For a first movie this is a definite 4 star.

VO/Sub 1/5 - There were no VOs, but there were subtitles, and usually they were readable.
Music 2/5 - The sound track sort of faded off at some point.
Sound effects 1/5 - It's unfortunate, with sound effects this would have been a 5 star movie. However, instead, I heard snoring in the background while Drake and the other guy. And, I heard mumbling in the background, which is just dumb =P

Plot 4/5 - It was really good. It would have been 5, but the ending was just a drop off.
Script 5/5 - The characters were well constructed and cool.

Costuming is a definite bonus to this movie. Normally I'd give it 3 stars, but since it's a first movie, I'm giving it 4. (Even though you've made others since this one)

For your first movie on tmo I must say a very good effort, my first movie was really bad compared to this, which of course i'm saying this as a compliment as your first movie is really good!! Very good use of subtitles, some were a bit too fast like u said, but I got into this movie and I enjoyed it! there might of been a few flaws here and there, but I enjoyed the movie, a good plot!! nice work!!!

As you know by now the subtitles passed by too fast. But it was not that hard to follow the story anyway, and I did enjoy the actual story. But what about that snoring sound in the subway? It din't make any sense, especially since there was no fighting sounds :D

Good first upload! Its odvious a lot of time and energy went into this film. I might have given you 3 stars for the subtitle issue, but you warned about it in your description, which is good, i too made the same mistake in my first couple movies. Two main things hurt this movie: Some of the sound effects seemed a bit too random, and misplaced, and the lack of soundtrack toward the end of the movie hurt it a bit. For a first upload this was DEFINETLY a great film! Practice will reveal that you have an awesome talent for TMO! I look forward to seeing more of your films in the future. ROCK ON!!!!

I really don't like subtitles and I think you should work on maybe thhrowing in some VOs. For me it wasn't so much that they were fast its just they're boring. Anyway that might make this 3 a four. Nice job though.

Quite a fast paced action movie which I found interesting. You were right about the subtitles they were a bit too fast, I managed to read most of them though. Excellent attempt at a first movie. Keep up the good work!

The first part of this movie is great.. But shen the movie gets a bit boring, I even heard myself snoring. no wait that was the .. music?? The action scenes had no sound.. A pity since you started the movie so good... Was that a blizzard in the bar at the end of this movie? It sure sounded so... The subs are a bit to fast slow them down in your next movie.
I give you 3 stars since I think you can do better then that!

The subs were faster than a speeding bullet. There wss no music in the later parts of the movie.

movie was ok, but afew mistakes, the subs were faster then superman himself, and in the trian scene it sounded like someone was sleeping (zzzzz), but you had some good scenes, but its ok for a first movie.

The subs were way too fast in places, and were full of mistakes. Often I had no idea what was meant to be happening, it often felt completely random. Didn't grab my attention, had to make myself concentrate on what was happening (this is mainly personal taste, however, so don't worry about it too much). The music stopped halfway through, which is a common mistake. And you should put a warning about how far off the sound effects are, I know it's a common problem, but I was sitting here for several minutes wondering why all I could hear was snoring, when what was happening on screen had nothing to do with snoring. I won't deduct points for the sound problems- as I said, they're common, and as far as I know, unavoidable...

A gangster is set up by his friend, then breaks out of jail to set things right.

The subs were significantly too fast. Watch the capitalization on the subs, and appropriate punctuation. After the first song finished the lack of music killed the atmosphere a bit. Also the lack of sound effects detracted from the atmosphere. The major scene transitions may have benefitted from transitional shots (e.g. pans across a nice backdrop). The plot seemed fairly standard.

Overall, I thought this movie was a fairly standard action plot. All the best for the future.

Catching up with this trilogy all in one batch right now. This is a really solid start for the most part. Major recommendations would be to polish up the dialogue a bit and kill the mumbles. I noticed some miscellaneous sound effects that didn't seem to go with the action, though a few seemed like game glitches. This is defintely a setup story, but there's still a decent amount of action going on. And the plot seems to be fairly complex. Good work.

The subs need major work, but don't feel bad, I had the same problems with one of my flims to. The overall story was good, but the edit needs a more grittier, city feel to it. The music felt like it didn't fit with vibe of the movie either. This was a good movie, but there's alot room for improvement.

3 and a half stars but we'll round up. I feel like a record sometimes. Subtitles too fast, need voice overs, no background music in most of the movie (a must to set the mood). This is a new one for me, the ambiant noise is messed up. Probably happened during your upload. Kinda funny to here snoring during the subway fight scene though.

Well i can read VERY fast, but for others the titles do need to be slower. Also some of the scenes need to be edited down a little. Please turn off the mumbling sims. I think also there needs to be some sort of music in some of the later parts. But it is a good story and not many people are doing this genre.

Great story. Maybe have the subtitles stay up a little longer and add some sound effects? For example the phone ringing toward the end. You could have found a sound effect of a phone ringing and stuck it in there. :) Great work otherwise.

The story and the scenes are good. The characters costumes are also good. I needed a speed reading class first to read the subtitles. And maybe it's me, but I thought during a talking scene I heard snoring!

It was good that you didn't make to much subtitles, some people make subtitles on positions where no person really would talk e.g. when the guy broke out of the jail. But the whole other movie didn't get me really.

An average movie overall. The subtitles were too fast to read, therefore making the storyline uncomprehensible. Also the music cut off half-way and sounded like there was snoring the middle of the movie. Sound effects during fights were non-existant.

If you are going to have the subtitles moving that fast, I would strongly recomend VO's for your next movies. Even a cheap mic and a few friends for multiple VO's will do. Keep plugging at it!

I agree with both of the other reviews that I have seen.

The subtitles are too short in duration and the sound is not good. I struggled to explain the snoring sounds in one part. :)

This is not quite a 4 star movie. I wish I could give 3.5 but 4 will have to do.
