Film Description
I made this movie when I was bored. Constructive criticism only please.. I don't mind low ratings as long as you give a reason as to why.

WARNING: CONTAINS HIGH AMOUNTS OF VULGAR LANGUAGE.
Contains high amounts of comedy.. use sparingly.

Pretty funny, reminded me of the ''Bicentennal man'' (with Robin William) when he was telling some jokes :) your robot humour is exactly like that, and that is why i think it funny!

this film proves that "it's all in the delivery"
and "the telling is evreything"
the robotic monotone killed the humour of the jokes so much that it became funny again !
the feedback was great, i hope it was intentional.

You should definitely turn off the mumbling. I know you're using text reader. It's a good software. But a lot of the time, it sounds unclear. So don't be lazy and type some subtitle in. Has some good joke so I'm giving you 3 star

I make a movie same way like you do. Check it out. http://movies.lionhead.com/movie/56007

The mumbling - please turn it off - it spoils any good microphone work. Deliver it back with the mumbling off and it will get better marks. A bit sweary for me too but you did warn us!!!! Great ending - good feedback sounds.

Unfortunately I couldn't make out what the robot said most of the time:
Maybe you should try wavepad (or add Subtitles) -

Pretty funny. Love the idea of a robot telling jokes. The only thing was that sometimes the voice is a bit hard to understand. Other than that cool film.

that was really funny! the jokes were awesome :) so anyway, the only one criticism i have of this movie was the fact that the robots voice was a little hard to understand, and the speed of its delivery didnt help matters. but its a little criticim of something that i thought wouldnt be good when i first looked at it. how pleasantly suprised i was :) Good work!

please look at my movie if you already havent done so : http://movies.lionhead.com/movie/52482

A bad film which was almost rescued by its final lines.

The joke in this film is the delivery of all the gags by a robot. That's just too much for 3.5 minutes. Maybe a "30-seconds of piss" film .. but here, the joke tires very very quickly. After the initial novelty, the poor comic timing of the automaton ruins any semblance of comedy; which is a shame as some of the later gags are pretty good.

I thought it was hilarious, you just should have used your voice, instead of a robot's voice. It was kind of like standup-wait, that is what it is.

Hm, I'm feeling a little bad right now for being the first to rate this movie low. Well, I hope you can understand my reasons:
1 - The voice was extremely hard to follow (ok, so I'm not a native English speaker). The second time watching the flick, I understood most. I can't say I found it particulary funny, but it was ok. At least you did have somthing to say throughout the movie.
2 - Why did you make a movie out of this? Wouldn't just a sound file have been sufficient? The scenes didn't really add anything to the content of the movie. They matched what he was telling sometimes, but not always. Actually, is it possible that the sound track went a bit off during upload?
3 - Minor point, but what is with the standard background? Too lazy to change it?

In your defense, the last scene was a very fitting ending. And it explains why you had to do this outside. Still, it doesn't turn this into a movie imho.

Jokes weren't to bad. The robotic VO was hard to follow at times. SOunded like a text to audio converter. Sometimes on those you need to spell words wrong to make them sound better. All in all, not bad. A very high 3 which rounds to a solid 4.

Funny idea! I have a soft spot for Microsoft Sam. A few suggestions: turn off the mumbling. I would have used a different backdrop on the stage for this. Also, a subtitle for each point (1-10) would have helped understand the voiceover better. Also, you should put a warning in the description about the language.

Very funny ....The only thing that holds this back from a 5 star is the mumbling in the back ground..It was very annoying...Next time shut off the Mumbling when doing Voice overs..I did like the Microsoft sam swearing...Very funny..

Okay then. Heres the pro's and con's.
Problems:
The voice. It was very occasionally difficult to understand, although if I strained to listen I could make it out, I believe it was a mistake to process the voice in this way. The mumbling in the background also was a distraction.
The Jokes were sort of in the middle. I thought most of it was funny. And although I don't think it was a big problem, the bad language didn't help them along.
That aside! This was an expertly crafted well thoughout movie. The editing was clever and accented the actors performance very well. The end was random yet strangely pleasing. :) And the use of the stage set was well done too. I felt it could have ended up been boring, but that didn't happen, although the background was a tad mundane.
I believe this movie deserves 3 1/2, but we can't give half stars!!! It was stand up comedy, robot style!!! Good job.

The part of the movie I understood was great fun...unfortunally I didnt get that much due to the VO were really hard to understand. Too bad really.

I do however like the idea, and you had some real great points.

The ending felt a tad to forced. (a little like "well, how do I tie all this up...hmm... robot malfunction scene...I wonder...")

You have made some excellent cutting and editing, which made the audience able to watch to whole movie, without getting bored, although the movie only consisted by a robot talking. That shows you got talent in editing, that does.

Yeah I agree with the previous rievew - that sim had to shut up plus it made it even more harder to understand. Anyways besides all that I thought that was really funny. I hate some of the same things as well. Good film-especially for something you made just when you were bored. You should make movies when your bored all the time lol JK. I'd like to see what you would make if you weren't bored good job!
