Film Description
PG-13, Horror.

Salemsville was a quiet, peaceful little town. Until a couple strangers move into an old, long abandoned house believed to be haunted, that sits on a hill overlooking the town. Some would say, 'An evil house...attracts evil people!'

No VO's in this one yet. I will put vo's in this one, but it might be a couple weeks. Trying to get everyone's vo's can sometimes be a slow process.

What started out as a remake of "Salem's Lot" (I recognized many of the names), evolved into a nice deviation from the plot with a few great suspenseful surprises thrown in. The atmosphere was perfect, as well as the pacing. The choice of music was spot on (I love SherwinLiu's compositions). The technical aspects were also outstanding (editing, scene selections). I enjoyed this tremendously, and am eagerly awaiting the continuation (great cliffhanger by the way).

A nice eerie introduction to a well crafted Vampire series. It was interesting to see you use subtitles, and it would be great to see the VO contrast. The music added to the mood and the house at the end felt very very creepy. A good cliffhanger ending to keep us wanting more.

Sorry to put this here but if you get chance feel free to pop by a litle forum some of us have created? It's sort of a TMO chill area http://groucho.proboards39.com/index.cgi You are most welcome.

I've missed you so much ;)

Awesome movie, there could have been some background music in the beginning... but other then that, superb.

Excellent opening chapter.
Some very good sound placement and music selection,as well as lighting and camera angles to help draw me into the story, which was expertly developed...something I've come to expect from your movies, and you always deliver.
A couple of really good thriller sequences.
The subs work fine and don't detract from the experience, although I do think the movie would benefit greatly with the addition of voiceovers.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.Nicely done:-)

AWESOME!!!!

I can't believe what a great new HORROR you have bestowed upon
us all! You really shot high with this one, and had no fall
backs, GREAT!

PLOT: Truly original and terrific plot. The story
grows as does the loss of characters. You sure
kept consistent, and had development. Hopefully
the next will include a deeper look into that
house and how he (hopefully) gets his wife back!
10/10

MOOD/TONE: This was spectcular hhow you kept that
creepy yet silent atmosphere. It reminds me of
the old films with classic spooks within its
"haunted house" theme. I feel the rush of chills
envelope my body every minute I watch.
10/10

MUSIC: Good music, especially the track you kept
repeating. It sounded good and fit the originality
of the story. KEEP IT UP! Just remember to add a few
more new pieces in the mix next time.
8/10

SFX: Nice mods! I really liked that office, I guess I
will have to hunt (probably on 8eyedbaby). I also
enjoyed the look of the house, even though it was pretty
much the regular. The cool background for your title was
also a great choice. What can I say, awesome!
9/10

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I will be looking for you, you are a true HORROR maker at heart!

Very very good. One of the better vampire movies I've seen on TMO. The music made this really great. It perfectly complemented the actions and raised the tension perfectly. There were a few spelling mistakes and the fact that the phone works when the lights go out, but other than those two things an creepy and heart pounding vampire film that surely will entertain.

Good start of a horror series.

Very good choice and placement of music and sfx. Like the phone ringing already outside the house.
