Brilliant! A complex storyline but you tell it in such a way that you never get confused, excellent use of everything from props to mods to voice actors and free cam you're a very talented director and there's quite a few parts in it that give you a good laugh this is excellent work well done!

I thought you managed to start this movie off pretty well with a mysterious premise. The cast were solid and Jennifer Katuna was one of the show stealers! The story was ellaborate but at the same time, highly refreshing and entertaining. your use of sets, props, overlays and scenery variation really added to the content in this film. I felt the story was at a good pace and it really got deeper with each passing minute. Something of note was some of the VO's though, there was quite a bit of static which is always a tricky thing to have, but hopefully next time you could try and filter/cut them out using Audacity. Overall I think it was an excellent attempt and it really brought something refreshing to TMO as a whole. I look forward to seeing more from you as there is no doubt that you are improving from film to film!

Well..... wow! Where to start....
[WARNING! This review contains a lot of spoilers!]
I will say that I apologise for taking ages to check out this awesome movie. It was simply amazing. It was rather long [27 mins], but worth all of it and more. A very original movie. A good plot.
The plot got more deep as the movie carried on. I loved the way you told us some twists in the tale. The camera-work was exceptional. Really great stuff.
I must say that all the mods were fantastic! They really made this film look very special!!!! There was a lot of very cool custom content in this film, amazing overlays, nice backdrops, very nice music, good special effects and so much more.
The vo cast was incredible, each voice-actor brought their characters to life!!!
You did a great job getting an out-standing cast. I applaud you for doing that!
The editing was very impressive, i saw hardly, if any.... problems!!!!
I will also say that this movie was really entertaining and I was glued to the screen for the whole 27 mins.
I also loved the way that you made this film look really different to other films on TMO, for example: in the scene where Roger is nearly shot, but you made that scene look a bit different by having the camera zoom ahead to make us believe that he missed the bullets. I felt that was a very inventive idea.
Also, I loved some of ways you did the torture scenes, not because I love gory stuff and that gore is my kind of thing. It's just that I felt you made those scenes look really unique and new when one of the gang members would turn into a skeleton or even when one of them is being pulled along the floor to death.
In my opinion, they looked like different scenes or put it this way, you made those scenes so well shot, etc that they felt like scenes I have never seen in a TMO film before!
I really thought that looked really good, visually it did. I was very impressed by those scenes. Infact, you could say that I was really impressed by the whole film. This film was a sure delight, from start to finish, I was contently watching it, there was not a boring moment at all throughout the whole film.
I liked a lot of parts throughout this film, i especially liked the scene where the spirit in Roger's body told Roger about when he was killed a long time ago.
The reason I loved that scene where he was killed is because I loved the way you showed the way his body decomposed over time, that was a very inventive idea. Near the end, the film was getting really intense and gripping. I loved the bit right near where Mia's father was killed my Roger. I loved that scene because I liked the way that after Roger fired his rocket launcher, the camera-work of Mia's father's death was incredibly well done. It looked really great as it was a first perspective shot, i love it when film-makers do that. It's so clever.
I have to say that this film has a lot of enjoyable moments, actually.... this film had so many enjoyable moments, that I could only tell you my top 2!!!
After watching this film, I think people will get really inspired [like a lot of great films on TMO!] and think "Yes, this is what film-making is all about! To create a block-buster movie that has everything in it, drama , action, a good flowing plot and to make it as something as your own, something impressive that you can be proud of".
The sound-effects were a great little touch too. I can tell you really went for it with this film!!!!! In some cases i am a bit speechless of how amazing this film is, but with a lot of things to say about this film, I know exactly what to say. In other words, i'm saying that there's so much to say about a film as good as this, but we all know that films like this, which show us what can be achieved with this game/ what film-making is all about, that we might leave one thing out in our review as there are so many levels of the movie to talk about. This film had everything, intruguing drama, pop-corn action [as I put it], excellent modding work, spot on music and well chosen sound-effects. This is a tmo classic and will not be forgotten!!!
This is the only film by you i have seen which is a really fine piece of work and I'm glad to say that's the case with this film.
Also, i will say that the plot is this film was amazing, it kept getting more interesting as time went on and by the end, the film has been wrapped up very well and as a viewer ,you feel very satisfied.... well.. it's left this viewer very pleased indeedy!! Oh yeah, i also liked the way you had those scenes in the film when he was hallucinating/ having memories from the past. I really feel as if you couldn't of told anymore story in this film. An excellent film!!! Really, really, good!!!!
You should be very impressed with this film, it was top-notch. A really good film, one of which I can see you took a long time making it and it sure as hell as payed off I can see. Which is what you deserved. For this film to be a success. Great work. By far, one of the so many best films i've ever seen on TMO. This film is by far in my opinion, the best horror film on TMO right now which is filled with great action, drama and so much more!!!!
The ending was very well done and I was clapping as the film came to an end.
Overall, this is one hell of a big blockbuster film that is a must-see for any TMO'er!!!! I highly recommend this film. A very entertaining and enjoyable experience of a movie. Great work. A very good effort.

This must have taken a while to make. Your attention to detail does not go unoticed.

Thje voice acting is good throughout. I thought your cast did a fantastic job for the most part, and kept it up through this long production however some scenes could have been acted a touch better, and recorded better as well.

The story is a good one. Original, not too complexe and allows for the story to develop at a decent pace, something we don't see often enough.

Your use of overlays etc, gives the movie the fresh feel that so many seek nowadays.

Overall, an excellent production. Obviously a labour of love.

A grand story in a film that seems to alternate between solid and somewhat shaky execution. There are some definite great moments here, but at times there??s a sort of ??easiness?? to the way the story unfolds that gets close to feeling sloppy.

Voice acting is something that does not directly impact my reviews. Jennifer Katuna is, far and away, the best actor in this film. Sorrow13 also does quite well. The other actors, including yourself, have their moments ?? but at other times I felt came across a little flat. I think it resulted from a certain hesitation many people have when trying to give a more emotional performance.

Overall enjoyment: 32/35. I absolutely love the overall story here, but my enjoyment is hampered a little by certain editing concerns. There were also a few moments where believability came into play, particularly toward the end. It was also a touch strange that the final scene was shown after the credits.

Editing: 25/30. Good overall story flow, but some individual scenes play out a little awkwardly. Free-cam during the effects moments was used very well. However, during certain scenes, particularly conversations, I felt you could have chosen the animations better. Fades were used very well in a couple of places, such as the flashback with Norman ?? but in a few sparse places there was an awkward fade in or out.
Music was generally used well. Sound effects were appropriate, but sometimes sounded a little washed out ?? like they were too far in the background. Voice-overs always came through clearly, but one or two did have a slight background hum.

Production Value: 14/15. Plenty of good work here with both costumes and props, especially set dressing. The custom title sequence and closing credits were all quite good, though perhaps could have felt a little more complete. Between that and some of my editing concerns, I felt the production work was just a little short of getting a perfect score.

Characters: 9/10. Plenty of good characters here, with some solid flashback scenes to give us some background on the two leads (Roger and Norman). My one and only issue involved some believability with the way the final confrontation was handled, and how Roger reacts from there on out.

Dialog: 8/10. Dialog is generally reasonably good, but at times an easy-going style that didn??t always suit the content of the film. There were also some moments where it felt out of order. A key example was when the old mob boss wakes up, and his daughter initially seems pretty nonchalant about it while she??s on the phone, and then surprised a few seconds later.

Total: 88/100.

4 stars. Boy, I wish I could give this a 5, since it??s only 2 points away. :( But I simply must keep to my rating system.

My suggestions: My primary issues here involved some editing concerns, especially related to choosing appropriate animations and gesturing during conversation scenes. Consider putting a little more effort into keeping the camera focused on the speaker, and hiding animations that might feel out of place in the context of the scene.
Regarding the sound effects and voice-overs, I think some more time editing these in an external sound editor would have helped. They often sounded distant or washed out.

If some of these things had been addressed, this could easily have found its way onto my recommended films list. A good film with a great story nonetheless.

I finally had time to view this film in it's entirety. Sorry it took so long.

The Good:
The mods, free-cam use, the V.O.'s.
The story flowed very smoothly
Taking a historical group like the Knights Templar and putting them in a modern day scenario was a work of brilliance.
The flashback/dream sequences were a good touch. Showed more of what Roger was about.
The closing credits were outstanding.

The Bad:
Mia as the driver of the pink limo? Strange.

Overall:
A very well executed and excellently written film. Will there be a sequal? Is Roger really dead? The ending made me wonder.

Great Job a Great Filmmaker.

In most current TMO movies, it's unusual to see a length much longer than ten minutes. Having a run-time of 27 minutes is always a gamble, no one can keep the audience forever, but in this case it more than paid off. Your dedication to your work is noticeable from start to finish. Your voiceovers appropriate and well acted. In short, brilliant.

GREETINGS FROM L.M.A.O. STUDIOS!
Reviewing by JennyN

Holy cow was that amazing. So much to soak in. I have to admit I got lost a couple of times. But in the end, it worked out. I didn??t care for a couple of actor??s performances and some of their dialog was not very realistic. The filmmaking was brilliant and a real joy to watch! Great job!

Great Movie with an original idea, I liked it very much! The VO's were excellent as was the use of MOD's and set dressing, the music was chosen very well. The characters were well thought out and enhanced the movie greatly!

The sound was a little out of sync but not so much that it spoils the movie!
All in all great job and I hope to see more from you!

This was an Awesome movie, with a Great story, and wonderful cast. I thoroughly enjoyed it, in it's entirely. The music was perfect. I could have done without the coarse language, but the movie wasn't overflowing with it either. I found the visuals and sound effects both to be stunning. Overall: I would have to say that you did a Great Job on this one!!!

The Archaic Awards
Review

Story: 7/10 The story was interesting, but I felt there was too much story. By this I mean that there were too many characters and too much to sort out and deal with. I felt that this caused the movie to be way longer then was neccessary. I just did not understand why some of it happened and I felt that some of the scenes of the story could have been left out. I actually started to loose interest in the film.

Music: 4/5 Music was cool. It didn't grab my attention though. I felt it could have been a bit stronger.

VO/Subs: 10/10 Voice Over performances were good all around. The ones that stood out were your own and the female voice over. Basically you all did a great job.

Script: 5/5 Nothing that brought me to my knees begging for more, but it did move the story along which is always good.

Extras: 5/5 Great mods. I really liked some of the ideas you used. I think you used freecam to your advantage to help you make this movie and it payed off. Great job!

Editing: 12/15 This film could have been so much shorter and I would have enjoyed it so much more. Also, I felt some of the scene transtion lacked in areas. The film was pretty good though, and I can't wait to see more from your studio. Great work!

Final Score: 43/50

A surprisingly dense fantasy-horror-action story ?? with the unlikely combination of mobsters and knight templars - with a lot of depth and some instances of excellent voice acting. The length of the movie is well justified here, as editing is very tight and the plot moves forward at a steady pace. Jennifer Katuna is a revelation to me here, with a very convincing acting performance. Sorrow13 and Rysto do a very solid job here as well. But some of the side characters?? voices sounded way too young and detached, which did take away from the movie, and affected my viewing? Another aspect that distracted me was the volume level of the music. It seemed to be constantly too low and background-like.

Nevertheless, this movie is still a very pleasant surprise from a promising and upcoming studio. The visual effects, set dressing, costumes generally merges well into the story. Camera movement was put to good use. But the highlight to me is the ??possessed?? main character??s voices talking to him. Although I just cannot believe anybody would say ??yes?? to the question ??can I take your body??? :)

Amazing movie, a breath of fresh air. the storyline was inventive and the way you executed the story was highly impressive. the voice acting was also great. you also managed to create your own universe, which is really well done. I didn't really get the ending, but that's the only flaw I can think of.

A Huge amount of work has gone into this and it really shows.
The voice work was impressive, the editing was tight and mods used worked really well.
The music was a litte quiet but this did nothing to detract from the truely excellent story.
The Plot here is something special, it's well scripted, well paced and most importantly very entertaining.
I enjoyed this alot.

Some very inventive ideas in this story. I liked the exchanges between Roger and Norman in particular. Jennifer_Katuna displays an impressive acting range in this film although, like most characters here, the VO sound quality was a little bit on the tinny top-heavy side. A little bit extra on the lower frequencies in the equalisation would have solved this. Roger held the film well, although his performance in the crucial war scene ("no .. no . no") - well, it needed to be alot louder and with much more energy in order to express the true shock and horror of such an event.

There were some good sound effects - such as the hilarious death scene of one of the flunkies. But others weren't so good - all of the gun-shots were nowhere near loud enough.

Music seemed to do its job - I didn't really notice it (a good thing); maybe at times a bit too low in the mix. Looking at some scenes again, it's like someone's got a radio on in the background rather than a film score.

Good use of mods/props, I liked the portal that spewed forth demons! And also the way the gun was made to move towards our hero.

Editing was patchy, the fight scenes had the right pace to them, but crucial stages in the fights seemed to be missed out too readily so one character would suddenly assume an advantage over the other one for no apparent reason.

But the main reason this film is firmly at home with 4-stars and not knocking on a 5's door was the sloppy ending to the whole film:

*************** SPOILER WARNING!!!! ****************

He gets arrested and seems to be sentenced to die on the very same day (not much due process there). It's not made too clear that he "dies" before they inject him. Anyway, he ends up in a cringe-worthy scene where all the characters from the film, good & bad, are sipping martinis on the beach in the afterlife. Then, without warning, we get what seems to be an outtake reel - a total no no unless you've properly faded to black and ended the story first!

Instead, confusingly, the film finishes with an excellent performance by Jennifer as the British doctor as it's explained to us about Roger not being injected. But by then, this film had already self-destructed - I wasn't interested in suspending belief for this story anymore as it had been turned into a comedy at the last minute.

"The Path We Choose" is an apt title for this film as far as the ending goes, the filmmakers certainly didn't "choose wisely".

***********************************************

So, overall, a phenomenal effort with lots of good scenes in it. Some technical flaws, but a good story up until the messy ending.

That was certainly a very creative and inventive film with clever set dressing and a gripping story that stuck with me right until the final frame. You really created a beautiful world with this film, and you hard work and effort showed.
The film still had a few flaws. Overall the editing was near perfect, but at time it seemed to have jumped around, and while well-acted for the most part, some of the VO's felt unauthentic and nonchalant. But overall it was a good job by all the actors.

I loved every second of this enticing film, it was a perfect Sunday afternoon treat!
Perfect job, well done!

Well I was in the thing but I still thought it was great. Sometimes the sound effects were off cew but still brilliant. An excellent script coupled with an excellent cast (no fingers pointed) and a plot that, if I didn't know whatwas going to happen, would have kept me guessing to the end! Great use of music and great overlays.
