Film Description
Leo, Mike and Michelle found a great way to pass the time this weekend. A pity it may be their last.

Are you watching TV... Or is it watching you?

ULTIMATE TMO'ER - WEEK 2: This movie was made for the Ultimate TMO'er competition in which a movie is made in 48 hours-ish with restrictions given every 12 hours of what's in it.

Mod Credits:
Black and White Cellar by Ozman
Black and White Makeup by Ozman
Title and Static Overlays by jackalbane

Note: Thank you to all who have reviewed the movie. I'm overwhelmed with the movie's reception.
Note Dos: It's official. I have been eliminated. *sigh* Oh, well. Good luck to everyone else in the competition! I'll get you next year! :D

Very clever idea, executed very well.

Your work on the movie shows that a filmmaker can come up with a good idea and knock it out in a short amount of time - it was creepy and effective, and what mods you used really enhanced the experience.

Great work - one of the top movies in this weeks competition. Good luck!

Fantastic enrty in the Ultmate TMO'er contest... this was really well done...it had all the great elements of a horror..the only thing that might have made it better was darker lighting. real nice job!! and an even better twist on the whos watching who concept.

Great job here, jackalbane. I was very impressed with this movie. I like how original it is. Not to mention you seem to have met all the requirements to the competition with ease. I can tell that you put alot of work into this over the last day or so. Good luck in the Ultimate TMOer. I can tell horror is definitely your genre...and if not it should be :p

Oh, wow! Now that's horror! What a great entry in the Ultimate TMOer. It uses all the restrictions imposed to its favor... The frisky flute tone sets the comedic tone in the beginning, the aint over scene is used at the right time. Editing is great. Great idea, well delivered. Best entry I've seen this week.

Great concept and very cool b&w mods. Loved the ending (though I wish it would have carried on with that gaze for another ten minutes). Tight. Good stuff.

This one was nice, to the point, and pretty much a perfect little movie. Mr. Clover's voice was awesome, and the effects really were standout.

The ending - woo. Creepy. Honestly one truly chilling little feature.

Very clever script writing. Your use of the black and white made this movie that much better.

Keep up the good film making!

A creepy horror movie, with a good storyline, but the end comes very quickly. The editing is good but could have been better, in my taste, some transitions are missing. Good work on mods using and voice over acting. My rating : 4,5.

Nice plot.

THE GOOD: Some nice overlays. Some good sound effects. Pretty good VO's. Some good editing. And a good storyline.

THE BAD: Maybe try getting some custom music? I am sick of all the in-game music.

4 Stars

This is a nice horror short. It's also proof that too much TV can be bad for you and comes across as a play on the theme popularised by The Ring. The stand out sequence for me was the bathroom scene. That was really well edited. You also made real good use of the games music.

Hey the movie was good for a 48hours work. I'd like the story and voice :)
I don't know if original music of the game was an obligation, but if it was not the case, please try to find other music.

A great execution of a great concept. Genuinely creepy and it actually gave me goose bumps. That final scene was inspired--it made me want to turn the frigging monitor off! I'm sorry to hear of your elimination--that was truly a great job (and in such a short time frame as well). Regardless, it is a winner in my book.

This proves that it's easy to make a great movie without fancy-pants mods, and other complicated stuff. It's a sign of a good film maker.
This is also the first time that a movie on here has actually creeped me out. That thing at the end, I believe it means that I'm next? I guess I don't have much time left!

That's what I'm talkin' about! That was fantastic. What with the time limits and other restrictions placed on you, you have certainly crafted one fine film. I think I would actually like to see this done over in a longer format (and I don't think that very often). It reminded me of a horrific Pleasantville. Good luck in the competition.

Awesome movie, it was a little funny at the beginning and then it eased into the horror!

Wow! A terrific entry into the competition! You had an amazing story with some terirific eye candy. I must say that I really enjoyed the original premise. A very refreshing sight to the horror genre. This film easily deserves five stars. The Vos were well delivered and the some of the camera angles were shot quite well.I wish you best of luck in the competition!
