This is a short introduction to a planned series, where a human (or human-like) race are forced on a voyage to find a new planet to call home. The premise is sound, and we're given some decent background information. One does hope, however, that future episodes will feature a more fleshed out storyline, and give us some better insight into some of the individual characters.

Overall enjoyment: 26/35. I like the concept. The story and characters could use a lot more attention. There are a number of other details that I'll get to that detracted from my enjoyment of the film.

Editing: 22/30. Scene selection is generally good. Some scenes flow quite well, but at times feel a bit "skimpy". I'll discuss this in my suggestions section at the end. The sub-titles stayed on screen long enough, and I only detected a few instances of misspellings. Music is chosen fairly well.

Production Value: 11/15. The costumes and props here are quite good. I'm not sure I've ever used the "Alien World" set, but it looked like you put down some set dressings there to fill the battlefield. This film relies on the default opening title and credits. Good job with the background information at the beginning, with the narrative sub-titles.

Characters: 6/10. The characters react in a believable manner. However, we never really get to "meet" any of them.

Dialog: 6/10. Again, the dialog that is there is fine; but all it does is get the job done. It would be nice to get some more depth.

Total: 71/100.

My suggestions: While the concept is sound, the film on the whole feels like it lacks any depth. We're given some good background information at the beginning, but nothing significant after that. For each future episode, work on fleshing out a complete story, and personalities and backgrounds on individual characters. Do that and this series could blossom into something great.
I mentioned in the editing section that the scenes often feel "skimpy". For example, during the alien ambush: We see the characters in a short firefight, in a scene that plays out pretty much verbatim with the default camera angle. Then they flee and run off to their shuttle. As with a number of scenes in the film, it feels like more could happen here.
Consider looking into making some custom overlays for the opening title. They can help give a more professional polish to the film, and make it feel like more of a production.

it was pretty good. but there were a few problems I would think you could change to the story. First off i dont mind there was no VO i understnad not everyone has a micro phone, but when the camera looks like one person is talking dont let it go over the the other person and they start talking and they are saying the same thing. When also the Aliens where attacking you said Run, you should have made that whole scene bigger, and the last scene shoudl be big! Liek a big ship fight, I want you to make me wanna see the new episode!
But the special effects were good, and the characters where pretty easy to follow.

The scenes fit seemlessly, except for the part when they were ambushed. I like it how it is, but if you make a sequel, (which you should from the cliffhanger at the end) make it longer. Other than that, the plot was great, the fact that you didn't use a humen race is a surprising turn, and the movie really can be called a scifi.

Fun first episode!

I loved the bind these poor people found themselves in. Unfortunately we don't really get to know any of the characters so, as an audience member, I felt a little detached from what is going on. Also, the robot human on the bridge and the spelling errors pulled me out of the movie.

Overall, great work, maybe insert a more personal story line in episode two and you'll have a TMO classic on your hands!

I thought this was good, but not excellent. I am not trying to offend, I just offer honest reviews.
Here are my thoughts. The story was decent, but by limiting yourself to just over 3 minutes you aren't giving yourself enough time to develop the characters. I didn't feel any sort of attachment to them. 2/5

Technically, it is a sound effort. But there's not much new there. I would have liked to see some mods in use and set dressing is needed. It helps bring the movie to life. Also, in the final bridge scene, you've placed a person in a robot's role, the result is an oddly moving man. Overall well done, edited VERY well and great scene selection. 4/5

Finally, you should spell check your subs. There were not many errors, but there were enough to make me notice. VO's would be better, but I know they can be hard to wrangle up. Switching the subs to let us know who is talking was a nice touch. 3/5

Overal 3 stars. I expect to see some great things come out of your studio.

That's the best movie i've watched so far on here i was actually really rooting for the little blue guys to get away safe and sound and the beginning was marvelous so atmospheric, it's so well made but also it's got a great storyline to back it up.

Plot: Generally good, a simple sci-fi story that was easy enough to follow, only at the end it seemed slightly rushed and overall quite short. 4/5

Genre Fit: A Sci-fi all the way, done to a good standard. 5/5

VOs/Subtitles: I always prefer VOs and I think here they would have really helped your film, however the subtitles were generally good. If you don't have a mic, you can ask other members to record lines for you. 3/5

Editing/Camerwork: Good scene selection overall, and good camera shots chosen, a nice use of the green screen as well. A couple of good shots with freecam. 5/5

Music: In game music throughout but it fitted well with the film. 4/5

Extras: Bonus mark for a couple of good mods I noticed.

I gave 4 stars because the story actually made sense, flowed well from point to point, the subtitles matched and followed the action, it was a very well-put-together little piece of sci-fi gold... I'm sure there could be more to the story, possibly fleshed out over a series, but, as it stands, it was a good start! nice job!!
