Film Description
More fun than a strangled horse! This is a cautionary tale that warns the viewer of the psychological pitfalls of narcotics use by bringing them into the fragile headspace of a person experiencing a toxic reaction! Choke on it!

My god I didn't think true terror that you feel twisting your stomach could accually be felt by watching something made with "The Movies" Move over David Lynch. This peice of work had me feeling as if Samara was going to come right out of my PC screen and hang me. Don't ever stop making films. In fact I'de love to see what you could do with some real celuloid.

The 60's drug culture comes out in full force in this great little film...The use of props and sound is surpassed by none on TMO. This film makers parents must very proud of him...If they only new the demons that lurked deep within his mind...Thanks to these movies we all do..

Cinematic Masterpiece.
This movie is a drug for sight, for sound, and ultimately for the mind, with the only side-effect being an educational experience through the magic of this film of the dangers of drug-use.

A 4-star film - some great visuals and very trippy.

But what drug possessed this filmmaker to make a film without recognising the musicians is something we should be closing our borders against. An automatic 1-star.

That was truly unique. This is probably the most daringly original piece of work that I have seen on this site, and it's only 4 minutes long and you made it in 1930 for Christ's sake! It's not very often that I say to myself "How did he do that?" after watching one of these movies. Simply amazing.

Wow, what an awesome psychodelic trip! :)
Brilliant original story plot which takes you on a unforgetable journey into a drugged mind.
The visuals and effects adds a deep atmosphere.
With this movie, you don't need to try bad drugs to have a cool trip. :)

This gave me the F'in chills - it reminded me of when my friends and I were on acid watching Twin Peaks. I noticed somebody below mentioning David Lynch. You really captured the mood and the choice in music helped - my eyes were twitching...it was scary.

Well that was mad, well executed, and a great use of horse heads.

Surreal dude! Very artistic and most definitely unlike anything I've ever seen before on TMO. I'm disapointed at the goal of your studio (you may very turn out to be my arch nemesis), but I can't argue with the talent and genius of your art. Great work!

I swore I revewied this. Grrr. I like that review too. I'm pretty sure I've had this night but the details escape me. Surreal but consistent on its own terms, this is great stuff. People will either love it or hate it, but it will leave a mark on them. Very creative use of props and scenes (bathtub).

A very artsy movie in a surrealistic style. Good idea to film it in black and white. Great effort in the little details, for example the horse heads and all that stuff. I am not sure if I really understood this movie, but then I guess, a movie like this one needs a storyline that is not easy to follow...

The visuals were absolutly outstanding.
That has to be said again!
The visuals were absolutly outstanding.

This was a phenomenal piece of filmaking. Crazy inventive use of sets..props..editing. I mean technology wise, it just doesn't get much better then this.

I'm not sure what goes on in your mind, but I like it. Its a walk through some dark and truly maddening space within us all. Unclean, unholy..yet spiritual and awakening.

This isn't simply a film..its an opera. A dark, psychotic opera that has opened the floodgates of the mad.

The story of this movie was copletily non-existing. You should have an awfull good imagination to understand it. The music and the use of props was really impressing and made the entire movie a surreal chaos. This movie fitted the black and white collours perfectly. Beutiful, morbid, surreal, wild, stunning and original.

Editing : 3/3 - Hard to call on this one, since some of the editing may have been done that way on purpose. I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Good editing to get that strange psycadelic effect.
Dialogue : 3/3 - The subtitles were effective and easy to read. You might want to turn off the mumbling though.
Plot : 3/4 - Nice plot. A strange trip indeed.
Scene/Prop use : 3/3 - Nice use of props to get a very etheral feel
Entertainment : 4/5 - I found this to be very interesting, more for the visuals than the story.
Music : 2/2 - Good music, accents the movie well.

Total : 18/20 - 5 stars - Great job.

Well, it was bound to happen -- it took a long time, but an avant-garde movement has officially begun on TMO, and this just might be the flagship titles, the "Un Chien Andalou" that disrupts the filmmaking norms established here. This was a beautiful, transgressive work of radical art detailing the surreal headscapes of the chemically enhanced, coupling strange imagery with twitchy editing. It was also a good idea to shoot this in black and white. You have an entire vocabulary of film history behind you -- we think of German expressionism, Soviet montage, French impressionism, or maybe just art films that followed those eras.

I really liked this and I'm probably going to bookmark it. Excellent work.

PS. As for the review of my "film"... uh, thank you, I think. Just please do not mistake that for any indication of the extent of my filmmaking abilities -- if anything, that thing's a place holder. Errrgh.... yeah... anyway...

TTTRRRIIIIPPPYYYY!!!!
WHOE!
You've made some wierd stuff in the past, but this one tops them all (so far)
The props made the whole movie spectalcular, and the editing was also superb.
It was really kind of disturbing, and creepy, I dunno why you made this comedy...unless your a drugee yourself, and you enjoy this "comedy".
I gave it five stars because I really didn't know what else to give this.

Well, I have to say that was very impressive. A fantastic use of props. When I mentioned how I didn't watch movies made before 1950, those films are usually made by people who just purchased the game and don't know what they are doing. Your decision to use the 1930s was a concious and brilliant choice for this picture. The black & white and grittyness really adds a lot. Nice job.

Outstanding!
You have excelled yourself here. I mean, all the signs have been there that you had something like this in you but now it finally comes out and, whoa!
How can I even begin to critic it in any standard way when it's a work of art...a surreal and daring view of 'the other side' and a blast of creativity and originality that stands head and shoulders clear of anything vaguely similar in theme.
If I have to fault it on anything it would be the end, an unecessary re-focusing on the 'real world' plot.
Great movie...a Damn Fine Movie!

Its ok, until he pisses on your lighter.
Then it smells kinda groovie kinda funkey anyway...

Hmmm im impressed very impressed what a film that is :( shame theres no lens curving effects to top it off or a way to freeze a time over the timer until a point that would empthsise the time phucking effect more :) a great little vision and one begging what if, if there was more feature at your disposal. Loved the flicking between lights in the mirror scene, nice little bits made this film. Great use of the rope too, the introduction and its later main role as it were... the [censored!]ing horses i swear :D you've mastered the surreal i think

Exceptional. one of the best artistic visions i've seen thus far. You captured the essence of losing your mind and still made the story understandable to everyone, not just people who experience narcotics.
