Oh a new lightning overlay! :) The adventures of Stud Money continues and the running gag with Dr. Villian is just brilliant. It is a little short but hey, you can still watch it again. As you have kept the high quality as in part one, I can't say more as this is brilliant as the first part was. All is top notch and therefore 5 stars from me. :)

The sequel sort of seemed a little worse than Stud Money 1, the plot just felt like there could be more done. I hope that the big earth exploding loophole is tied up in numero tres, but I'm still interested in the series, sequel wise I can only offer 3 stars for this one.

MoMc Review

Well, it was certainly well made. The whole story, though, wasn't very good. Quite short, if you ask me...

Final Score: 3.1

*****MoMc Review*****

That was an average to good movie. Some competant editing and set dressing. But an awfully corney script and shortness made it more frustrating than enjoyable to watch. More time on the script and production is needed for part three.

lol what an ending! The "cartoon" effect was great. I know how to do it, but I was wondering what it looks like.
It was not as funny as first one but it was good.

Don't get me wrong, this was certainly a well made production. The editing was flawless, there were some superb effects, and I howled at the hideously tacky "PUNCHlines." But this film lacked meaning and imagination. The action was awfully slow paced, especially for a quick 3 minute film, and the lack of music was a miscue. How can a secret agent operate without a cliched secret agent soundtrack? If the director would put a greater effort into "Stud Money 3," my appreciation for the character would grow immensely.

MoMc Score: 3.3

Refer to the review from part 1. The extra star is for the cell shading! I've never seen that before. I'll be PM'ing you to ask how you did it!

GREETINGS FROM L.M.A.O. STUDIOS!

A good second installment to the series.

THE GOOD: Better opening credits. Great opening line, loved it! Good to see the "lightning" still being used for the evil villain. lol. The story moves on in an interesting pace and the ending was shocking. MUCH better acting and dialog in this one. The recordings were a major improvement from the first film. The camera direction improvements were noticeable.

THE BAD: The length of this film is its downfall. Just as the viewer begins to settle into the story, it??s over without some substantial memorable moment to hang on to. Too long is one thing, but not long enough can kill the film itself. Don??t rush your skill!!

SUGGESTIONS ON FUTURE PROJECTS: Longer!! The filmmaker has the knowledge and skill to make five star parodies, now just make them shine!

A great sequel to a funny series!

*** MoMc - Review ***

A bit on the short side, but I liked the cell-shading effect here (haven´t seen it before in a movie) and the special effects. The vo´s were well done, and the music too. A nice movie, but I would have liked it to be longer..

MoMc score 4.0

WOW, very impressive! I liked the 1st one so much, I had to watch this one, and I was not dissappointed! Great SFX, super cool 'graniness' application on your whole movie, very nice effect. If I have any complaints, it would be to ask for more lightning flashes! Great hilarity.

Well, this is a very great use of the cell shading effect in a movie!
It gives a toon aspect which is absolutely excellent, and that effects in this movie reminds me a tribute to movies as Austin power etc..

So that was a very pleasure to watch, really fresh and well done!

Cool work pookashells!

This is the sequel to the funny Stud Money. This chapter has some marked improvements on the technical front, but is again a bit short on story.

Overall enjoyment: 29/35. A decent, short piece of a larger story. While the humming in the voice-overs that existed in the first episode is gone, this still suffers a bit from "dead space".

Editing: 26/30. Very good scene selection and flow. I'll mention the "dead space" issue in my suggestions section at the end. The bits of music we hear are good, but it would help to maybe have some background music here and there.

Production Value: 14/15. In this category, there is a vast improvement over the first episode! Costumes and props are well-used. But more importantly, use of overlays not only in the opening intro, but also throughout the film make this feel like more of a production. The short nature of this film prevents it from receiving full marks.

Characters: 7/10. This episode feels perhaps even a little more short on character than the first. The characters themselves are good, but they have precious little to do here.

Dialog: 6/10. Again, there is too little here.

Total: 82/100.

4 stars.

My suggestions: The biggest thing that I feel brings this down a little is how little of the story we receive in each episode. I really think it would help to give this series a more complete treatment.
About the "dead space" issue I mentioned earlier: For example, there is a scene near the beginning where we see a henchman walking down the stairs. Without dialog or background music, bits like this cause the movie to drag. I would either cut down how much time is spent showing that clip, or put in some suitable background music.

A bit short + I reckon it has more in common with Mike Myers than Daniel Craig (damn him for giving Bond/Stud Money some credibility again!)

But I liked the effects and VO even though the dialogue wasn't the best.

That is a very good short film, very good indeed.

Its been a while since I revied a movie, and even a longer while since I've seen a better tightly edited film, great work. Your characters have an edge that gives them enough depth for a short film, and the push of your plot is simple but realistic in the bondish style. Prop placement and editing are strong, expecially prop placement.

You created what you needed to, and used the "magic filter" very well ;)

I think you can improve in the depth of story, but for a film with a short story mission, its very high quality. You defintly surprised me, and earn a Five Star review.

Some nice dialog and snappy lines in this mod infested movie...but the editing managed to pace the movie way too slow...there was enough action and story in this episode to fill about a minute and a half...but the director drug it out for twice that long... Tighten up. Enjoyable..but SLOW for the action.
Good use of the Laser sheild mod..but the Cell shading didnt add anything..or take it away...so why bother. Keep the story going...I want to see How this Ends!
You get 4 stars...

This was a good film with good writing and a great use of mods, but I felt it was let down by the VOs and the length. It felt too short to me. The VOs also could've been done better. Other than these two things, it is a great sequel and I can't for the next installment. Good job!

This is a review for the first and second episodes. Both films were a great watch, and they contained quite a bit of story for their fairly short running time. The VO's were all done quite well, and it's hard to believe that you did them all yourself. The action flowed very well, and I really enjoyed it because of its length. The characters were all individually unique, which really added color to the movie and the music suited each scene.
Overall it was quite an enjoyable watch. Good job!

As soon as I heard the sequal was out, I rushed to your studio and watched it. Really? Well . . . . No, I didn't rush, but I ran.

Ok, so this sequal was pretty excellent, best sequal I have seen (sequals are almost never good) I'm glad you re-incorperated the lightning strike thing, that was cool.

LOL, had to see this one because the first one made me laugh a lot.

I have to admit though, this one had fewer jokes, but the effects were cool. I loved the line "He probably uses this to wipe his " "asking the president for money . . ."

nice job
