Film Description
This is a re-release of the original. It's advised that you
watch the remake instead -- it's much, much better.

A team of explorers scout the galaxy for a planet that matches the needs of the Earth Colony Project. They discover a planet with potential, but they lose control as they approach and then crash. While repairs start, a survey team continues their original mission, unaware that they are not alone.

Re-release. Originally made prior to S&E, but unfortunately a re-export added some unwanted effects. This was done in normal play, back in November 2005, and I've re-released it so people that want to see what my past work that I'm proud of, is actually like. It's got a number of flaws, but I do think it's entertaining too. If you do review it, all I'll say is I prefer longer honest reviews to short five star ones. So, please say as much as you want about it. Even if you hate it, go into details.

The original release can be found here: http://movies.lionhead.com/movie/14359 -- A remake is currently in the works, being done in sandbox mode. If you're interested in being a voice actor in the remake, please go to the following thread:

well i dont usually like sci-fi movies, but this one grabbed my attention from the beginning which is a good sign.
the editing was spot on in my opinion. you didnt over do anything which is great. you let the story come across stronger than the editing.
the story was fantastic. kind of reminded me of the movie "the thing". i know the stories are different, but it gave me that nervous sort of feel. if you know what i mean.

one of the best sci-fi's ive seen on TMO.

Well done!

I liked the storyline and the effects of the camera. It would be really nice if you reviewed my movie, since you seem pretty expirenced.

Well that's funny I've seen this movie but... where's my review...? Thought... anyway, you're working on the remake, but this was really really good, I see you didn't bother much with the freecam, wich brought back some good old feelings ;)
Very intruiging story, hope the remake will be a little longer to see what happens! :)

Goood movie! A lot of fun, great dramatic progression, humour, tension and resolve... though a tad cliffhanger-y. That's no detraction though.

A homage to Forbidden Planet? I loved the fifties - kind of - art direction.

Well done!

A power that you cannot imagine zapped by an early Sci Fi pistol! hehe
That was a cool lil movie. Time passed by rather quickly watching it.
Interesting storyline, though VO's would of course give it more impact.
Some nice editing and work with the Cam. Those corridor zooms were pretty cool.
It got just a tad disjointed at the end. I dunno if that 'hiding' scene is serving any good purpose there. I'd have thought going straight from the Lazer shot to her being attacked by the Invisible/body inhabiting freaker may have been better..
A good Sci Fi Flick you've created here worthy of 5 Stars.
Kept me interested throughout. Good Job.

Interesting. Probably a while ago I would've given this 5 Stars but not now, since it is mearly just a re-exportation. I can't wait to see the remake though.

Well, since it is a re-release, I won't comment on it too much.
I really liked the editing and your use of the different scenes (especially the use of the iaoy scene). The film really had the atmosphere of an old Sci-Fi, and the second part had a great haunting feel to it.
I wa a little confused about who was talking after the crash landing when you couldn't see anything, and it sort of lacked a real conclusion. But other than that, a great "classic" so to speak.

Great story, not really fair to judge this by s&e standards due to when it was originally made. Held my attention...which for me says a lot.

My only gripe is that seeing as it has been made using s&e, you didn't give it a face lift...seems like a missed opportunity. But alas still a great film :)
