Simply put, the best visual effects on TMO to date, according to some viewers:) (actually, the ones in my New Animation 'The Castle & Dragon' are even better;))
I'm probably removing this soon, so this is 'last chance to see' time. I hope some people have found the Animation Overlay Packs usefull - they'll remain available for download (Or PM me if you nee them)
Also, you can get even MORE Overlay Download Packs and donate to Charity by looking up the 'Castle & Dragon' animation on my studio page!
Does anyone actually read these descriptions, do you think? I only ask because I've got people telling me that it's got no real story/characters, that it's not a real film etc in their reviews. I've already told YOU that in the description and title. I KNOW that it hasn't got them. Do you not think I noticed that when making it? ;) This is only here to promote the OVERLAY DOWNLOAD PACK link.
(note, this was originally at the bottom of the page. I moved it because I got sick of people not reading the description, then complaining that there was no story or character. What can I say? There's plenty of warning about the content in the description - I can't help it if some people aren't reading it..)

Can I point out to all the people saying I should have uploaded this elsewhere, there's always been an Xvid version of it, so you didn't really have to watch it on TMO. All you had to do was read the description *shrug* http://www.mysharefile.com/v/8261306/Island_Trip_Xvid.avi.html
This animation is part of my campaign to try and get film-makers to make their SFX open Source. The idea is that by promoting effects packs using a highly-visible movie like this, game owners will realise what sort of add-ons are being made available for them and hopefully may use them in their own movies. For example, there's nothing stopping ANYONE from downlaoding the overlay pack and making an Identical animation to this one, or just using it in a cut scene in one of their films:)
It's just me testing how well some animations I've made will translate to TMO, really, hence the total lack of plot, characters etc. And while I understand that there are those who don't like things like this being uploaded to TMO, I've only done so because a few people asked to see the results - It actually works quite a bit better than I thought it would:)
There seems to be quite a demand to see how I did this. It's just done using overlays in-game. I've even provided the Animation Overlays for download so you can recreate the enitre thing in your own movies if you like. They're in the following thread...

ok what the helk was that! 32 seconds of crap! I liked the animation thats why i gave it 1 star! But music was way to original! And its number 1 on charts, not even an action movie, i mean come on can that gotten any worse! iam not trying to be rude but maybe if you next time put a little more time in it you would be number 1! But this doesnt even deserve to be in the top 1,000,000,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh remove this! Its not the best but is the worst! >:( wasted 32seconds of my life!

How did you do that? I would agree, best SFX on TMO since...well...forever! The only thing I can think is how the HECK did he do this?! Fantastic job. Only bad part was there was no storyline. (just kidding)

Well what can I say, that has got to be the best use of animated overlays I have ever seen! I hope that this movie opens up all of the possibilities of animation to the younger audience and movie-makers. Maybe we'll get some good movies around here! ;)

That was so FREAKIN COOL!!!! IT WAZ LIKE ZOOOOOOOM thn it turned around and went ZOOOOOOOM then I saw the bout after te ZOOOOOOOM'S. AWSOME!!!!!!

Good animation, but not the best, as you self-proclaimed yourself. I mean it was impressive that you made each of those slides. But all in all, after you have finished each overlay of course, its all a matter of selecting it, and putting it in the game. I know that this is just a simulation of what it could be like, but what would really be great, is if you could make a MOVIE with that animation in it.
Nice job. I personally thing it may be the best frame by frame animation, but definitely not the best effects. 7.5/10!
It probably took a while to do that, so I'd consider giving it a 4 star review, but everyone has to remember, its simply a single animation... Not to say that I could do better... lol...

Second, I now feel very stupid because yours makes mine look like crap.
