Film Description
Another Rated~R{isque to the nth degree!} urban, fantasy, nightmare, filled with sex, violence and an incindiary slew of celebrity personalities, indulging in the most vulgar displays of profane hilarity, ever witnessed by man and fungi alike! So hold on to your chillidogs kids, it's another disturbing headtrip, by those miscreants of cinema and sound, Mildheadwound Studios! This time, assisted by a plethora of astounding, yet shocking, perfomances by some of the greatest voices, ever to grace the 'movies' landscape.

This terrifying, romance, adventure comedy is skewed through the mind of an addict, as she is forced to fend off the brutality of the streets, denizens of the deep and the lecherous advances of a rhyming, schemeing leprachaun bent on matrimony!

This vision could never have been realized, if not for the wicked acting talents of the following participants;

~ Riott007 ~ as the Bride

~ Dulcinea ~ as Zenith Equivalance

~ Mezzanine ~ as the lesbian, fungi twins

~ PrinceInExile ~ as the Lizardman

~ Myshinator ~ as the [not-so-nice-word!] and the Ex-girlfiend

~ Dasman ~ as Oberon

~ Mildheadwound ~ as Eddie, Ramone & the retarded, drunk, possibly transy angel

The character Jackiebrown was played by snippets of Dasman, PrinceinExile and Mildheadwound. (What d'you want, 3 white guys trying to do the lines of 1 black woman?! Weak! Blatantly the worst acting in the entire film!! Hahaha!!!)

Technical Notes;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Clocking in at almost 22 minutes, this [play nice now!] of cinema has taken up approximately 4 months of filming, 7 actors, around 169 lines of dialogue, and a veritable tsunami of alcohol, cigarettes and cerebral stimulants!
All music was processed using Propellerhead's Reason software, (http://www.propellerheads.se/), and various public domain midi files, and a smattering of copyright free sound effects and audio blobs. Now keep those lawyers at bay!
Glitches plagued this production from the start. Our fire prop wouldn't render, demanding a complete rewrite of the wedding ceremony. Black glitches followed the editing throughout, but were finally quelled by reducing the screen size to 800x600 in the final edit. The music kept shifting back and forth from render to render, causing untold audio agony. The final rendered product is badly lacking the games' interior audio capabilities, leaving us with a bass heavy, thin, mono sound, which is just excellent for an analogue synth, but bumkiss when it cums to the dynamic audio adventure this film has become . . .
Speaking of which, feel free to revisit the films' teaser trailor, as it may make more sense after watching the film!
Have a Wicked New Years from Mildheadwound Studios!
The new TMO year starts great with a modern day faery tale that, with its fantastic musical score, unique atmosphere (not in the last place by your excellent setdressing,) and colourful characters with some great voice acting, was bound to become a cult classic the day it was released. Great job to all involved!
Innovation is defintely the breadwinner aspect of this whacky movie, where colorful cast is a literal representation. The voice acting is excellent, as is very fitting of each character's attitude. Excellent portrayal, guys and girls.
The lewd comedy is fitting and bubbly with entertaining little bits. And like everyone said, I'm not going to spoil it, but it was a very good match for the roller coaster ride of emotions you'll go through. Especially at the end :)
Stunning. Credible. Fun. I thought the scenes and use of movies "in house" setups were all about used up but you came and introduced vigorous camera moves, incredible sound quality, great music and titles.
Bravo! I think I've gotten the bug again for MOVIE-making.
WOW!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SCREWED UP TRIP OF A FILM. EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT FILM WAS AMAZING THERE??S TOO MUCH FOR ME TO SAY ABOUT IT SO I??LL GO OVER A COUPLE OF POINTS.
FIRST OFF LET ME JUST SAY A GREAT TWISTED LOVE STORY ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. SECOND THE DIALOGUE AND THE VOICE ACTING WAS ALSO BEYOND 5 STARS MY FRIEND WAY BEYOND. THE ACTUAL TRIP WAS CRAZY HEAD SPINNING AND EXTREMELY RANDOM WITH CHARACTERS ADDING IN RANDOM LINES AND DOING RANDOM ACTIVITIES.
THE CHARACTERS THEMSELVES WERE BRILLIANT BECAUSE THEY WERE SO FLESHED OUT AND UNIQUE EACH IN THEIR OWN WAY AND THEY SHOWED UP WHEN YOU??D LEAST EXPECT IT. ANOTHER UNIQUE TECHNIQUE THAT I DIDN??T QUITE UNDERSTAND BUT I THOUGHT IN A STRANGE WAY IT WAS SLIGHTLY EFFECTIVE THAT WAS THE STRANGE USE OF THE CLOVER BOARDER THAT WENT ROUND THE SCREEN EVERY TIME THE LEPRECHAUN CAME ON.
OVERALL THE WRITING ON THIS SEEMS BRILLIANT THE VOICE ACTORS GIVE IT ALMOST A 100% AND THE CHARACTERS ARE ALL COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND SHOULDN??T REALLY FIT TOGETHER BUT THEY DO AND THAT??S THE BEAUTY OF IT.
AMAZING PLEASE PLEASE ,PLEASE MAKE A SIMILAR ONE PLEASE.
FANTASTIC WORK 5 STARS AND ABOVE.
I thought this was very well thought out! Here's the grade:
Story-5. At first it seemed a little far-fetched for a comedy (I'm more used to ones that are gritty and realistic), but the ending gave the story a 5. Great job!
VOs/Dialogue-5. Some of the best voice acting in TMO I've seen so far. 4 months? I think it was worth it! Very good!
Music/SFX-5. No songs from The Movies, and plus the really cartoony score amplified the humor in this comedy. Very well done!
In short, you get a five. Film On!
I've watched about 50 TMO movies online so far, and this is easily the best I've seen. It was wonderfully scripted and hilarious. I especially enjoyed the lines and voice acting of the bride. This is a great movie!!!
This was stunning. The music was way too good, the leprechan rhymes were way too cool (green beatnick scottish EMS guys have all the fun), the pimp was perfect and the bride was beautiful. Since I have seen no Dark Brothers references, I'm assuming most TMOers dont watch enough porn. This could so easily pass for the "Devil and Mrs Jones 4". Simply astounding.
I saw this when it first came out. After watching it again, I realized that as much as I liked Autoerotic Acid Asphyx, I have to say, as a feature I liked this as much. Riott is to the Bride as Reese was to Freeway. It seems as if you poured some Liquid Sky onto Dr. Suess' rotting crotch and created a recipe of Forbidden Zone tastes. Delectable. (Incidentally, I was given the honour of my 1st flick being compared to my anti-idol by Trashman)
Coming across as Requiem for a Dream and a Terry Gilliam movie, this is one of TMO's most surreal movies. Some wonderful music, direction and acting makes the unplausible, plausible.
Brillian! Phenomenal!! It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time! The story was great. The acting was great! It was funny! Plus it was modern and original! I think this movie should be nominated for a TMOscar! All I have to say is that It was Brilliantly original and colorful! Plus the setdressing was very unique!!!
So this movie is really really COoL!
I think I have heard a music from django Reinhardt?? If it's the case, this is a great idea, and it gives an excellent atmosphere to this movie!^^
Great Movie! I haven't had a trip like that since I replaced all the marshmellows of my Lucky Charms with shrooms.
It's evident that a lot of work went into this movie.
Great story, acting, editing, overlays etc.
Direction: Great use of scene selection and custom camera angles. I was trying to guess what some of these shots were, but couldn't. Overlays for the leprechaun were well done. Costumes I was wondering how you planned on making aleprechaun with the movies? I thought it impossible but you did it convincingly.
Writing was very good from the rhyming dialogue of the leprechaunto the wedding vows all good.
Voice acting made me want to go out and buy whatever microphone you all were using they sounded so crisp and clear.
I may not stop in often but it's always a treat when I do. Good work
Holy Sh!t. I don't give out many 5 star reviews, but I don't have to here, because you most definately earned it.
I am going to start with my negative critiques, so I can get them out of the way before I drop my rant of praise over your head. First of all, you spelled Leprechaun wrong. Unless this was intentional like in the title of "The Persuit of Happyness," then this might be your biggest mistake. Also, although I admired your camera work overall, I feel that you moved it around a little too much. The movements work well in the crazy underground world of the Leprechaun, but maybe you should have offset it with less movement for when the protagonist was in the "real" world. Also, I don't like when the camera moves through objects. I know this can be hard to prevent when you want to track along a certain path, but you should try to avoid that in the future. The bride's voicework was a little shaky in the beginning, but it improved as the film progressed. Some of the events were confusing, like when the Bride and Leprechaun kiss and there is an explosion. Where did this explosion come from. Was this a sign of the strength of their love? Maybe you meant for it to be this way, but I see it as a wasted opportunity. Maybe the ex-lover of the Leprechaun could throw a grenade...
Alright, so this movie stunned me on so many levels. To make a good movie that also contains a wedding is simply stunning. This is usually a sign that the movie is sucking from the bottomless pit of the conventional. However, your wedding is comprised of a white prostitute and a black Leprechaun?! Amazing. The pacing was just superb. I don't think it can be any better. This was probably due to your camerawork which although had some problems, was one of the strengths of the film. The voicework was very good, and the dialogue was top notch. I loved all the little dirty jokes that you seem to be able to sneak in. More than once I found myself thinking...Wait, did he just say $&#@%*, I think he did. Very imaginative storytelling. This is what I admired most. It is harder than hell to find things that are truly original these days in any type of art form, and you have truly developed something new here. You are very good at the surreal, and you seem to clearly know your strengths. Your humor is so very interesting and it reminds me of the material found in movies by the Coen brothers. This lightness really enlivens the story. The way you edited it all together to make as much sense of it as possible is really quite an accomplishment.
Finally I would like to say that when I make a movie, I try to remember what Stanley Kubrick said about how feature films should always have 6 parts/scenes that are truly memorable, original, unforgettable, etc. In movies made with The Movies game, I think that this number can be scaled to about 2-3 moments. I believe your film is one of the few to actually have 2-3 of these moments. Some of these images are truly unforgettable and imaginative and you are obviously aware of this accomplishment as you picked the most sublime image to be the thumbnail for the film.
Congratulations on your accomplishment and I will continue to look forward to your future endeavors.
I thought 'Autoerotic Acid Asphyx' was your craziest flick yet...i think this one rivals it.
This was just plain and simply REALLY F**KIN CRAZY!!!
From the hot bride chick to the not so hot lesbian alien thingies, this movie was just what TMO needs. Why? I dont know...to teach little kids about sex and hookers? Maybe. Screw waiting until 8th. grade to take sex ed. why not give it to 'em now!
Mods? Jesus Christ there were too many to count. You are a very talented modder.
The fairy tale story was brilliant...at first I was like 22mins.!? WTF!? Too long for me. But thank gosh-darn-diddly-dang I watched it...cause its gotta be one my favorite TMO movie ever!
You deserve a 'Snuffin Puffin' Award....
Wow.
...
...
What a good film that was - the camerawork and overlays were spectacular. Great characters too - the Leprechaun from the highlands of Scotland was particularly amusing (lol! - that was definitely not an Irish accent by any stretch of the imagination).
A nice twist(s) in the story near the end - but most of it was like being inside Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Who cares about the story when the eye candy's this good?!
All the characters acted very well (yes, even the Scottish Leprechaun) and the music was superb ...
... which is why I've docked one star from this film. I'm not satisfied by the explanation given by the film makers. I want to see names/albums or websites whenever great music like this is used in films. "We got it from somewhere, but it was PD" doesn't wash with me, though I respect that you made an effort to explain how the music was made (or a one-star would have been your reward). I want to know which website(s) those midi files came from, especially the one with the Benny Hill theme in it. (I find it hard to believe that's not still copyrighted - he was on our screens 25 years ago in the UK).
One of the best movies you??ve done by far. Want drug-addicted prostitutes? Pimp-esque Leprechauns? Fairy-tale weddings? This is your movie.
The story itself was fantastic, and even better was the execution. The great part of it is that you didn't let the game restrict the story. For instance, the scene where the prostitute hits the angel on the head with the mirror, I love the way the angel becomes, what seems to be, brain dead throughout the rest of the movie.
Everything in this movie has a weird vibe to it, from the story, the characters, the music, the locations, the special effects, etc. In a million years, I would've never been able to imagine a movie like this, as it so different, so unexpected, so celebrity soaked.
The voices were great from everyone, with the exception of the pimp, who's voice was a little dull at times, like at the beginning.
Though it may be long, an entertaining movie from start to finish that'll leave you scratching your head.
Dude, what a ride...
At first I thougth: "I don't know what this guy has been smoking, but it sure takes him to bizar places"
Then David Lynch came to mind, but I doubt he ever ventured this far out.
An then, at the end, it all comes together as a preconceived concept. Just briliant !
Very eccentric but interesting characters, incredible set use and set dressing, great effects with overlays and massive use of all the extra's in scenes and superb voice acting, topped off bye a cool sound track... this one has it all.
But most off all a story line you cannot possibly know where it will lead, or why. I rarely had such a mix of emotions and thoughs while watching a TMO movie, and the final one is overwhelming awe for such great film making skills. Nothing short of brilliant.
Excellent! This was a leisurely paced adult hallucinatory fantasy like none other. With all the bizarre characters and an unbelievable plot, one would think that the 21 minutes would be a quagmire of wasted talent and headache. Instead, great casting, flamboyant music and sound design, and some visual eye candy lifts this up into five stars territory.
The madness in this movie may have matched some of the best bizarre adventures available on TMO. But I did feel the plot to be meandering a bit at times. As a comedy, it brings out some smiles. Excellent mods and effects keep the interest flowing, and the hard work pays off visually.
Just like an unidentified injection into a transients bloodstream as is a Mildheadwound film. Uncertain outcomes abound in a scent of decaying flesh and dreams.
