Film Description
Dragon Chaser - A Swedish Meatball Western

This is a western tale with a flawed anti-hero as the protagonist.

Inspired by the works of directors such as Sergio Leone, Sergio Corbucci and Sam Peckinpah. Mixed with some noir-like internal monologue (although Corbucci sometimes used it).

This version includes:
- Custom Titles, I tried to make them look like dime-novel prints
- Minor music changes
- Minor subtitle work
- Some weird fade ins/outs were fixed

The "hero" in this flick is by far the most flawed and dislikable in any western I've seen here on TMO. Hence, I absolutely love him. It gets so dull watching those flawless one-line-wonders offing the bad guy and getting the girl. This guy is one to really care for.

Good editing and very well written dialogue makes this a certain five. Good job! Here's hoping for a sequel.

Yes sergio leone could be proud...
You created and anti hero with a depth, someone we can hate and in same time have pity for.
I really hope to see more from this character

Clever editing and nifty references! Not a big western fan, but thus, The Sergios' would be proud! Keep up the good work. Thx, N

Great editing and an interesting plot. However the storyline feels incomplete as the script and subtitles was not consistant enough for my tasting.

Brilliant! I loved it! great work editing and a thick tight plot to boot! i look forward to your other work. My only tiny problem is that it was constant narration and needed dialogue and to be longer. But that aside, what a bloody excellent peice of virtual filmaking!!

Liked the editing; however, your "subtitling technique" for lack of a better term is dull. I felt lost through it, sometimes it really threw me off. But I mostly got it, and I enjoyed the fact that the hero is not really a hero we usually see. Too bad the animations for being drunk make him look like a real junkie. I get what you were going for. Overall it was ok. I would give you a 2.5 but since I can't I'll give you a 2. I feel it should be between a 2-2.5 for weak subtitles and a plot that wasn't really interesting.

Really good subtitles, plot, charismatic characters and story (sadly the encounter wih the Reverend is a litle confusing). A notable western! The dialogues and references are the best! Gratz!

Not a bad film but it feels incomplete. The idea of a drunken gunslinger who straightens out when danger threatens is not really that new, but that doesn't really work against this movie. What does is that it feels like we are supposed to feel the protaganist is more pathetic then he's shown to be. I think you could stand to demean him a little more before the showdown... anyway it captured the feel of a spaghetti (pardon me, swedish meatball) western well enough and I'm a sucker for junkie antiheroes! 4 stars!

Great character you have there, he could go far. Good use of custom titles and soundtrack. Editing was mostly good, script ok but could have been better.
Good premise but I felt there was something missing by the end, not sure what but something a little extra that would point toward where the next episode would lead.
Hovering between 3 and 4 here, but will go for the 4 for the stand out main char. (cant really call him the hero :) )
Good film!

The idea is very clever. But I got lost in plot. The subs need some work and edit is sub par. The music was well done, and the main character is interesting. I just feel like it didn't come together well, overall. There were some good scenes, but the film really didn't grasp me like it should of. Good effort, though! - 3 stars

Got to tell you, that was great. A brilliant charachter, and a great western that sticks to an important rule. There are no good guys...
I think I spotted most of the improvements. Good work on the music and titles.
