The action sequences worked well...the v.o's were a little muffled and hard to understand...but all and all not a bad film..

OK, the action part of this film worked well. It was the best part. Well done. Unfortunately, the voice overs were pretty much inaudible. And the music should have been restarted after the first track finished, although maybe not, as the film changed totally when the demons attacked...

That was weird, to say the least. And a bit of a problem. I think if you'd done a bit more with the demons and zombies, it could have been a better film. As it was, it just 'finished' without much of a reason.

Potentially pretty good! Nice action!

Lots of action is always fun! I think you could have a good movie if you came up with a little more story and dialog. Things kind of popped up without reason... most authors will foreshadow an ending (or the use of a tool) if you look close enough for it- like a knife is shown to be in reach if it is to be used later on. The zombies came out of nowhere, with only the title to tell us about them.

You might consider working with your mic a little... breathing was heard where we should not have heard it (also "popping" during your speech)- a sock over the mic will sometimes help keep your breath from "exploding" into the mic.

Thanks for your efforts!

Nice action movie but I couldn't understand the VOs, and so I didn`t get much of your story.

Although warzone part 1, felt more like a music video than a story, you did an excellent job of keeping it based on the theme you set. This one if you ended the movie when the soldiers had fallen after taking out the last person on the machine gun, it would have been fine. If this was a stand alone movie, I could see how the creative flow could throw demons and zombies into the mix. But this is a two part series, which you based on a factual event, to spend the last few minutes in the saga on a different theme, although a quite surreal style maybe a little too much.

Mic/sound issue is still a problem. I reviewed all your movies since I have come on. I'll just type that from now on no need for the longer rants and explanations because at this point I am aware this will be the mic and sound we are stuck with. It does affect the overall quality of the film when the viewer is unable to understand what the characters are saying.

You did a great job again with your choice of scenes for the war action sequences. Good use of music throughout the film. Continue to do your thing. I just hope you two can improve the mic/sound problem because your overall star ratings will improve by just fixing that one thing.

~A My Dog Ate Your Movie review~
M: I didn't get much of a story from this. It was more like I was stuck in the middle of something. And it didn't really have an ending, are you planning a thrid one? And where did the zombies come from? That was out of nowhere. 7/20
A: Not much music going on here, just gunfire and moans. The demon sounded like a vampire.4 /10
D: I couldn't understand the VOs. They were too muffled, all I could understnad was the breathing. You need to work on that. 1/20
D: Editing was decent, though somethings were lost due to props and costumes. Maybe out in a little work on your characters, use Star Maker to make the Iraqis look more Iraqi. 10/20
O: I'll give you creedit here, the demons and zombies were a good effort at trying to make this stale story a little more original. I am in a nice mood so: 11/20
G: Well, you do have a lot of action in it, and I did laugh a little at the zombies coming from nowhere. 8/10

41 points = 3 stars

Barely made the 3 star category. I can't really say I enjoyed watching this. It was sloppily made. You seriously need to wotk on your mic. You are either holding it to closely to your mouth and speaking softly, or you need a new one.

okay, you had that one guy with a totally wrong costume for his enviorment, i won't ask about zombies, and i'll nod to ubernewbie because you were so off on just about every appearence aspect of filmaking, whether its that its not within the movies [then don't try] and if it was things like you didn't know, then just read up a few lines....

making war films about modern wars is delicate, and random zombies, ill fated red shirted soldiers, and wrong collored sets isn't the way to handle it

CRAP and insulting. As a retruned serviceman, from this very conflict, i find this to almost be a comedy, because there is nothing remotly similar to what happened there. Costumes, props and setting are all wrong and you really need to research this sort of thing. Use starmaker and import some actors with darker skin and dress them more appropratly, and what was with the zombies?
