilogy! Some of the best action editing out there mixed with superb, gritty, real voice acting and music that makes you want to jump out your seat and pull a gun on someone.
A real energizig masterwork, Congrats!

Good VO in this, but there's a big question mark over the writing. The dialogue was very disjointed and edited at a snail's pace. No two consecutive sentences from two different characters sounded natural - there was always an unnecessary pause inbetween.

The opening scene where the two main characters wake up displayed almost all of this film's problems. Stilted dialogue as I've mentioned, plus one of them unrealistically jumps to the conclusion that the other one's a cop - not only that, but he had a partner for 6 years (psychic?). Also, the editing was confusing. As elsewhere in the film - the camera was left on one character while the other was delivering lengthy dialogue. At times it looked like the person who was in shot was delivering the lines without lipsync, when in fact it was the other guy doing the talking.

The banter in the car - which could have been a terrific character scene was again very disjointed (although it looked sort of intentional this time). Get rid of the fancy tricks and just let the characters talk to each other! As soon as it looked like getting good the scene was faded out every time. By the fourth time, I was groaning out loud! It was frustrating to watch.

The bar scene - my least favourite unfortunately:

********** SPOILER WARNING ***************
Oh dear, I don't have any bullets!
Completely silly.
And then the "fire fight". Two people standing still shooting endless rounds at each other at close range and both dreadful shots with it. (that guy certainly wasn't a qualified cop with that kind of abysmal shooting - and for a hardened mob boss, the other was no better).

Eventually, as in all poor films - all the main characters die - the perfect copout (no pun intended). That's not to say this was an out and out poor film - but that IS what bad films tend to do:

Q. How do you end a story when you've no idea how to do it?
A. Kill everyone off.

*************************************************************

On the plus side, good music judiciously used and very good audio quality for the VO. It had the makings of a good story, the structure (barring the ending) was good - but the gaping flaws in this film, particularly in the editing, let this one down.
