Film Description
**Disclaimer** I apologize in advance for the low volume at points, but if you turn up the volume on your speakers, the music was adjusted to try and balance it out.

I dont expect everyone to get this movie...atleast not after the first viewing.
The plot revolves around the metaphor "juice N Cookies". This is most strongly pointed out after Chris's Girlfriend dumps him because she is still in school but claims he is in the real world now, cause he has a job and less time...but then Chris finds out that during a meeting at his job, they will have juice and cookies, which is actually based on true events...events that me and my friends find to be funny about the world in general...how silly is the idea of eating juice and cookies with your co-workers and manager? Unless maybe you work at a daycare...WARNING! Daycare employees may not find this movie entertaining.

I liked this one. The production values (aside from the already mentioned sound issues) were top notch. I'm typing this and staring at the button notched at 4 stars, knowing it's wrong. But the end was just too rushed to get a full 5 points from me. I'd explain in more detail, but the movie is too good to ruin for new viewers.

How do I explain this... You wanted a cryptic ending that provoked discussion, but you were too vague. You needed just one more element to make the viewer doubt what they were seeing. The "juice and cookies" man, whatever he represented in his first form, should have returned before you pulled the twist ending out.

I'm staring at the 5 stars again.

You know what.. TAKE IT. 5 stars!!! I ENJOYED THIS. Just think about rewriting the end with just a TASTE of purpose. I know what you were trying for, but this is short form cinema. You have to be a bit more blunt. Sorry if I confuse people with my words. You'll understand better if you watch the film!

Ok, the voice overs were sometimes a little bit quiet... BUT.. 1st: you have subtitles and 2nd: although the voice overs were sometimes a little bit quiet, they had a great accentuation and a lot of charisma. I like them very much. Your movie has a lot of intelligent, funny humor and in my opinion, it deserves absolutely 5 Stars. Please excuse my bad english. I can really good understand english... but I can't write or speak it ;)

nothin' wrong with juice n cookies, playa. funny as hell. That part at the end was hilarious. "Mr. Juicy cookie!" my only critique is the volume thing which you already know about. I liked it.

I don't know why, but I thought this movie was hilarious, I still got no idea what it is about. The first subway part where the guys going 'mmm...mmmmmm', just classic. The phone part was funny except for the volume that burst one of my eardrums, I think. Anyway, good movie and real good voice acting, creative as I've seen yet, and I still don't get it. Keep it up.

I wasn't really into the whole Juice & Cookies bit. I understand what you were going for, it just din't work for me personally. With that said, I gotta say the movie flowed real well, a lot of the VO work was VERY good (be sure to get Audacity for FREE, you can do an amplify on low volumne among other things). I thought the twists on the Juice & Cookies were clever. Overall I think I probably just missed the big picture on it. Final rating for me is a solid 3 +1 star for being a first movie. It totally smokes MY first movie!

I have no idea what that was all about, but apart from the volume, as you mentioned, I thought it had a style and rythm that is missing from a lot of the films released.
Even the dialogue flowed well, though it made very little sense to me.
Film made me smile, you could make a great Gene Wilder & Steven Pryor style comedy I bet.

Good job on the voice work, even if it was a little quiet. I liked the idea behind this movie.

I thought that was pretty funny in a smart way; very good VOs, although a bit on the low-volume side. A couple editing snafus with the fade outs and could've used some more cutting of a couple scenes to make them more visually interesting. Very good.

Well put together, Maurice. I know you hated my movie, but I don't care. Your's is great, and really that much better. I'm glad I watched it. Clever, wry, and even a dad philosophical. Nicely done.

This movie had a message and was well thought out. Also, it poissibly has the best-written dialogue and most convincing voice acting of any movie I've seen on TMO. Not sure I quite understood the very end scene, but this movie had me hooked. There wasn't a moment of boredom and the characters were great. Excellent job! More like this please!

A great movie you have made here. As you mentioned, the VO was lacking sound so I took that into account but the use of subtitles was good as I had no problem following the storyline which I thought was original. The editing was alright as one minute the train was full of people then the next wasn't. When the VO was clear and I was able to hear it, the voices was good and overall, a good entertaining movie!

An interesting movie. Pretty funny at parts, but it kind of seems to be mostly something that makes you think. Obviously the quite voice volume was a bit of setting, but otherwise an all around well done movie.

movie explains what life is after all, a full circle. Wanting what we want when we can't have it and when we finally get what we want wanting what we had before. I guess the constant in our lives is that at every stage there will always be juice n cookies to help comfort us along the way! nice movies maurice, can not wait for the sequel.

Good use of voice. Interesting. I thought it was a bit talky, could have had more happening. Maybe something happen to drive in the message rather than just the phone call.

Funny Film. I kinda did not get the meaning of the film but definitely interesting. Good voice overs. Volume was the only problem but you knew this so good job on the film. The scenes fit well. Storyline was good to a point

That wasn't too bad, i'm glad you put subtitles with the VO. If you can get continuity with your sound volume it would've probably got 4*'s from me.

The sound needs fixing - but the voicing, movie flow and continuity make it an interesting movie to watch.

This is a very funny with a clever message. Anyone who has worked in an office needs to watch this movie! The voice acting was great and the improvison with the scenes was also very good. Good editing job also. I hope to see many more releases from 2 Seconds Entertainment

Say me if i mistake, the movie is mainly about that small pleasures of life that always stay in our mind ?The little things we enjoy and that at end become a part of. At least i took it as.
I think that the first reviews were a bit hard.
This movie have yes tow big flaws and in my mind both sound related
The voice recording of course as said previously and too a music that not fitted to the mood of the movie and even killed it. A custom funky or groovy music would have been nice.
I have nothing to do on the movie editing , this one was well done.
The characters were , very well choosen and fitted to the movie.
The voice on itself seems for me being skilled but sadly here too desserved and killed by the sound problem.
My advice would be to rework the movie in the postprod to change the voice level and to put new and customs musics.
Overall it was a movie i liked, in my opinion it was theses sound problems that desserve your creation and this is something you can rework easely to give us a new version of it.
I done it for my movies.

Well..

It WAS funny, made me laugh anyway im just at a loss as to why I gave you 4-stars.. Wasnt bad but it wasnt perfect, I suggest trying to make the voice overs louder next time.

Mildly funny, VO's muffled and just didn't make a lot of sense. The very few mild funny parts made you rech two but without tht it would have been a one.
