Film Description
Follow a maniac's strange decent into his own madness, in this highly disturbing short film. From raw, unnerving shots. To the ultra powerful, original ambient score. This movie will not only shake your mind, but your very soul, with it's dark, artistic style and unflenching take on pure evil. Directed by S. Von. Kissler

WARNING: The following film may not be for you! It contains very touchy subject matter and might not be for everyone. If you are heavily offended or effected by any type of subject dealing with God or religion, please do not watch this movie.

(Flips thoughts: This strange movie was primarly designed to ask more questions, than give any real answers. The film has no real plot and basically centers around one man discussing his own sanity. Everything else, like where he's going, and who he really is, is all left up to the viewer's imagination. That's how I wanted it, and I think it works well for this type of "art house" style film. I'm very pleased with the overall outcome of this project, and personally think this is my best work to date.)

CUSTOM MUSIC: flipmanburn - 2007

Very, very, very good. It didn't have voice-overs, though the sound effects you utilized and the narration brought this film to life. It had a very deeply depressing lighting scheme that expressed the nature of the traumas that the main character expresses...the freecam and editing was top-notch and the overall effect was a very creepy and utterly satisfying sensation. This is an amazing horror film...I can't wait to see what else you can whip up.

Oh wow! As you stated in the movie description this is really a disturbing art house horror movie. Congratulations, you did a excellent job! The movie's disturbing and intense atmosphere gave me a real cold shiver as I've watched it. I think your story is very original as I've never saw here on TMO that a priest turned into sick minded killer. The visual effects are state of the art and they are giving the movie a real art house look. The creepy sound effects and the music fits in perfectly and boost up the disturbing atmosphere of the movie. The use of the free cam is also fantastic. Even without VO's I've thought I can hear the priest in my mind. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece of horror movie with us. 5 stars and two thumbs up from me! :)

Great piece of Work. The black space was a good pause I thought between the scenes & some awesome background sounds & music were used..

Brilliant movie making!!!
I loved the story and i really liked the way in which you filmed it. The subtitles were very well written and provided a witty dialouge which i thoroughly enjoyed!!!
The music in this movie is what really set it up! It really suited the theme of a maniac!
I cant really find anything to criticise. Maybe making it a bit longer wouldnt harm it, but thats the best criticism i have of this wonderfully made flick.
This is definately one of the best horror films on TMO. A very well deserved 5 stars!!!

I actually found it amazing, even though it was made during the 1950's era. I liked the feel to it...like a demonic movie with fear and terror!

Outstanding. Great choice of using the 50's hand colored stock to give it that certain creepy contrasty look. The music/sound effects reminded me a lot of a movie about shizophrenia called "clean shaven". Pretty good story line and dialogue. I personally felt like the ending broke the tension created by the rest of the movie but theres still plenty here to love.

Not bad, not bad at all. Now what I would like to point out in this movie, is that the atmosphere was set perfectly. I loved how the footage had a 1956 red overlay which really set the mood. The script had a good feel to it as well. The only problem I had with this movie was. Quote Dulci"All of his motivations stemmed from an overdeveloped sense of morality and God, yet he went to a prositute and paid for her services?"
Now I agree with Dulci 100% about that. It was the one scene that stood out the most in minor errors. Still this movie had a eerie feeling that kept me interested the entire time. Feel free to PM when you have another movie out. Thumbs up!!!

Okay I didn't like the idea of a psycho priest thinking he is doing the work of god when he is really doing the work of the devil but I tried to review this with an open mind. This movie was written and directed well though VOs could have made this movie one of the best horrors on TMO but due to the fact I didn't like the story and lack of VOs I'm giving this a 4 stars.

- thejoe8pizza

Well no VOs and reading though a 7 mintue movie was kinda tough but the get background music made up for that but then again maybe a movie like this is better off with VO. The music and the lighting helped creat a very dark atmoshphere that fit the movie well. It was creepy but the good creepy it had it's own creepy horror-like style.

Excellent. Very dark and provocative. The 'film noir' style didn't require VOs in my opinion, i thought the subtitles were much more poinient. I love the atsmophere that you created with the lighting and sound - fitted the action perfectly. I was a little dissapointed with the very final scene, i found it unnecessary and it kind of 'cheapened' the feel of the film. We already know the priest is f***ed up!

Check out my first 2 releases if you get chance. I'd really appreciate the feedback

cheers

Superb sickening film. I ain't never going to church again ;)

THe upsides:

Plot - is very well paced, very chilling and sickening.

Setting and SFX - Are often ignored when creating the right atmosphere for movie. Here though, the darkened sets and eerie light do miracles to support the creepy feeling of the entire movie. Two thumbs up for the scenery.

Audio - the sound effects are amazing. At one point I nearly screamed ;-)

No-VO Bonus - It's especially hard to creep the audienece with nothing but subtitles... You managed to do it so well! The movie made me sick (in a good way)

Downsides: None or this wouldn't be a 5 star movie

Overall - So creepy I really felt like puking, so chilly I was shivering. Two thumbs up, kudos and encore!

Great story and movie.
Very good atmosphere in it and the soundeffects supported this very well.
The subs was very good for to read, but maybe Vo´s would have been better for the Movie.

An interesting look into the mind of an insane priest. The camera-work, lighting, and music all did well to fit the mood here. For myself, I just saw a priest who??d gone insane, using his own interpretation of the ??word of God?? to explain away his crimes (after all, he wasn??t much of a priest in the first place if he was using a prostitute??s services).

Overall enjoyment: 30/35. It??s an interesting film and narration. Perhaps it??s my personal belief system (somewhere between atheist and deist) that allows me to watch this film without sensing it being offensive; nor did I find it to be powerful enough to ??shake my mind and soul??. It just sort of is what it is.

Editing: 28/30. Most of the editing here is perfect. Scene selection, scene flow, and camera angles are used to full advantage. I did feel a couple of moments where the screen went black lingered just slightly long. A few sub-titles had the tiniest of grammatical or spelling errors (a missing comma, ??condemned?? was spelled wrong).
Music and sound are used to full effect here ?? great work there!

Production Value: 13/15. The overall simplicity of the production keeps this from going any higher. We only see three characters and a few sets, costumes, and props. The quick opening title sequence was a good attempt, though the text on the studio title needed to be either bolded or larger (the vertical strokes on ??PRODUCTION?? were too thin to see) ?? but that??s a minor quibble.

Characters: 9/10. The primary character is explained thoroughly, and there is enough information there about the other two characters we see. So some good character building here.

Dialog: 7/10. This relies solely on the narrative. It??s a reasonably strong narrative, but as mentioned earlier ?? for me it was just sort of what it is. I think perhaps having a more poetic nature would have made this much more powerful for me.

Total: 87/100. Only a few points away from the 5.

My suggestions: I think overall, you??ve definitely accomplished most of what you wanted here, so it??s difficult for me to give any real suggestions. I do think having a more poetic narrative would have helped, so perhaps that??s something to consider. I also wonder about the prostitute thing ?? viewers will see that and immediately say what I did: ??gee, some priest this guy is!?? For any religious viewer who might have initially started feeling shaken by the first story, this moment could easily stop that feeling in its tracks.
The technical notes I mentioned in the editing and production value categories are things you may want to take advice from as well. A bit more work on those overlays to ensure they are clearly visible in online quality.

***MOMC Review***

What better way to critique the pervasive spread of religious hypocrisy that grips the western world than to make a movie featuring a deranged, mass-murdering, necrophilic, "morally righteous" pond scum of a priest? Splendidly over the top, beautifully decadent, and popping with all sorts of expressionistic cinematic stylings, Smothered Hope provided the chills requisite of the horror genre while giving us a satirical representation of religious zealousness and the moral hypocrisy rippling throughout the mass of religious institutions. Because of that, this movie is more than just a shock-fest. I think the added layers found in this movie give this horror mini-masterpiece a delicious art-house appeal, allowing audiences to dive into the film's psychoanalytic underpinnings, eroteric psychosexual imagery, and barbed critiques of its subject. Dark, gritty, and grimy beyond belief, the visuals of this movie bring the macabre to the surface while the brilliant sound editing truly delivers on the fright factor.

At moments, I sat here and read the narration aloud, because I pined for this character to have a voice; I wanted to hear him snarl, growl, and speechify like every other religious blowhard who flounts about like some over-theatrical wolf in saint's clothing.

This is an exceptional psychological portrait of a character going over the edge. Great stuff!

Hmmm - not entirely honest in the description I reckon. I saw more than enough evidence that showed this to be a direct attack on religion (and rightly so).

All I saw in this film was a character who, like Ted Haggard if he lost it a little bit further than he's lost it already, starts doing "God`s Will" vigilante style (and alot of them want to do that). If you read the Bible, God's Will is pretty clear cut. It's brutal, misogynistic, genocidal, infanticidal, and I would be stoned to death for doing this review on "the Sabbath" (it's Sunday now) [apart from the obvious unforgiveable crime of blasphemy no matter what day I did it on].

Whether intended or not, I actually saw the way God metes out Justice in the Bible to be almost perfectly embodied by the priest in this film. Indeed, the insanity of this character is nothing compared to the God as shown in the Bible. That's why I, rightly or wrongly, get the idea that this is an intentional attack on the actual teachings of the Christian religion according to scripture.

This priest takes his "morality" directly from God's book - and he does it in a way that follows very logically from The Word as depicted in The Bible. (see above for what that morality actually is).

Is religion and unreason the cause of this man's actions or a symptom? Well, it's not nice reading either way. For it implies that religion either causes insanity or that such is derived from it. I didn't see any "descent" into madness anyway. He was rather "fundamentalist" in his views and actions right from the start (lol).

I think this film has succeeded in asking questions, and no mistake, at a time where religion threatens even the most liberal societies and threatens to remove science from the classroom for our children.

On a technical level, very good horror camera shots and atmospheric music.

So - I shouldn't be too hard (I don't live where you live), but the description shied away a bit from the actual meaning of the film as I saw it ("see you in church!") ;) - but very brave film nevertheless. I wish it well.

Lol - I won't be seeing you in church today. :)

The music was definetely powerful. Most of the scripting was well-done, but there was one large plot hole I couldn't get past. All of his motivations stemmed from an overdeveloped sense of morality and God, yet he went to a prositute and paid for her services? Perhaps, if you felt this was absolutely necessary, he would have turned his rage against himself as well?

Interesting scene choices and camera usage.

A good horror movie! Now I do like a horror movie especially one thats more creepy than gory, an all out bloodfest is very rarely scary! Your movie was good in that it was more creepy, we dont know all the answers and I like that. The last bit did spoil it a bit, but not enough to make a real difference. The freecam was very well used, I enjoyed it!

Posted on March 8, 2007
- colingaiser

A perfect manipulation of sound effects, editing, and freecam made this a dazzling horror to behold. Although it lacked a true storyline, you made up for this with a stunning array of impressive techical elements and truly frightening sequences. The entire scheme of ambient music and sounds did an excellent job portraying this morbid, shallow world the priest was living in. Magnificent work from a magnificent director!

Good use of sound, camera work and story. The thing that killed it for me was the last shot and the last line. Went from a serious decent into madness and became a garden variety thriller. Without the last scene, this film would play much much stronger. Less is more in this case without going over the top. It is creepy, and that is helped along with the strong soundtrack and editing.

I liked it overall. I liked the dark settings, the mood, the flow, the execution of the film, with the exception of the above mentioned last little bit. A strong voice over would really make this shine. Just one voive as the lead and it could be really unsettling.

Ohh, How interesting. I really liked the music, as it set the mood of the movie really well. The story was well-written, and nice. The editing was great, and the sub-titles were easy to read, and at a reasonable pace.

It seems to me, that this preist did the work of the devil, and not the god himself, hence his evil appearence. It was very entertaining, and I was on the edge of my seat with full anticipation. Great job!

Film on!

Movies about Priests doing evil are always disturbing,I suppose because we consider them some one we can turn to to be safe, this movie was really well done from the music to the camera work, and its premise of a Priest doing good by doing evil excellent, I wonder will we see more of this Priest bringing the lords word to the sinners.

Creepy music creepy priest creepy ending shivers.

The plot writing direction and the older style of film worked well here.

The only thing I thought took away from the move was in some case the long black spaces paused between certain scenes.

Awesome.

Thought provoking movie...religion is a subject that intrigues me most...I find a lot uncertain and often contradictory and this appears to be reflected here in the priest's actions and the movie's consequences.

Looking at smothered hope's other qualities...some excellent editing, great use of sound effects and a truly creepy score.

Nice work.

The camera-work and style were really good. But the plot itself was a bit ingenuous and there were also too many 'black' seconds, that slowed down a lot the action, as well as the lack of VOs...

I liked the idea so much, with a man who thought he helped God by killing the ones who didn't belive. To me it seems a lot more likely he was helping satan then god. I think Vo's would have made this movie even better and less of those black shots. Good idea, good script but it kinda felt like a video you watch to convert into christianity. The last subtitle "See you at church" ruined the whole film for me and was a big part of making one star go away. That line felt very psycho-happy in some sort of way and I just didn't feel like it fit..
Good film though.

The real peak out of this film, isn't the intense, soul shattering, industrial soundtrack, (although that definitely helped drive the pace), nor was it the excellent writing that pulls one into this labyrinth of religieous ferver. No, the thing that really seperates this film, from others of it's genre, is the true look of stunned terror on the victims' faces when they realize they've been praying to another false messiah . . .

Strange as it may sound, I read the words aloud throughout the production...

And came away marveling at how badly you need to re-release this with VO. This film -begs- for it.

Beyond that, wonderfully warped work!

GREETINGS FROM LMAO STUDIOS!

My god! A genuine horror that makes your skin crawl.

*Spolier Reiview*
THE GOOD: Where to start...The music. My lord the music. That eerie monotone/choir sounding music was so perfect for the tone of this amazing cinematic masterpiece. From the very first shot of the father in the car, we knew we were in for something different. The dialog was brilliant. First this tale is playful and tame, which sucks you into the fathers tale, then turn to a thunderous shock of fear and disbelief. A father who kills in the name of god? To be so blasphemously blunt and make it work with excellence through beautiful cinematography such in using red overlays is pure genious.

THE BAD: Yes the trans scenes did seem too long, but you are thinking "what??s going on?" which makes you pay attention. Intended?

The is one of the VERY few films to be book marked by L.M.A.O. Studios.

This film has been awarded THE AKIRA AWARD OF EXCELLENCE - " The first MUST SEE horror of 2007 "

A very good foray into the disturbed mind of a troubled character. Most of the writing was quite good, and the use of sound and music was absolutely masterful. I appreciate the presentation of a fallen holy man, but in my opinion you went a little too far in depicting the depravity of the character so that the personality became inconsistent at times. In particular I found it odd that he would regularly pay a hooker for her services; he is presented as a man doing the will of God (which is what makes this piece so disturbing), so it is unlikely he would willingly sin. I think it better if he was simply tempted by her looks and details of her sordid deeds during confession, and then killed her because of his temptation and desire for her (mistaking his own lust for her sin of seduction). As a further suggestion, this would've been even more effective with voice overs (but I certainly did not deduct points for that aspect). Overall, a very well presented and exeucted horror piece.

Yay! Flip's back! And with his most twisted flick yet!
All I have to say is: Wow. I dunno if I was more enjoyed or freaked out while watching this. It had a villian I've never seen before, and his motives were even wierder. Goin through this movie was like waling through a forest at dark...you never knew what to expect (nice line huh? i made it up myself) Before watching this, I knew this was gonna be a sweet movie, but you surpassed my expectations. Music was crazy (opening credits), dialogue was readable, and the editting was fantastic (loved the black pauses)

Definitely different. I enjoyed the movie very much. The camera work and creepy music were well done. The story is where it left me with the feeling that something was missing. Not that what was presented wasn??t excellent, because it was; it??s just that I wanted to know more about the priest and his psyche. But maybe that was your intent, to have the viewer wanting more. This film proves that a movie maker doesn??t necessarily need voiceovers or over-the-top MOD to be good. Four stars for the movie, one star for proving the masses wrong. Good job!

This was great. It was a kind of horror movie I hadn't seen before, and the type of fear that you don't see very often. It wasn't "ZOMG, sumthin jumped awt at me!!!!111", it was actual fear. Like someone else said earlier, you set a very good, depressing atmosphere.

First of all, I never take away stars for lack of vo, but I still have to comment on it. For a movie of this caliber, it's such a shame you didn't hire voice actors/actresses. That woulda set this off tremendously. Still a well written script and some fine editing made this quite scary. The sound fx were brilliant and really made the movie that much scarier. For that, I give ya 5 stars. Well done and good luck in the charts!

With a disturbing array of sound effects and hypnotic music, this film was enjoyable from the point it started. The use of lighting in the diner scene was very well done, it gave the viewer a sense of discomfort. The black spaces you had set things off-track, which was good because the viewer did not know what would happen when the scene came back, it was very gut-wrenching. But of course, the bread of the cake, the story, it was different from what I have ever seen here on TMO, and yet the story was so naturally flowing it felt like a real short movie.

My only complaint is that you need voice overs, depending on who you get, this movie could have been more horrific than it was.

CRITICS CENTER & PINNACLE ENTERTAINMENT presents Alliance Grade Detailed Review w/ hosts Jeremiah & Dr. Googlestien with Reviewing Squad/WCP

Produced at World Studios in Toronto, Ontario
Sponsored by TMO TV

Feature Comment: The most creepiest and disturbing to ever hit TMO. This was some very scary [censored!] here. Flipmanburn this is easily your best film and the best non-VO film on TMO.

Genre Feeling:
99%
Man this could scare the [censored!] out of some people. We remembered when DNR made a film similar to this when we go inside a killer's head and we haven't seen that concept since and this easily topped that. The darkness of the film made it a true classic there's no doubt about that. The red color and camera made this an instant horror classic here on TMO.

Movie Quality:
85%
The overall movie quality of the movie was hardly a factor, but we expect more since were way into our second year of reviewing movies on TMO. We like this movie as it is. It kept its meaning of a creepy dark film. The music was some of the best we heard in a horror flick especially with the opening. It fitted perfectly with this movie. The subtitle work was superb. The overall old quality was perfect for this movie.

Writing/Story:
98%
This was definintely a well-written scare. The priest was definintely pretty damn creepy and the whole atmosphere you gave the movie was greatly done on your part. We really loved how you were able to shape up the whole story surrounding his thoughts putting the viewer inside his head. Great descriptions and detail on the victims also. It really gave us a good feel of what to expect. The killing scenes were without the best we've seen on TMO just how cruel they were. WOW!

Helpful Statement:
Flipmanburn we've been a big fan of your studio and its fun to see how you've grown as a filmmaker and we think you have a winner with this one no doubt about it. We will definintely like to see you grow on a level as far as adding more done with sound effects. You should definintely incorporate custom sound effects to give it that feel of creepiness. You have all of the great filmmaking skills. You've got that Italian horror flick blood in your body and it always comes out artsy and glamorous. Just such beautiful images for this film so keep that part up.

A great horror film, that the music made it get the creepy feeling, and much more to the atmosphere.

I didn't like the begining, I think the music choice could have gone better for that.

Quite a ride in maniac alley...
I very much like the overall tone of this movie,
largely due to the excellent soundtrack and great
use of camera angles.
The narration style of basically reading a mans confessions
works very well and although there is no real conclusion,
the ending works (cool last line and image)
It really draws you in !
Great, great film making :)

Wow!
Great idea, and very well executed! < no pun intended. :) >
Seriously though, a truly deep, gritty, troubling, and yet disturbingly believable plotline.
Great editing and freecam. (I NEED to get S&E!) Also loved the out of game sounds you used. Perfect mood setters you chose in your sounds.

Great work, and thank you for checking out my movie, Death on Two Feet.
If you have a moment, maybe you could view and tell me your thoughts on DEATH on TWO FEET - CHAPTER 2. I would love to hear your comments on this one (especially, since in my opinion, its better than Chapter One, but I am biased I suppose LOL)
Thanks again, mate! :)

I was very torn with this review, you had some of the best and worst elements of filmmaking in your movie...

Firstly, your use of sound effects was good and bad. In some parts it was excellent, the lightning bolt at knife stabs, subtle reminders of the reflection of the story through every detail. Yet an overused demonic laugh cursed your film. Sometimes I found the whispers repetitive, every absence of image seemed to be filled with a sound effect, sometimes the isolation of silence is powerful. Yet, you ignored this. Sometimes the best sound technician must balance his dreams for powerful effect and know that without sound, you can accomplish the most powerful effect.

Next, your great skill was subtitles. Not just subtitles we could read, but subtitles we wanted to read. Your film was better than most Voiced films, you invested the hours of casting efforts into important aspects of your film, you made few sacrifices and bled hours for the quality. I think you actually invested time into the subtitles and read them more than once, which puts you dramatically ahead of your subtitles competition for the most part. I read the lines aloud, and lived through the character, your use of the "..." was as well used as any novelist and perfect word choice balanced the script nicely. It was a well put together script, I'd liked to have seen it longer though.

The film seems to be a man reading his diary, driving a car. We're given little information about Father Lucas behind what he tells us, with all the great visuals you ignored telling any part of the story through clear visuals. We were given no depth into the character beyond his belief he was a messenger for God. Who was he before? What will he be? I know it was said before, but "where is he driving?" If the car would've gotten in an accident it would've been predictable, but at least some kind of an ending. You establish early on a great method of using a cliff hanger and then ignore it completely. The car drives off, we're given nothing more than a journal entry. There is so much depth you could bring to this well-thought out character I feel this story is merely a fraction of the idea, and I want so bad to know the whole story. Has he always been evil? Does he realize the errors of his way? What happens next? Such a short film disregards important details, even cliff hangers have to have built us up so high that the adrenaline of the fall fills our need for emotional lift. The beginning was as same as the end, we are given a character without any roundness.

Film wise the movie was solid. Perfect! Your skill with the free camera and attention to detail is right up there with Chuck, and other classics. Amazingly well done in some aspects, when the shirt of Lucas seems to disappear into the background it is perfect. You did a great job with the aspect of The Movies people find so hard. I noticed none, or very few, modifications and yet you fired on every cylinder that you cannot teach, your skill was far better than mine.

Yet I am a man of story, and your story was not 5 stars perfect. I fiddled with your score on this film for a while, and I think that 4 stars will challenge you, hopefully you pursue this character deeper, I would love to learn more about him, he is well constructed and detailed in your head and I would like to see the ideas transcend onto the screen. People should watch this movie, it is well made. But everyone should watch what you make next, with a stronger script I think you can accomplish anything, TMO should reserve a position in the stars for you my friend.

Great comeback movie, Flip! The editing and the sound were the highlights for me. The script is good, and I enjoyed the little things ?? like the narrator??s consciousness in addressing the viewer. The camera work is also very effective, such as in certain close-ups of the victims. A great exercise in the religious-horror genre.

On the downside I felt the plot itself didn??t grab me as much as it could have. It felt like you were just flexing your muscles in that department. I also missed the presence of music.

Nevertheless, all the positives were more than enough to make me enjoy the movie ?? especially in the attention to the visual and the sound. Now don??t forget to submit to MoMc!

PROS:
Great atmosphere. Gritty subject and overall feeling. Good music choice that added to the atmosphere. Cool story that reminded me a little of Fraility.

CONS:
The two stories of the first woman and second are too similar. Some words sounded a bit off to me, but nothing huge at all.

OVERALL: A gritty film packed with a creepy atmosphere and a cool story.

Glad to see you're back in the game. Check out An Eye for An Eye EP 3 if you have time. TAKE CARE.

Very creepy. I kind of like the simplicity behind the characters reasoning as well. Yes, he was crazy, but he just didn't do it for no reason. Also, the music really helped the mood. Glad to see you back, Flip! Excellent work!

Great story, good impact, great use of sound fx. I love the film stock and coloring. The story concept is very appealing to me.
My one major problem is that it didn't end well. I didn't feel the whole story was told. Why was he driving? Was he running, going to another person, leaving someone, going to church? I just feel that the ending left too much untold.

Good stylistic touch, and proves you can still make impacting movies with subtitles. The overall story could've been expanded, but you did good with what you had; although, by the end I was left wanting a little more closure. I felt that maybe the whole time he was driving, he may have been running from the police, but no, that was not the case. The audience is left to believe he was merely driving home, which is fine, but I still felt like it should have more.

Even though my opinion is that it should have been longer, it doesn't hurt my overall opinion of the film, and I highly recommend this to anyone else. In face it has received my Murpheykid Recommendation. Good job with an excellent movie.

Great movie. I liked the lighting... Dark and damp and also the music... Freaky stuff!!! It could have been expanded but as you said, it was a short movie!!! I really liked it and the camera angles were flawless. Can't wait till I get S&E! Good luck with future projects and i've bookmarked your studio...

What a straaaaaaaange film indeed. I was hooked, no doubt about that. I was left wondering, is this actually the work of God? or Satan?. Very interesting take on religion and you've put your own little spin on it. I thought the use of music was good although it felt a bit more like ambience than a score. Good and Readable Subtitle Pace and a great color/colour scheme used for the film which creates a very dark and moody sensation. Something to be creditted is your dialogue and sound-effects.From the opening 10 seconds I was intruiged as to who this priest (or so called) was and what his story was. In my opinion, It was a nice but brief story that can sooooo be expanded if you wanted to. For instance, what is his origins? what is this rage in him? what is responsible for the rage?? god? satan? or is he just mad. How long has he been doing that for? .. so many questions that I would like to see answered.

All in All a great return to TMO after a break and I look forward to seeing a sequel if possible.

Nuke Well In All The Dark Matter In The Universe!!!!
