A very entertaining movie with an excellent soundtrack.
The VO was nicely done and the editing was close to perfect.
The plot it's self while enough to entertain for 5 mins or so could have used a little more depth for me, a litte more characterisation at the start maybe.
But still a very entertaining film and worth 5 mins of anyones time.
A High 4 stars from me.

Goodbye Cruel World...Hello great movie! What a cool plot carried with some really great music choices. Almost professional sounding VO and some well paced dialogue. You already know how I feel about the accent. :) I thought the story was well told and you have some terrific characters here. A very entertaining movie you have Alfric but we have come to expect this from you.

Alfric has excellent command of the chanteuse repertoire. Im a fan.

I LOVE Scottish accents, well the ones I can understand that is, so if only for the VO's the movie couldn't go wrong for me.
On a more serious note, well actually I can't be serious about this movie, as it first made me grin, and then onwards from Rise My Child, it made me laugh - In a good way mind. I realise it wasn't meant to be a comedy, but I couldn't stop laughing Ok it didn't have the most original story line ever perhaps, but it was just plain fun.
This movie brightened my day so it deserves all the starts it can get.

Haha a real campy style sci-fi flick.
lol I like characters who are so smart,but squander their brilliance on useless inventions,or in this case,a creation.
A goofy little 50's style b-movie flick,I like it:-)
Good Meowan music(as it always is)
I liked the VO work too:-)

Ah, a new adaptation of the good old Frankenstein story! :) In fact, this is the weakest part of the movie: the plot isn't too original and quite predictable. It would have been nice if you could throw in some unexpected twists.
But the execution is good, and makes up for the weakness of the script. The scenes are well-selected, and the wide diversity of sets and costumes makes this movie pleasant to watch from the beginning to the end.
The music is the best thing, and it raises your movie above the 3-stars threshold. Very professional, versatile, effective... great choice. I can't tell this about the voices, however, which are quite cheesy. Some more VAs would be nice. (I greatly appreciated, though, that you took the time to include subtitles as well - another good point!)
Overall: nothing very remarkable, but still an enjoyable movie that's well put together.

The music really helped establish the mood. The voiceovers were fairly welldone, although I think with such a large cast of characters, a variety of voiceactors would be a good idea.

A few more establishing shots could have created a more horrorific mood, or perhaps some darker lighting occasionally.

Definetely a movie that kept my attention, with some very interesting characters & a good twist.

Alfric strikes again...gold, that is. Yet another fascinating tale from this master storyteller. Great characters, great plot, and even great voice overs (all by the filmmaker himself no less). Looks like the Spotlight's on this entry. Good job, and good luck.

Another great from alfric, but I can't help feeling that this movie could have been better with more time taken to tell the story. It relied on a level of emotional attachment to Jerry which we weren't given time to make.

I think the fault lies in the opening. The movie goes straight into plot and doesn't give us any lead in to the characters or situation.

That said, once the movie is underway it is a great ride! alfric's demonstration of how to cut multiple plot threads together is as sturdy as ever, and the voice acting continues to impress.

Story: 4/5 Lacking a little overture, but well put together and well written.
Dialogue: 5/5 Again alfric demonstrates that b-movie dialogue has a home! In any other movie and performed by anyone else it would seem dreadful, but you make it part of the whole experience.
Editing: 4/5 Again, a little quick to the chase on the opening. Slight feeling of rushing through the story that wasn't apparent in other movies you've made.
Production: 5/5 Like Holy Blood II this builds up a great atmosphere to a great and shocking climax.

Another great movie out of ya alfric. The voices you came up with for this one were perfect. The music was good choices. Overall a very interesting story told well. Good job.

I can't fault you for technical errors because all the cuts and continuity issues are pretty tight but it can't help me in the -lost- feeling I am having. Is this the second half of a two part story? There is no "beginning" to speak of - meaning that the story does indeed start BUT ... How? It seems you jumped right into an ongoing story and that is of no help to the audience.

I know you have the movie description but you can't rely on that to help the audience for back story - I read it and I was still lost. Why should I care about these characters? They were never given an exposition so I know nothing about them.

On the plus side - as I said the cuts were pretty solid and all the VOs ( though all from the same voice ) sound pretty decent.

Watch your subtitles though! Some punctuation and spelling errors!

I like it! A good story, very good vo`s, again I`m amazed that most of the time I didn`t realize its only one person speaking! The music fits very well, and editing is very good! So goodbye cruel world, hello five stars! ;-)

Simple yet effective. Very nice job on this short film. The story was told right, the feel came through, and the overall movie was a success. Kind of wish that I knew more about the main character, but I'm not complaining. Nice job.

* Story/Plot - 7/10:
A pretty good short film. The plot was straight forward. The only problems are that you question what happened to the Doctor's henchman. And if the robot has a brain of a human, why is he so...robotic. The robot had no emotion and was controlled by a remote.
* Originality - 7/10:
It's another robot movie, but not like any I've really scene before. Though it was like the Frankenstein's monster of robots.
* VO's/Subs - 7/10:
The VOs were obviously done by the same person, but you did a good job changing them for each character, even though the doctor's voice got on my nerves.
* Editing - 8/10:
Some really good editing from what I could tell.
* Enjoyment Factor - 7/10:
A rather enjoyable short film.
* Overall - 36/50: Good job.
