Like all the others I have to say that the voiceovers were bad. But besides that, I really enjoyed the movie!

Excellent, but it would have been better if you had subtitles to accompany the voiceovers (in case the viewer can't quite tell what is being said) and if you managed the volume of the voice a little better. When the letter is first being read I can barely hear it at all. The combat could have used a little work, but it was still very good. This is almost a 5.

I see two movies here. The first is about the mother and her grief, the second is a war movie. I think if you had cut either section down and spent a little more time on the other, this would have been a stronger film. For instance, if you had chosen to focus on the grief, you could have cut the war section way down, kept the beginning, and then added a little something more at the end -- perhaps something about how his spirit returning home brought some sense of peace to her life. I don't know for sure. Like the others, the VOs were a little hard to hear over the middle music section (which seemed to start a bit too early). A great idea that could be really strong with a little more work. Have fun making movies.

Here is how I see it.
The bad: Over used the mother crying.
The good: No need for subtitles...Due to good use if voice acting!
Excellent story and form.
Imaginative touches through out the movie, a big plus.
Very good orgaized battle sense, better that most movies I've seen.
Quite a bit of work went into making this movie. Your talents made those efforts well spent. You produced a five star movie here. Loved it.

Very, very good - but the dialog levels need work, as others have said.
