Film Description
A movie that "Clears up a lot of questions from your youth" to quote one reviewer. Prophecy of the Chickens is about errr...chickens, and how Colonel Sanders may have come to power.

A first movie from VelvetFog

Colonel Sanders truly is an evil overseer isn't he. The colonels beard and costume was utterly surreal.

That was funny, especially the ending!
All the unexpected twists and turns also made it good!
Well done!

"We had a deal based on trust!" and "Where is the nearest toilet?" busted me up laughing! But the female Nazi Col. Sanders getting info on a sex change and the 11 herbs and spices clears up a lot of questions I have had since my youth. Great film! One thing though... slow down the larger text fields. Some went by pretty fast so i watched it twice.

Very funny movie by the time the ending rolls around. Slow down the subtitles by widening them though or simply use VO like you did in your other movie. Basically, watch the movie yourself a few times with the subtitles in place and try to judge if you gave them enough time. Generally, 2 lines per display max (you went up to three at times) and 3-4 seconds per line (double-triple the default width). The rest of the technical details of the movie were great once you sat through it in its entirety and saw the ending.

The subtitles are too fast sometimes, making difficult to read them.

Nicely done. I particularly liked the bit with the chickens in it. Reminded me of chickens.
Only negative is the speedy subtitles.

Good movie and humor :) I had a hard time reading all of the subtitles though, as they went by a little too fast for me. A good job overall though!

Real funny and with a good sense of humor. Some jokes are really good. Well edited, but as everybody says... subtitles too fast!

Very good, but I agree the subtitles went too fast.

Subtitles went by too fast to enjoy this one. The punchlines were wasted due to this subtitle speed.

Jorge: I didn't like it. Even for a first movie.

You know, you've been a lot more critical since I let you make one. A bad one at that.

Jorge: It's better than this chicken s#!t.

Good film, good script, but subtitles too fast. For a first movie it was good. From one old git to another, I find drawing on personal experience brings out the best in a film. Then again maybe chickens from space is part of your past. This is a 4 star movie, but I dropped you a star for the subtitles. Well done anyway.

"I know they are coming..." "How sir?" "I can feel it in my feathers..." :) Wow, I never knew Colonel Sanders used to be a woman...! That movie cracked me up! You sort of remind me of me...bless. Sorry. Back to the movie, you have a great comic mind, I just want to get up there and walk around, but I'd probably be attacked the overpowering voices and farmyard animals. Sorry. Back to the movie, it was supercalifradgilisticexpealidocious! (good) Keep on making movies, pal!

Subtitles went way too fast for slow readers like me :( I had to pause the movie many times. There were some funny moments and it's very entertaining actually, despite the subtitles.

Pretty funny. I give my standard advice though: Take out the mumbling from your subtitled films. It's ruining the atmosphere. A small problem: Subtitles have been too fast in one or two places.

It was fun. The subtitles are too quick to follow sometimes.

Not many people realise this but that's ACTUALLY how it all happened. For real. Chicken films have to be really silly to pull it off and you gotta be in the right frame of mind for them. I'm certainly in a chicken mood but - believe this or not - I've seen sillier. Plus some of the subbies were a little fast.
Was gonna be a three but scrapes a four due to the line 'I can feel it in my feathers'. You write lines like that on instinct alone. It can't be taught. It's a gift.
4 stars - but it just gets there.

Good Story, great characters. I think with Voiceover the movie would have been much greater. But it doesn't need Voiceover, the movie is good enough for 5 Stars.

Wow! Now thats a mighty story and a half. What do you have in your mind up there? must be a creative little bean trying to escape the brain. Great use of characters . Watching it again now :D
