A very beautiful and darkly seductive tale of how a man's loss and depression can push him to the edge. The voice acting was commendable as well as was the editing of the scenes. One of the best movies I have seen here so far.

Interesting. This is my first review for a trailer as i normally dont review them. Now, as a TRAILER it was a little too much. I think it revealed too much of the movie and ran a little long. It did however serve its purpose and peaked my interests

Even though I can't understand the German VOs, I can tell that the are fantastic. They, along with the music add a chilling depth to this movie that is very rare amongst other movies. The subtitles were brilliantly timed. This truly is a masterpiece, and it was made before Free Cam and Stunts and Effects.

I was prepared for it; but, that was very disturbing nonetheless. The music was intense... the tones in the voice sincere and full of desperation... the scenary and costuming and lighting and coloring was tense and serious... I knew something dreadful was going to happen; but, I did not know what for awhile and when I did, I felt powerless to stop it and simply compelled to watch it happen. It was heart-wrenching, sickening and sad, especially when he came to realize the consequences of his actions and what he had become. I felt both pity and hatred for him at the same time, I was truly disappointed in his over-reactions (you leave them, tear them apart in divorce court if you want, but you don't kill them) and a part of me was glad that he felt the self-loathing for himself that he deserved. In a way, I'm shocked that this film evoked such a strong reaction in me. The technical aspects of this film (audio-visual components etc) were spectular. The story had me glued to the screen.

There'is a great atmosphere in your movie. I think you're movie is developed like a sad love song. I was captived by the music and the story. The voiceover has an important role in this movie. You drive this story like a master.

I was drawn to review this by the slightly disturbing write and also the success this movie achieved a long time ago. I'm pleased to say that it is all you've said and also deserved the attention it got. The VO narration fits the mood and tone and especially the music perfectly. Great choice of pre expansion pack scenes as well. It would be interesting to see how you'd use the freecam now though if you shot this again. A great little exploration into the troubled jealous mind.

It was the lyricism of the writing that really got me, the few spelling and grammar mistakes were completely forgivable because the intent was completely clear. Thiis far and away the best movie I've seen on TMO, I'm going to be checking your studio now and hoping you made others of similar caliber! The other thing I particularly liked was the way you matched your custom scoring to the images. the beats to the steps, things like that... wonderful work. Do please keep it up, you deserve success from this, I only wish I could rate it higher.

excellent atmosphere, the voice (as mentioned many times before) does a great job of establishing the mood & ambience. The music is well placed, and the various urban shots are nicely chosen. Nice build up, and the punchline is nicely executed.

This dark, foreboding, trek into the mind of a heartbroken man, shows us what we humans are capable of when we are emptied of happiness through betrayal by the ones we love. The voice of the main character, a man on the edge of despair and sanity, is perfect in the calm manner in which the narraration takes, empty with no strength left in the soul. This movie deserves all the praise that it has gotten, and will lead you through a path inside the darkest parts of the heart and is well worth the time to watch.

This is a VERY well made movie. Well thought out. Meoman took a common subject and upped the ante in terms of pychological depth. This film explores the mind of a hurt man, a man who's lost the one thing he loves. A man with a troubled mind and a broken heart. Though simplistic, the narration almost felt poetic in a sense that it grabbed your attention, that everything around you was unimportant for the time being. Very well made, I applaud your master filmmaking.

This is a unique film. Direction, editing and VOs were superb. the Subtitles were also very good and much appreciated. The story was rich and though I couldn't understand the VOs words i could feel his torment. The music was a great choice though out of the box I think. The constand drumming reminded me of an action film or medieval type film, but it seemed to fits this film perfectly also allowing the tone of the movie to be carried on it. keep making great films like this. Please!

INCREDIBLE!!!! I can see why this movie has got some much attention. Its odvious A LOT of time and energy went into this project! The soundtrack was a brilliant choice,the costumes, and scenes flowed superbly! The story was intrigueing to say the least! GREAT FLICK.

Zum Film: Dieser Film ist eindeutig ein Klassiker auf TMO, den jeder gesehen haben sollte. Das allerbeste Beispiel dafür, was man alles mit einem ungemoddeten The Movies anstellen kann, einfach super!

Zur Musik: Sehr gute Sounduntermalung. Falls du die Musik selbst gemacht hast, kannste mir bitte sagen, mit welchem Prog?

Am Ende der Distanz, ein Klassiker, der sich auch nach fast einem halben Jahr immernoch 5 Sterne verdient hat!

"Am Ende der Distanz" ist einer der besten, vielleicht sogar der beste Film, der jemals auf TMO zu finden war. Aber was ich vollkommen beschissen finde, sind Recuts und erneut hochgeladene Filme. Deswegen bewerte ich diesen eindeutigen 5-Sterne Film nur mit zwei Sternen.

Erm It was good but I don't see what the hype is all about. For what it is its close to perfect, but its hardly an original idea. The soundtrack was good and the camera work, but these so called 'thriller' movies seem to be the easiest genre to make from what I've seen, so I can't commend it that much...

This is a good movie, but not really stunning. I like the way you create the dark atmosphere, but am disappointed with the voiceoever content. It sounds like a badly written suicidal rant (it may just be the English translation though). I am afraid I cringed when the movie took the hackneyed turn of 'It all happened three weeks ago'. Don't get me wrong, this is good stuff, probably much better in German, but I truly cannot see how it garnered all these awards.

Dieser Film ist das, was Blade Runner für das SciFi-Genre ist...ein Meilenstein mit einer absolut hervorragenden Atmosphäre.
Dieser Film zeigt einfach zu deutlich, dass auch ganz gro�?es Kino aus Deutschland kommen kann.
Dies ist einfach der Film, der einem im Gedächtnis bleibt.
