Winner of the "BEST HORROR PICTURE MoMc Golden Skull Award"! Thank you very much!

GERMAN VOICE OVERS WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES!

Three young men are sitting together and they are tell about some urban legends. But be careful: some stories can be true! This movie is inspired by "Urban Legends", one of my favorite movies. But it's not a "remake" of the movie: it's a new story of "Urban Legends"! :)

A girlfriend of me do a lot of work, to translate the german storyline into english subtitles, so I hope, the english speaking community will enjoy my movie.
Special thanks to the english speaking audience, which have watched my movie so far. I guess, it's laborious to read 12 minutes long english subtitles ;) Therefore: Thank you very much for watching! ...And be careful in future if someone will tell you a "urban legend"... muahahah ;)

Drei junge Männer sitzen abends zusammen und erzählen sich unheimliche Geschichten... aber Vorsicht! Manche Geschichten können auch wahr werden! Viel Spa?? beim Gruseln :)

Wer Spass an solchen "Modernen Sagen" hat kann übrigens mal bei http://www.sagen.at reinschauen - da gibt es noch ganz viele andere unheimliche und mysteriöse Stories, von denen der eine oder andere bestimmt schon mal gehört hat ;)

Ich bitte um Verständnis, dass es derzeit etwas dauern kann, bis ich mir eure Filme anschaue und bewerte: da mich "The Movies" etwas langweilt, spiele ich momentan wieder "World of Warcraft" und schaue daher auch nicht mehr so oft hier rein. Danke schön für alle bisherigen Votes! "The Movies" ist sicherlich ein Spiel, dass die Kreativität fördert und mit dem man seine Fantasie verarbeiten bzw. ausleben kann... dennoch wird es aufgrund dem Mangel an Sets und neuen Szenen leider doch irgendwann arg langweilig (zumindest war es bei mir so) :( ...aber wer weiss: wenn ich WoW irgendwann wieder satt haben sollte, komme ich evtl. mit einem neuen Film mal zurück ;) - Vielen Dank an die deutsche Community - speziell bei themoviesvison.de ...und machts gut! Danke schön, bye und bis irgendwann mal wieder.

The best horror film online! 'Death Trap' is a chilling tale of murder, fun and betrayal. A sequel has to be made and I do agree with people that the movie could have gone on for hours and I would have kept watching. The girl doll was really scary!

A very good horror film - I liked the twists. Good acting, especially during the climax.

All the characters were good story tellers - and so, clearly, is the director of this film.

One minor criticism, I thought the actors were too high in the mix, but not by much.

This is up there with the best TMO horrors.

This is one of the best horror movies on this site! I loved the ending (I don't want to give it away to those who havn't seen it yet)! The stories were really good especially the second one. Personally I had chills from the second story because it was weird, twisted, creepy, etc. Well done!

Very well done, a great horror thriller in which was set up perfectly with the plot how the three people were actually telling the stories. I must give you, you had me tricked when Jamie and the other man were just joking about killing each other, and the man ran outside, I really thought he had killed Jamie.

Well done, an edge-of-your-seat thriller in which will get as much success as you most likely enjoyed creating it, well done.

Geiler Film, ehrlich.
Endlich einer(in Deutsch) der dem Horror-Genre gerecht wird.

Ich kenn das, ich hatte auch mal eine lange zeit überhaupt keine Lust mehr auf dieses Spiel doch diese Seite und die Filme die hier veröffentlicht werden (auch die Filme von dir natürlich), wecken die Lust irgendwie wieder auf.

This was fantastic, and even though I already knew the urban legends they were talking about (see: Campfire Stories, Urban Legend,) it was still captivating and well put together.

The subtitles, though not perfect, still were functional and the way the movie was put together is amazing.

I feel extremely bad for taking so long to watch this movie. I remember this movie winning the first week of MoMc and so it surely should and I'm glad it was also hot-picked! But since then, I don't know why it took me so long to watch which is one of the best horror movies I seen on TMO (Dare I say, better then Fear!) I think the english subtitles did have mistake bt it was still understandable to read and just the whole movie works really well and you still managed to pull off some nice editing moves considering the games limitations!

I was told back when I was a child about a story involving missing fingers but I can't remember it now, all I remember it was scary as hell and those stories you just told are just truly scary (by the way, I'm watching this 2:50am and now, I'm scared to go to sleep, lol). But excellent movie! Sorry it took so long for to finally watch this movie!

Heh heh...die besten Geschichten schreibt halt noch das Leben selbst ;-)
Ist jedenfalls eine der besten Streifen, die ich hier gesehen habe. Man merkt an keiner Stelle, dass das Program nur eine begrenzte Anzahl an Szenen bietet so aus einem Guss wirkt alles. Bei der Pointe von der "Hund"-Geschichte hätte ich es ein wenig verkürzt (die erklärenden Rückblenden meine ich), hat es ein wenig ausgebremst. Ansonsten NIX zum meckern. Die VO waren über aus gut!

As others have said, could have easily watched another 20++ minutes of this.

Personally I would have stopped it at 11:10, however your ending was very good as well.
Also, LOVED the dolls, very very clever. Also, clever with the "gore" props.

Definately one of the best movies I've seen.

Amazing film! This one and B(R)ESTS are my top two movies on this site! Actually, this one almost surpasses B(R)ESTS. Excellent editing and narration! I absolutly loved the ending! English subtitles could've used a little work but still! This is some of the best work on the site! I also loved that you did so well without fance "Special Effects"! Great job!

Absolut Goiler Film,habe allerdings mehr gelacht als Gänsehaut bekommen.Super Voice(Gruss an deine Freunde).Story war auch Klasse.

Wenn du mal lust auf einen Western verspürst der knappe 20 minuten geht und auch mit eigenem Sound und Sprache untermalt ist schau doch mal bei mir vorbei.

Gro�?artige Geschichte, welche gekonnt eine unheimliche Stimmung aufzubauen vermag. Die Idee dahinter ist äu�?erst originell, aber erst durch die tolle Umsetzung und vor allem die geschickte Erzählführung kann sie ihre volle Wirkung entfachten. Ein durch und durch überzeugender Horrorfilm! Besonders am ende wird man das eine oder andere mal überrascht.. Klasse!

Originality: 9/10 The only reason it's not 10/10 is becaused it is based on Urban Legends,but honestly this is better.

Plot/Story:10/10 Quite simply an amazing piece of work.The first story that creeped me out a little.A great story all around!

Dialogue: 10/10 Great dialogue,well acted and music was a nice fit all the way through.The subs in the very beginning were a little fast ,but never a problem after that.

Editing:9/10 Again this should be a 10 ,but when the third guy told his began telling his story there was three men in the room.The one guy was supposed to be downstairs playing dead.Other than that excellent job.

Wow: 10/10 Woooooooowww!Amazing,creative,and excellent film making.This is one movie noone should miss on this site.Incredible!

48/50=5 stars

MOMC REVIEW
I liked this a lot. Even though I dont speak german, the VO's really helped set the mood for me here. It was a well shot and well edited production that is easy and fun to watch.
You're not sure where the plot is gonna go, and it makes you want to watch to find out.

Pretty damn good, nice understated effects not going for cheap gross out, good editing and VO, nice work.

Not the most original idea (although the twist that wasn't a twist was a fun take on it) but I'm a sucker for these kinds of stories. Great voice acting, pretty good recordings, good use of music, good editing. Nice job all around. The subtitles weren't always perfectly in common english vernacular but for the most part they were easy to understand anyway. I still can't figure what you meant by "potty" though at the moment Rick figures out what seems to be going on. I assumend nutty or twisted or somthing like that and went with it. Great job.

na endlich mal ein movie mit einer Story.Die meisten movies hier in 1-2 min. Länge sind meistens nur Schrott. Man kann keine Story in 2-3min. Länge erzählen.
Das movie wurde mit viel Arbeit und Detailliebe erarbeitet, daher verdient es auch 5 Sterne allein nur für die Arbeit, für die Story und Umsetzung nochmal 5 Sterne.
Wenn man die Votings für andere Kurzfilme vergleicht, wäre es nur angemessen - meiner Meinung. Aber ärgerlich ist auch, das es zu viele Schleimer hier gibt die sinnlos 5 Sterne vergeben für schlechte movies, nur um ihre eigenen movies gleicherma�?en sinnlose Sterne zu erschleimen.
Hier kann man wirklich mal sinnvoll 5 Sterne vergeben! Weiter so...

ich habe hier noch nie einen 12min so mit spannung verfolgt (noch nicht mal meine eigenen)wie diesen. Das ist wirklich einer der besten Filme hier. Bei Filmen wie diesen rächt es sich, das man zu vielen Filmen 5 Sterne gibt (da ich auch die Arbeit dahinter bewerte und bei manchen Mängeln ein auge zudrückt), denn jetzt fehlt mir der 6. Stern und ein 7. Stern. Ich glaube ich muss mein Bewertungssystem runterschrauben, den es tut mir wirklich leid das ich den Film nicht so bewerten kann, wie er im Vergleich zu den meisten Filmen ist, eine ganz andere Liga

Der Film ist der beste Horrorfilm, den ich hlaub je gesehen hab.
Die kleinen Horrorfilme dazwischen fand ich besonders cool, ich sie alle schoneinmal kannt nur wieder vergas.

Oh Mann das is doch mal ein horror-film! die einzige kritik die ich habe das das voice-over teilweise nich so gut ist, aber auf dem level in der dieser Film gedreht wurde ist das sowas von egal, neben test of courage einer der besten horrorfilme die ich bisher gesehen habe! echt gänsehaut-feeling und die simplen aber sehr guten spezial-effects kamen verdammt noch geil rüber! und vorallem wirkt das ganze nicht geklaut sondern wirklich independent mann! auch wenn ich die hilfe-schreie am ende nich so mocht - darauf achtet man bei der story überhaupt nicht und die atmosphäre störte sondern dadurch wirkte das ganze so verdammt beklemmend und... ach das reicht langsam mit dem geschwafel! 5 sterne für nen top movie!

Meine Fresse du hast etwas geschaffen was mir auf jeden Fall Gänsehaut am Ende geracht hat. Unglaublich die Sound Effekte und die jeweiligen Synchros. Manno man. Wenn ich solche Filme sehe dann kann ich Eigentlich einpacken. Du hast mich ehrlich Faziniert und werde dein Film Downloaden. Dir ist klar das du ei Meisterwerk geschaffen hast oder??? vorallem das mit dem Toten Hund und die Tote Frau die du dargestellt hast. Ich habe mir immer gesagt das Movies nur ein Spiel ist und das die Filmemacher die Filme ins Netz stellen sicher nur Langweilig sind oder das es halt keine Spannung gibt wie in den echten Filmen doch du hast wie viele andere Filemacher mir den Bewei�? gezeigt das es nicht so ist. Es gab noch kein Film bei dem ich mehr Angst hatte als bei deinem. Die Synchros waren von den drei Freunden Unglaublich jedoch fand ich es bei der Frau nicht so Intensiv gemacht wie bei euch trotzdem habt ihr 4 Sprecher 5 Sterne verdient.
Die Geschichte vorher habe ich nie in irgend einem Film gesehen weil ich Anfangs dachte sie sei geklaut ok du hast eine Internetseite angegeben in der man solche Sagen sich holen kann aber wenn bedenkt wie du es in The Movies umgesetzt hast dann ist es das einzigste was Zählt.

That was great; the story was wonderfully executed with excellent writing and VO acting (sometimes screams were distorted, but that's ok), with appropriate humorous effects to break the tension. I agree this is one of the best horror films online and you're in the running for Cow Bear Film's next awards. A few minor editing problems (the licking dog scene could have had the last part edited down somewhat) do not detract from the five-star quality. Deserves to be a hot pick.

Der absolute Hammer.

Die VO sind genial.
Die Charaktere optimal ausgesucht.
Die Story einfach nur wahnsinn.
Und die Musik und auch die Cuts passten.

Kurz gesagt 5 Sterne.
Trotz seiner Länge von 12 Minuten wurde der Film nicht langweilig.

Einer der besten Filme die ich hier online gesehen habe, obwohl ich zugeben mu�? da�? die Story leicht Richtung Scream und Düstere Legenden ging.

WOW. Keine Frage, einer der besten Filme die ich hier gesehen habe. Geile Story, einfach gute Idee (mit dem leckenden Hund) und diese Puppengesichter. Mag auch die Länge des Films, weil man einfach gute Geschichten mit Spannungsaufbau selten in 4 Minuten oder so packen kann. In solchen Fällen muss einfach ein Film schon seine 10 Minuten sein. Wirklich sehr gut gemachte Arbeit, mach weiter so! VO war auch geil, sehr motiviert und professionell!

Allererste Sahne! Ich bin ja sonst im realen Leben kein Freund solcher Filme, hysterische Jugend und so, aber dein Film schlägt auf jeden Fall all die Hollywood-Streifen dieser Art um Längen, so da�? dein eigener Hinweis auf "Düstere Legenden" (den ich selbst als einen der wenigen auch mal sah) eigentlich Blödsinn ist.
Hast du die ganzen Einlagen mit Backdrops gemacht? Super Geschichte, tolle Bilder, perfekte Schnitte, und gro�?artige Sprecher! Schade, da�? du für das Mädchen anfangs nicht eine Jaqueline S. wie FraasMovies auftreiben konntest. Aber dann hätte man ja noch 'nen 6.Stern mit der Hand dazumalen müssen.
Unfair ist wieder, da�? man nur 1 Stimme beim Hot-Pick von TheMoviesVision hat.
Auf jeden Fall werde ich ihn mir gleich mal runterladen.

Die Synchronisation ist beinahe perfekt. Manchmal etwas genuschelt (Zahnspange?) sonst gut, bis auf die Frau ;) Die Story ist klasse. Bin sehr begeistert. Einer der wenigen Filme die ich bookmarke!

Echt der beste Horrorfilm den ich hier bisher gesehen habe!!!!! Besonders beeindruckend finde ich, wie du innerhalb kurzer Zeit mit deiner Story fesseln kannst, spätestens nach einer Minute ist man in der Geschichte drin und kommt nur schwer wieder raus. Ein richtig guter moderner Horrorfilm der an einigen Stellen wirklich unheimlich ist und auch der Schnitt ist extrem gut! ECHT SUPER!!!!

Wow, echt lange und nur in der zweiten Geschichte leichte Längen. Aber das liegt an den Wiederholungen, die durch das Spiel fast nicht anders gehen.
Der Spannungsbogen ist Dir echt gelungen! Definitiv das beste echte Horrormovie (im klassischen Sinn) das ich hier gesehen habe ("echt", weil die Einteilungen ja erzwungen werden und Mischklassen nicht gehen).
Die backdrops waren super!

Ich kannte die Geschichte mit dem leckenden Hund zwar schon, aber das haben diese Geschichten ja an sich. Gr0�?artige Kombination der Geschichten!

Das war wirklich gruselig! Spitze geschnitten und bearbeitet, sehr gut erzählte Geschichte und die VO's sind gut bis sehr gut! Voller Sternenhimmel für diesen Film :)

mal ein film der keine splatteraction braucht um gruselig zu sein..den vom leckendem hund gibts auch als witz mit ner blinden frau...um die 9. minute gibts noch einen kurzen schnittfehler aber aber nicht mal ne sekunde..tolle storywendung..wegen dir werd ich heut nciht schlafen,dabei habe ich morgen eine wahnsinnig wichtige prüfung...gehört jedenfalls auf den ersten platz..war sicher wahnsinnsaufwand und wie immer bei dir die genialen voices..
schau dir doch bitte auch meinen allerneusten film an,natürlich jämmerlich gegen dieses meisterwerk...

Wow! Einfach nur gro�?artig. Die Synchro, die Schnitte, das Drehbuch, die Musik. Wirklich der Beste Film, den ich bisher hier zu sehen bekommen habe.

Hmm ... weiss nicht, ob es meine nikotinbedingt verstopften Blutgefaesse waren oder euer Film. Stand jedenfalls kurz vorm Herzinfarkt.
Als Kroenung haett bloss noch gefehlt, dass die 2 anderen Jungs vom Bus ueberrollt worden waeren, (wie beim Film "Letze Haltestelle 1") beim Hinterherrufen auf der Strasse, dann waer ich jetzt hin.

One question if it doesn't bother you:
When you download a file like in the Mod Warehouse,I've downloaded the file called "Unlock everything" and then I put it in the movies folder,but when I play it it doesn't unlock anything!And that's the same thing for downloading costumes!
Please Help,give me a feedback in rating one my movies!

That was pretty darn good!

I hope you get a lot of VC for this one (as well as a decent rating) because you deserve it. Fine voice acting, good editing, and a storyline that almost went a predictable route but tied itself in with the beginning pretty well. Definately one of the better horror movies I've seen around here. Good work, sir :)
