I like the way that this movie-poem shows a human response to the events of 9/11. It doesn't try to grasp all the complexities of it, it just shows how one person felt in a way that many others can also relate to. Well done.

It was beautiful. I could not find a better person to make a better 9/11 depeiction. It was a simple, short film, that made you think. It was so suttle, so clear, but yet so sad. I feel that there could be so much more, but yet you need to keep it at its minimum... What I am trying to say is that you need not do anything else to this film, it is just PERFECT the way it is. OH, and I absolutely love the poster. Who did the artwork?? If it was you then you are truly talented in more ways then one.
GOOD JOB

Presenting a film on Sept 11th is not just making a movie but capturing a moment in time. We all have our stories of where we were and what we were doing. There is a lot of heart to this film and the poem it includes. Too bad the music was too loud at points where it was hard to hear. The poem is open ended and offer no solutions, reasons, or opinions. It is just an account laid out for the viewer to behold. It is simple in design as is this movie as a whole, still, there is something missing here and I can not say what. Maybe I'm suppose to feel that way after viewing this film. I wonder?

I respect the effort put into this film, however, I feel there are a great deal of things missing from it.

It makes no accusations as to who the culprits of this event were, or infact, who we were at war with.

The "Support the Troops" line at the end of the film caught me completely offguard. What exactly are we supporting them for? Don't get me wrong, I have been a member of the armed forces. But I can bet that if we even knew half of the truth of what happened that day, we would probably be thinking a lot differently about it.

The events of 9/11 and the action of supporting troops do not necessarily go hand in hand, remember that.

and one because i have to and another because of good mods.

Well done. The poem shows the moods of people on that day.

Nice music choice, but it was just too short for me to care deeply about any characters.

Good VO and Music.
But I can't agree with the poem... For a patriotic American it may be okay but I'm a pacifistic German.

I usually hate 9/11 movies because they make it seem like it was the worse thing in hisotoy and make a HUGE deal out of it. This one, though was good because it is just a poem someone wrote kind of. Telling what happened really, not blowing it out of proportions. I would have given it 5 but the "Support our Troops" line at the end made me dislike it a bit, because we shouldn't be in the middle east. :)

What are we at war with?

I think the troops would be better deployed helping the starving from evil regimes rather than trying to secure Iraq's oil fields. I might even cut them some slack if they were concentrated in Afghanistan seeking out the evil Bin Laden and his minions.

But "supporting our troops" is the worst kind of patriotism. "Unless you support our troops in Iraq, which everyone now knows has nothing to do with 9/11, you don't deserve to fly the stars-and-stripes outside your house."

I bet they had countless ad campaigns in nazi Germany - "support our troops, help the fatherland". Doesn't mean it's right.

There's a false patriotism at the end of this poem that I don't get on with - but the build up was excellent.

I'm not sure what the point was exactly. Though a compelling topic, this movie was too short to really get into it. The voiceover was good, as well as the cutom backdrops and the opening title. The movie itself was a little weak for me, a good try though, not the best execution.

I felt that this was an okay poem and something that every american can relate to. It was a little short and I felt that something as big as 9/11 needed more story to it. The support our troops part did confuse me because this is for 9/11 and the confusion of war on that day. Anyway I felt it was out of place but still a good poem.

Interesting... I have a lot of gripes aobut 9/11, but since this is a serious piece, i'll keep my mouth shut.

That pretty much consummated what happened on the days after 9/11; silence, tranquility, and uncertainty. With that said, it could have been a bit longer. Then, you could have enthralled the listener with more stories of the days after 9/11.

4 Stars.

It was a nice caption of the moment. Yet it felt like it could of had a bit more detail to it.

A very good poem, very well read by Richard.

I think this movie will be rated mostly on emotional impact and political beliefs. So expect a lot of varied reviews.

Not being American myself it didn't raise any feelings of patriotism, though I think for many Americans it would. The film made me feel sad at the remembering of that awful day.

I think you have handled a difficult subject very well.

It was good, but not good enough. Good try. For me 9/11 tribute has to be something else.

I found it a beautiful and staggering movie. The calm narrating, the clever editing, the sad and haunting music... it was so touching and powerful. The custom bakdrop were great, too.
I must admit, though, that I can't quite agree about that "Support our troops!" line.

Interesting concept you got there! But "Support our troops"? Well...

Although our opinion differs wildly from the maker of this film, (possibly from the hundreds of thousands of dead civilians brought about from the frankly, unjustified US invasions that followed!), we definitely have to give props on the high quality writing, editing and sombre mood created from an understandably passionate cry of desperation on this, the 5th anniversary, of said events.

It was rather odd. You delivered something powerful in the space of 2 minutes. However i feel you could've done a lot more with it. 2 minutes is way too short for a 5 star review i thought. I would've liked to see this movie made into something a little longer, and maybe not in a poem. Its a tough subject, and one better suited to a more in depth look.

La Hire Studios Movie Competion Review

Okay, this was an okay drama movie, what was being said was good, the Voice overs were also good, however it was way to short, I dont think TMO is the best way to eexpress your stroy, but still it was a pretty okay film, a solid 4 out of 5.
