Zu erst einmal: Ein gro�?artiger Film!
Die Musik ist meowan-typisch gelungen. Auch wenn sie hin und wieder meiner Meinung nach aufdringlich war. Persönlich hat mich das aber überhaupt nicht gestört da sie das Geschehen hervorragend unterstreicht und einfach schön ist. Besonders gefällt mir die Stelle in der Kaserne :)
Auch die Soundeffekte passen gut.
Das Editing... hm... erstklassig wie zu erwarten war. Allerdings war es nicht perfekt, ich weiss nicht genau warum... es wirkte auf mich streckenweise lethargisch. Du hast, und das ist mir schon bei anderen Filmen von dir aufgefallen, einen sehr ruhigen Editing-Stil. Meistens passt das auch erstklassig zu deinen Filmen, aber bei diesem Film hätte ich mir ein paar mehr Szenen gewünscht die weniger auf Kamera fahrten und mehr auf schnelle Schnitte setzte, wie du es zB in der Kriegsszene super hin gekriegt hast. Das ist aber nur eine Kleinigkeit, die ich auch nur erwähne, weil es sonst nichts zu meckern gibt.
Die Voiceover gehört zum besten auf TMO. Sowohl die Qualität der Sprecher als auch der Aufnahmen ist (fast) perfekt. Das verzerren der Stimmen in den Traumsequenzen ist zwar obligatorisch, aber tortzdem schön gelungen.
Jetzt komm ich zum interessantesten Teil: Der Story. Sehr interessant, emotional und philosophisch.
Du hast es geschafft glaubhafte Charaktere zu schaffen mit denen man mitfiebert. In erster Linie ist das die Hauptperson Finn. Die Zeitreise Story mit den Flashbacks und Zeitsprüngen ist in sich bis auf Kleinigkeiten stimmig. Zumindest in den ersten 15 Minuten. Danach habe ich das Gefühl das du ein wenig ungeduldig wurdest und bestimmte Dinge übersehen hast: Die Erklärung von George, wie er die Zeitmaschine vor Finn Geheimhalten konnte ist mehr als Fadenscheinig. Und das in meinen Augen einzige echte Problem in diesem Film: Finn wird als Charakter mit dem ermorden von George unglaubwürdig. Es wäre nicht nötig gewesen George zu töten und wirkt als wolltest du einfach alles noooch tragischer machen.
Insgesamt ein hervorragender Film, der sich trotz Storymacke und auch ohne die externe Bearbeitung (durch die er nochmal gewinnt) zu überzeugen, fesseln und mitrei�?en weiss.
At first: A great movie!
The music is meowan-typically great. Even if it was in my opinion a bit meretriciously. Personally, I don't care vbecause it underlines the scenes perfectly. I like the theme in the barrack :)
The Soundeffects fits well, too.
The Editing...hm... first-class how I expected it ;). But it isn't perfect even if I don't know exactly why... it looks in some scenes lethargic. You have a very calme Directing-Style which doesn't fit in some scenes in this movie, but this is just a personal opinion.
The VO is perfect.
The most interesting part is the story: Emotional, philosophic and interesting.
You succeded in creating belivable charakters. The Story is consistent till smallest detail. In the first 15 Minutes. Afterwards there are some logically mistakes. For example becomes the charakter of Finn with murdering George a bit improbably.
At all a excellent Film, which is has some story quirks, but know who to convince, tie up and carry away without external effects, too.

I really liked the plot, it was so interesting and intruging to see how one main event [someone dying] would change around the reaction of that at the end after already seeing what originally happenned, I thought that was really clever!! I loved the music, that was cool too, an excellent voice-over cast, I liked my vo to, that was cool and many thanks for crediting my name at the end!!
Also, the script is definatly a five star quality, you have very impressive skills to write such an intricate script for this movie, it was absoutly mind-blowing!! I loved the characters, they were all so amazingly done, you really got to terms with them and believed them as real people and I also thought that the way in which throughout the movie, there would be different time frames, e.g. going into the future and then going back to the past, or at the start at the end, that was really cool and well done!!! I can also see that this version is a bit different to the original, i probably prefer this version [the director's cut!], but it's still great to see the original to see how it came together and how this version is different!!!

A thoroughly enjoyable movie, and a technical marvel. The camerawork is spectacular as we've come to expect from this studio. More than that though, a very intriguing story comes along with it. Sound and music are also carefully designed and of high quality.
Although I felt the Finley-Julie relationship to be "romance light", the twist and the outcome were exciting! It's always a pleasure to watch movies like this. :)

Eine wundervoll erzählte Geschichte über verlorene Liebe, alte Freundschaften und Zeitreisen.
Geschickt wird hier gespielt mit den Charkateren und ihren Wünschen und obwohl man wei�?, dass es ja quasi so kommen muss, hofft man bis zum Ende, dass zumindest zwei der drei glücklich werden.
Regie ist mal wieder das Beste was rumläuft. Meowan ist halt einfach ein Regietalent, wer das nicht anerkennt, tut mir Leid.
Musik ist stets stimmig und die Vos sind einfach nur wunderbar.
Editing ist gekonnt und geschickt wird es hier verwendet, dass man Szenen zusammenbekommt, die so gar nicht möglich wären (der Kuss zB)
Fazit: Ein anspruchsvoller und unterhaltsamer Sci-Fi Spielfilm. Die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug und ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten Meowanfilm. Keine Kritik!

Dodgy American accents aside (for some characters), this was a well-written and constructed time travel tale.
However, it loses a star because of its slap-dash treatment of the timeline.
We're seemingly told (or did I miss something?) that 9-years after the 40s and the war, some people were driving around in modern Ferraris! I might be able to overlook that in other genres of film, but for a time travel drama it's unforgiveable. The period and objects within it must be given proper attention.
According to the timeline of this film, laser guns were readily available in the 80s (or late 70s)!
I'm surprised at this sloppiness given how good the rest of the film is.
Very good camerawork and some of the musical cues. Other cues (particularly in the time travel sequence) weren't dramatic enough given the amazing event.
I also lost much sympathy for the main character given what he did to the scientist in order to access the time machine. That wasn't a wise story choice. There are other ways of getting him in the machine without making him unlikeable.
The music tended to drown out the crucial last lines in the film (a little bit). They were good lines as well.
So some good, some bad - but it was worth watching.

Story: 10/10 A very powerful story about what we do and the affect of our actions. This was told beautifully with stunning visuals and crisp clean voiceovers!
Music: 5/5 Music worked very well through out the whole film! Excellent job!
VO/Subs: 10/10 The voiceover cast was very good. Sometimes some of them lost their emotion, but picked it right back up, so I am glad you chose well.
Script: 5/5 A very well written script. I enjoyed it.
Extras: 6/5 The mod usage was amazing as was the freecam.
Editing: 15/15 A bit long, but overall very good. The scene transition was great as was the scene usage. I was happy to have watched this. Keep it up!

Impressive work you have done with Three Lives! It fits pretty good together! Nice customs! The story is just ecxellent! Great music, great VO´s, great use of the cam, great.. great.. And the story? I give it a big WOW since it`s very hard to realize this story with TM.. but .. you did... The timemachine reminds me a bit of timecop.

Possibly if not certainly the best film I've seen on TMO!
Stunning VO's conveyed a story incredibly touching and meaningful. The plot was extremely well thought out and planned.
The superb camerawork made this film all the more amazing and was finished off with a great musical score that really worked with the atmosphere and style of the movie.
Congratualations on this stunning, entertaining and thought provoking masterpiece!

Meticulous in its attention to detail, whether its the music, the camera shots or the story. A slow burn Scifi drama about effects of the past, the present and the future. Of life and consquences. And the simple morale of letting go and moving on. That whatever action taken, there will be a counter action. A butterfly effect. Especially the tampering of one's past.
Though I must say one very glaring plot inconsistency was the lead killing his friend so that he could use the time machine, especially since he had saved him years earlier during the war.
Overall, the pacing could have been a little better for the first 2/3 of the movie but I understand how that portion needs to be showed to the audiences so the final 1/3 can have an effect. Very well done nonetheless.

Das Ding ist beinahe perfekt. Zu perfekt für mich.
Ich finde es klasse, dass Du einen Film gemacht hast, der von Anfang bis Ende ein hohes Niveau hält. Nicht einfach nur ein schnell zusammengeschustertes Ding, dass schon deshalb 5 Sterne für sich beansprucht, weil es über 20 Minuten lang ist.
Aber trotzdem fehlt ihm das gewissen etwas. Jedenfalls für mich.
Es war aber auch schwierig für mich, weil der Film komplett in Englisch war. Ich musste mich arg auf die Sprache konzentrieren und konnte mich deshalb nicht so sehr an der Bildsprache und der Story erfreuen, wie mir das lieb gewesen wäre.
Fassen wir doch einfach mal zusammen: Das hier ist ein Film, der rein objektiv aus der Menge hervorsticht. Es scheint, als ob Du dem ganzen Film in allen Einzelheiten Deine ungeteilte Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt hättest. Der Film ist einfach sehr gut, egal ob man ihn mag oder nicht. Die Sprecher, das Drehbuch, die Musik, alles auf einem hohen Niveau, völlig egal ob es den persönlichen Geschmack des Betrachters trifft oder nicht.
Der Film ist dafür gemacht, um Dein technisches Können auf Machinima-Festivals o.ä. zu demonstrieren, aber nicht um bei mir am Samstagmorgen für Kurzweil zu sorgen.
Also volle fünf Punkte, und das sehr verdient. Aber "Manie" ist trotzdem besser :-)

My god, this left me in awe. The voice acting and camera work in this is amazing, the best I've seen to date. The story is amazing and put together really well. You were able to put more emotion into the "actors" than I ever thought possible with this medium.
The only quarral with the movie at all is a few small editing glitches towards the end. These are all easily forgiven, though, in the light of this masterpiece. Great work, I look forward to your future creations.

Very, very good. Obviously your plot twist at the end makes the whole film worth while... The VOs were excellent and the movie timeline moved along nicely.
I thought the only real problem was with the time between scenes -- 9 years, 19 years, etc. Seems like a VERY long time between events.
Overall, good job!

That was some seriously impressive editing and camerawork, along with a fascinating and highly intriguing story. I like the idea of travelling back and forth in time. This movie had a very professional feel to it and it was easy to forget I was watching a movie made with a somewhat limited game.

Excellent. Loved how the future impact meant that the present would be impacted on in a way that was unexpected. Reminds me of something, for every action there is a counter reaction and we should never assume our actions are received as we intended them to be. Not a typical Sci Fi which is why I liked it.
On a technical note the scene usage the editing and scrpt are some of the bes I've seen on TMO. The music really added to this to make this a rare and exceptional movie. Today I've seen three Sci Fi movies and all have been good, really because they feature the human condition rather than relied on space ships and battles etc. All in all a great movie and everyone did their jobs really well.

I admire this film and your filmaking ability very much. A very high professional standard. You take the time to develop the storyline, never giving in to any pressure to hasten along the plot or development, so the pacing is consistent and fluid. An excellent story with a great twist. Very effective shot choices and placement - they always compliment the drama, never detract. Good use of mods and scenery. Good music.

Schade......Schade das es nicht mehr von dieser Art Film auf TMO gibt.
Auch Schade ist, das der Film für mich zwei Gesichter hat. Zum einen ist da der meowan-typische perfektionistische Part, bei dem einfach alles stimmt. Jede Kamerabewegung macht Sinn, und ist Teil eines ... nennen wir es mal Bilderrausches! Die Musik und die fabelhaften VO`s runden das ganze dann zu einem visuellen Erlebnis ab. Diese Phase hält etwa die ersten 13 Minuten an....und dann verschwinden sie plötzlich, die flie�?enden Bewegungen, die perfekt abgestimmten Bilder! Nicht falsch verstehen, es bleibt natürlich erstklassig, dennoch finde ich gibt es ein qualitativen Bruch im Film....als ob die Zeit knapp wurde oder etwa die Puste ausging....
An der Geschichte, welche sich natürlich von den allerwelts-Produkten abhebt, gibt es sicher nicht viel auszusetzen....doch ich finde noch was :) .... für 22 Minuten passiert recht wenig. Sicherlich zieht die Inszenierung in den Bann und man wei�?, das noch etwas kommen muss, aber das Thema des Films wird lediglich im letzten Drittel gestriffen und wirkt zu guter letzt überhastet, wenn man hier die Relation zur langen Vorgeschichte betrachtet.
Abgesehen von den liebevoll gestalteten Set`s und den nett inszeniertem Alterungsprozess der Charaktere ist mir auch hier noch etwas aufgefallen. Deine Hauptpersonen ( und schlie�?e ich deine meisten vorherigen Filme mit ein )
sehen mir zu "gelutscht" aus. Irgendwie tauchen in deinen Filmen nur Schönlinge mit starkem Wiedererkennugsfaktor vorrangegangener Filme auf....hab Mut zur Hässlichkeit! Und auch bin ich gespannt, ob du mir irgendwann auch ein anderes Bild von dir zeigen kannst, als das des Filmemachers der in die Schublade des melancholischen, nachdenklich stimmenden Liebesfilms passt.....
Trotz aller Kritik, bleibt 3 Lives ein toller Film, bei dem alles andere als 5 Sterne auf Neid und Missgunst schliessen lassen würde ;)!

Keine Frage: Genial!
Ich persönlich finde die Story zwar etwas zu weit hergeholt und nicht allzu ansprechend, aber dennoch ist die Story gelungen. Die Geschmäcker sind halt verschieden. ;-)
Technisch 1A! Wirklich gutes (englische) Voice-Over! Zwar höre ich lieber deutsche Stimme wie Andi, Melanie etc, aber da die Stimmen gut zu verstehen waren, kam man auch storytechnisch gut mit. (Vorausgesetzt man beherrscht Englisch.) ;-)
Zum Soundtrack muss man eigentlich nicht viel sagen. Einfach nur genial!
Meiner Meinung nach ist dein Unfaithful aber immer noch Meowan-Referenz. :-)
Dieser Film ist zwar wirklich gut, aber Unfaithful ist sowohl storytechnisch, als auch im Allgemeinen besser.

Willy-Wonka
Ein Film, über den ich nichts wusste - ich kannte nur den Titel und war im Grunde gefasst, alles zu sein. Vor allem, aber wusste und ahnte ich nicht, dass es zu einer Zeitreise führen würde.
In diesem Sinne zog mich der Film immer tiefer in seinen Bann. Ich lernte die Charaktere kennen und verfolgte ihr Leben - als dann die Zeitmaschine plötzlich da war, hoffte ich mit gleicher Begeisterung wie Finn. Der Film ging einem ins Blut über und man hoffte mit.
Besonders gut ist natürlich die durch Musik und Kamera erzeugte Atmosphäre, deine Regiearbeit ist ja immer das Nonplusultra. Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Film und sehe ihn mir immer wieder sehr gerne an.

Zu erst einmal: Ein gro�?artiger Film!
Die Musik ist meowan-typisch gelungen. Auch wenn sie hin und wieder meiner Meinung nach aufdringlich war. Persönlich hat mich das aber überhaupt nicht gestört da sie das Geschehen hervorragend unterstreicht und einfach schön ist. Besonders gefällt mir die Stelle in der Kaserne :)
Auch die Soundeffekte passen gut.
Das Editing... hm... erstklassig wie zu erwarten war. Allerdings war es nicht perfekt, ich weiss nicht genau warum... es wirkte auf mich streckenweise lethargisch. Du hast, und das ist mir schon bei anderen Filmen von dir aufgefallen, einen sehr ruhigen Editing-Stil. Meistens passt das auch erstklassig zu deinen Filmen, aber bei diesem Film hätte ich mir ein paar mehr Szenen gewünscht die weniger auf Kamera fahrten und mehr auf schnelle Schnitte setzte, wie du es zB in der Kriegsszene super hin gekriegt hast. Das ist aber nur eine Kleinigkeit, die ich auch nur erwähne, weil es sonst nichts zu meckern gibt.
Die Voiceover gehört zum besten auf TMO. Sowohl die Qualität der Sprecher als auch der Aufnahmen ist (fast) perfekt. Das verzerren der Stimmen in den Traumsequenzen ist zwar obligatorisch, aber tortzdem schön gelungen.
Jetzt komm ich zum interessantesten Teil: Der Story. Sehr interessant, emotional und philosophisch.
Du hast es geschafft glaubhafte Charaktere zu schaffen mit denen man mitfiebert. In erster Linie ist das die Hauptperson Finn. Die Zeitreise Story mit den Flashbacks und Zeitsprüngen ist in sich bis auf Kleinigkeiten stimmig. Zumindest in den ersten 15 Minuten. Danach habe ich das Gefühl das du ein wenig ungeduldig wurdest und bestimmte Dinge übersehen hast: Die Erklärung von George, wie er die Zeitmaschine vor Finn Geheimhalten konnte ist mehr als Fadenscheinig. Und das in meinen Augen einzige echte Problem in diesem Film: Finn wird als Charakter mit dem ermorden von George unglaubwürdig. Es wäre nicht nötig gewesen George zu töten und wirkt als wolltest du einfach alles noooch tragischer machen.
Insgesamt ein hervorragender Film, der sich trotz Storymacke und auch ohne die externe Bearbeitung (durch die er nochmal gewinnt) zu überzeugen, fesseln und mitrei�?en weiss.
At first: A great movie!
The music is meowan-typically great. Even if it was in my opinion a bit meretriciously. Personally, I don't care vbecause it underlines the scenes perfectly. I like the theme in the barrack :)
The Soundeffects fits well, too.
The Editing...hm... first-class how I expected it ;). But it isn't perfect even if I don't know exactly why... it looks in some scenes lethargic. You have a very calme Directing-Style which doesn't fit in some scenes in this movie, but this is just a personal opinion.
The VO is perfect.
The most interesting part is the story: Emotional, philosophic and interesting.
You succeded in creating belivable charakters. The Story is consistent till smallest detail. In the first 15 Minutes. Afterwards there are some logically mistakes. For example becomes the charakter of Finn with murdering George a bit improbably.
At all a excellent Film, which is has some story quirks, but know who to convince, tie up and carry away without external effects, too.

eine geniale story, aber mit deiner anderen Fassung kann er wahrlich nicht mithalten..wennn ich jetzt gemein gewesen wäre, würde ich nur 4 sterne geben, da man aber keine extern bearbeiteten Filme hochladen kann..klare 5 Sterne..

This movie is this and more!! I absotuly adored it!!! I really liked the plot, it was so interesting and intruging to see how one main event [someone dying] would change around the reaction of that at the end after already seeing what originally happenned, I thought that was really clever!! I loved the music, that was cool too, an excellent voice-over cast, I liked my vo to, that was cool and many thanks for crediting my name at the end!!
Also, the script is definatly a five star quality, you have very impressive skills to write such an intricate script for this movie, it was absoutly mind-blowing!! I loved the characters, they were all so amazingly done, you really got to terms with them and believed them as real people and I also thought that the way in which throughout the movie, there would be different time frames, e.g. going into the future and then going back to the past, or at the start at the end, that was really cool and well done!!! I can also see that this version is a bit different to the original, i probably prefer this version [the director's cut!], but it's still great to see the original to see how it came together and how this version is different!!!
I give this movie A big Two thumbs up!!!
Movie Percentage= 100%= an absoutly amazing written story of drama , love and power!! Excellent! it feels like i'm watching a real movie when I watch it as I never got bored at all!! 21 mins was no time wasted watching this movie, utterly compelling, mind-blowing stuff you have done here!!!!! A thoroughly enjoyable movie, and a technical marvel. The camerawork is spectacular as we've come to expect from this studio. More than that though, a very intriguing story comes along with it. Sound and music are also carefully designed and of high quality.
Although I felt the Finley-Julie relationship to be "romance light", the twist and the outcome were exciting! It's always a pleasure to watch movies like this. :)

Ein überaus beeindruckender Sci-Fi-Streifen, welcher es schafft trotz des Zeitparadoxons in sich stimmig zu wirken. Vor allem vermag er es den Zuschauer glänzend über mehrere Zeitepochen hinweg zu unterhalten und die Charaktere mit ihren Wünschen adäquat darzustellen.
Daneben natürlich die gewohnt herausragende Regie, passende Musik und wirklich tolle englische Voice Over. Was will man da mehr..

Eine wundervoll erzählte Geschichte über verlorene Liebe, alte Freundschaften und Zeitreisen.
Geschickt wird hier gespielt mit den Charkateren und ihren Wünschen und obwohl man wei�?, dass es ja quasi so kommen muss, hofft man bis zum Ende, dass zumindest zwei der drei glücklich werden.
Regie ist mal wieder das Beste was rumläuft. Meowan ist halt einfach ein Regietalent, wer das nicht anerkennt, tut mir Leid.
Musik ist stets stimmig und die Vos sind einfach nur wunderbar.
Editing ist gekonnt und geschickt wird es hier verwendet, dass man Szenen zusammenbekommt, die so gar nicht möglich wären (der Kuss zB)
Fazit: Ein anspruchsvoller und unterhaltsamer Sci-Fi Spielfilm. Die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug und ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten Meowanfilm. Keine Kritik!

Eine sehr gute Idee
und eine gute Umsetzung, das sieht man bei diesen Film sofort :)
Habe leider nur nicht alles verstanden...bin ja nicht der beste in English...
Aber dieser Film hatte sehr viel Spannung und die Musik ist Perfekt im Film,
passender geht es wohl kaum!
Dies ist ein klarer 5 - Sterne Film!

ich fand den film wirklich gro�?artig , die special effects sind einfach nur WOW :D
aber da ich ja kein Meister in Englisch bin habe ich auch net die komplette Story verstanden , aber es war trozdem spannend anzusehen. Aber ich denke das ich den Film ein wenig verstanden habe. Ich freue mich auch schon riesig auf die Deutsche Version!!!!
