I thought the whole story was alot of fun,and I especially liked the numerous scenes and background sounds of Tipsy punching out the lowlife. You carried that one off forever, but still,I was wanting more of it hahaha...
Good story, and if the others are like this,I will be watching more.

How can I give any film that makes more than one reference to wearing panties on his head less than five stars. Personally I think this had some moments of pure comic genius. I loved you keep cutting to Tipsy continually punching the guy in the head whilst Rehab and Bunny carried on the narrative. I consider myself throughly entertained (which I think is the main thing, only put this in because of the thread) with some of TMO's most original and interesting comic characters.

Originality: 4
Well, since it's the 17th in a series, there's no way for it to be totally original. But it was still quite fresh and new.

Plot: 5
This is where the movie really shined! I loved the plot, and this comedy had plenty of it! It all made sense and retained its funniness.

Funniness: 4
No laugh-out-loud moments, but it was consistently funny. I loved the "sacred jewels" joke and the running gag of Tipsy beating on that guy.

Editing: 5
Great editing. I liked the way you used scenes differently than normal and switched things up a bit.

Overall Effect: 5
I really enjoyed this movie a lot! I would recommend it to aanyone.

Definitely one of the better movies in the Tipsy series. Great job on this one. It was funny. It was character driven. It was an all-out good time. I'm not exactly sure where Tipsy and Rehab are going after this, but I hope it's somewhere cool. Good job.

OK, I've got to admit, this series is funny. When I first heard of it, I thought it would just be stupid. It IS silly, but in a good way. Actually makes me laugh. And the comedy almost always relies entirely on the dialogue, which I think is the best kind. Keep em coming!

02 REVIEW

Ok, i hv 2 admit when i saw this post appear on my review thread my instant reaction was, "SWEET JESUS! Is this franchise still running?" Admiteddly i haven't checked out ur studio 4 some time and so it appears i hv missed quite a few Tipsy adventures. I was expecting this movie not to be all that good, Tipsy was a legend for her time, her movies were all five star worthy, but i was certain the franchise must hv died by now and so thought this was a poor way to revitalise a franchise. So what a pleasant suprise to c that this franchise is as witty, original and as downright nutty as it always used 2 b. Lol. I still absolutely love these movies, this one could easily run for the very best of the Tipsy movies, it was absolutely hilarious.

As with tradition with the Tipsy formula it followed a specific routines, but it also did it with such indredible style and such unique humour that it worked absolutely brillianty and had me in absolute hysterics. What was especially noticeable about this Tipsy adventure was the fact that the editing has improved a gr8 deal since the lasy ones i watched. They were pretty average in their editing styleslast time, now they flowed so smoothly and they just looked absolutely brilliant. The dialogue between Tipsy and Rehab stole the show as per usual and made me laugh so damn much. The good old fight sequences also delivered, especialyl under the better editing.

So anything i disliked? Nope, loved it 2 bits. Tipsy is back in my eyes, and she ain't going out with a fight. God bless her! Wins an 02PARSIM APPROVED!

Now on the downside I would say the subtittles where just a little to fast, how about trying some VO's. I would also say I would have liked to seen a little more haha in the middle of the movie too.

A very funny movie, the characters were quite well developed although I thought that Rehab could have benefited from a slightly deeper characterisation. The character of Tipsy was very well done though, we really got a feeling of what she was like. Bunny had a very well developed character as well, so much so that I think the movie would have been better if he had a little more screen time so that you're hard work of making a well rounded character could have paid off a bit more.
The use of music was reasonable although a bit over used at times and some of the transitions were a bit hap-hazard. The general use of it to create the right atmosphere was well executed though.
The editing was on the whole very good although there were a few jumpy bits such as when Bunny is waking up from being beaten up and you have repeated the scene lots of times his eyes open then all of a sudden are shut again and opening.
The story was reasonable although the main plot (the two thugs) finished just over half way through and the rest of the movie fell a bit flat due to the lack of plot.
The subtitles were perfect, they were on the screen long enough to read comfortably and changed quick enough to keep the pace up. The dialogue was quite funny and you had a few good gags in there but some of it was a bit dry and I felt you could have built up a clearer picture of what each character was like by putting more characterisation into some of the dialogue, once again Tipsy's was well done though, it was mainly Rehab's dialogue which was in need of improvement.
I do think this movie would benefit greatly from VO's, moreso than many others as there is so much comedy to be had from the expression of people's voices, the effect of which, just can't be achieved using subtitles. I do appreciate it can be hard to get voice actors sometimes though.
All in all a very good comedy, very funny although lacking a bit in plot. 4 stars!

I got a few chuckles from this one, which was much better than any of the others I have seen. I have a hard time liking any comedy that is done with subtitles. There were a lot of good things done with the actual making of the movie. The prop use, the characters, and sound effects. You are a really good movie maker and I hope to see something with VOs. That would really help your flicks a lot, because everything else seems great.

Pretty good work, this is a fun flick! The characters are very strange and a lot goes on in 8 minutes, but it's never a confusing film. The subtitles were also very easy to keep up with. 4 Stars!

Expection: According to the MoMc form, this appears to be the 17th of the series. With that said, I might not be able to understand what's going to happen unless I watch the previous 16 episodes or if there is some kind of recap.

**** MOMC / HARDCORE REVIEW! *****

General Summary: This one is a rather interesting flick. Looks like Tipsy was drunk during a party, which probably happened in the previous episode, and heads out to the bar and becomes more drunk. Interesting to say the least.

Merits: I liked the subtitles and the prop use in front of the house. I thought that was a nice touch. The story seems like an interesting one and works somewhat. I also liked the subtitles and dialogue. There was also spotted prop-use in front of the house and I thought that was nice.

Questions and Criticism: However, I thought this kind of film brought me some questions. I guess without watching the previous 16, it's going to make me wonder if all this was explained previously. I can assume the drunken Tipsy part easy; that was recapped by the mention of a party. The Genie and the Jewels made me wonder ... where did they come from and why do they exist. I guess a recap would have helped here, or perhaps an opening sequence that reminds of Tipsy and the characters in this movie.

I thought the sound-effects were a bit odd. The fight sounds near the end of the movie was a bit over-the-top and lasted longer than it should. And that explosion sound when the glass cups clashed was weird. Seeing that this is the 17th episode in the series, I take it that's normal.

I also noted character recognition ... or the difficulty of anyway. I've noticed some words capitalized like Bunny and Snake but I couldn't tell who was what except Tipsy. I think an opening title theme introducing these characters would have worked here, especially those who happened to have joined in the middle of the series.

Now, I mentioned that the dialogue was okay and I liked it but like most humor, it would be best done if there was some VOs. With VOs, you can project that humor even further on! With that said, you could probably recruit some voice actors by either posting your request in the Lionhead forums or even looking for some Voice Actors at:
http://futurestarnetwork.com/VO_Database.html

Laughing Factor: I found some laughable moments in this film. My favourite would have to be the ending. When you're missing your underwear, then something must have happened!

Closing: Overall, it's a pretty decent film. But I think with a bit more understanding of the series, I think one can enjoy this film even better.

Score: ~3.2 (although, this score MIGHT have been higher if I had the opportunity to watch the series from the beginning)

***MOMC Review***

Insanity is the name of the game with this surreal story of a hard-drinking clown willing to sacrifice her friends in the name of comfort and satisfaction. I'm serious. When Tipsy the clown started dropping fists like Bruce Lee in a snake-pit, my brain sort of exploded. The strange allure of this title really comes from the carnivalesque atmosphere that rides throughout, making this an enjoyable, if slight, film to watch.

Nonetheless, I found the film fundamentally flawed in its presentation of this zaniness. There was really no bells or whistles; the movie was stripped down to a fault, I think, with some sort of choppy editing and, at times, jarring transitions. The lack of VOs sort of hurt this one too. You have so many funny, weird lines of dialogue, and their sustained only through subtitles that really don't translate the humor I felt this movie was striving for. I also found much of this confusing; maybe that's because I haven't followed the series, though, so I won't deduct points for that.

All in all, a strange journey I don't mind taking. I just wish there was more to it all.

MoMc review:

The subtitles and costumes were well-done, and the music matched the action. There were a few scenes that made me smile.

It felt like there was a lot going on that might have been explained in previous installments, but assumed as knowledge in this one. I really didn't understand who all of the characters were or how they were related to each other. It really is crucial to lay some groundwork in each part of a series to let the viewer know what has happened before. Even if people have watched the earlier movies, some time might have passed between movies.

This one didn't do a lot for me. Half the time it just didn't really make sense. Fair amount of bad edits. Out of the Box music. Captions that went to fast at times. I always feel bad giving a 3 rating, but I would have felt worse giving a higher one. I apologize for not being able to go higher. :(

I'm a little disapointed in some of the reviewers who watched this movie, you'd think with over 8 minutes long they would have more than 1 line to say. I think it took a while for anything interesting to happen, you can't really say a clown getting wasted is funny just because she's a clown, the costume for her was well done though, especially the spiked collar and it kinda suited the personality and eventually I got to grips what was going on, but then occasionaly the story threw me off again into something random. Music was iffy really, I think some of the tracks could use replacing. Editing was good for the most part, what really won me over was Tipsy's personality, a very pissed off person who gets constantly annoyed at the people around her.

First off, great story. What a great way to start off, and end. Kept my attention all the way through.
Very good dialouge, this movie kept my intrest all the way through.
Clever visual gags, I like how Tipsy was still punching that guy...

Now for a unique rating system, attempt.
Where the characters themselves?

Tipsy - 8/10 - She is just as mean as ever in this one, this time, she has a lot of gags, and her dialouge has gotten more interesting... I think that what you were shooting for with this character was reached, and done well. That is if you were aiming for: ENERGETIC, INTRESTING, ANGRY, A LITTLE MEAN. Thats what I think of Tipsy.

Rehab - 6/10 - I don't think Rehab was her typical dumb self that you portrayed her to be in previous episodes. She seemed kind of smart in this one. Without any jokes on her, she seems to be normal, I think more focus should have been put on her...

RESOLUTION: I thought this one had a great resolution, that Bunny, is finally set free. He had a short life, maybe 3 movies but as it says in the movie, and as Tipsy wished. "I wish you would come see us every now and then" I'm looking foward to those drop ins. :D Can't get enough of this character. :D

FUNNINESS: This episode wasn't very funny, I don't go for humor like this it's alright, but I'm into to more randomness, but this was good... a good flow of jokes, and visual gags, probably not the funniest, but definetely not bad at all...

I still notice that it seems to jump whenever you switch fonts... I like your style, it's a good way of noticing characters, but it seems to jump...

Good movie, but it didn't really pull me in that much, not my type of comedy, but still pretty great. I think you had fun making it, becuase I had fun watching... keep them up. :D
