Of questions on how I made her fly: Simple overlays. The flying side view overlay has her cape animated to flap. Looking back, I should have done it with her back view as it is static. Other effects, such as the alien "beaming in" and forcefield were also animated overlays.

Right now I am experimenting with using overlays for foreground structures to give depth to bluescreen shooting. Something on that coming soon. :)

I know the story/plot itself is a bit shallow. I just wanted to shoot for some fun rockem-sockem super action with an emphasis on camera work and continuity with some overlay experimentation. My series titled Mechanisms has a more detailed story and character development. Check them out!

Great film. Like you said, the story is a little lacking but this was obviously meant to be an action/effects movie, and it certainly delivers. Freecam work was excellent. All of the overlays you did looked pretty seamless for the most part. Some scenes do seem to drag on too long, and many of them don't have any dialogue which makes it boring, but these can easily be overlooked next to the good parts of the film. A very entertaining movie. Great job.

Awesome use of freecam for the most part. Tight editing, good voice work, even the opening credits were cool.

Only bits you need to work on are the fight scenes. You never seem to have the camera in the right spot during the fights, too much happens just out of view...and the ending was weak.

Great movie though!

Wow! You've done some amazing things with animated overlays! The first real "superhero" movie I've seen on TMO! Great job. My only complaint would be that the end was just a little weak. I'd like to have known what was on the heroine's mind at the end. Here's to hoping we see more!

Very nice movie here with some of the best overlay usage I have seen on TMO. Story was a little wanting but what do people want for 7 mins. I would have preferred a longer more character driven movie but maybe this could be a series or something. Overall very good movie, well done.

Great movie, fascinating from the beginning to the end. No recursive moments or funny voices. This movie is an example to us all that a medium length movie can be good and well made as well. Nice special effects too.
