Pathetic. So unrealistic. The writing dull and cliche. I thought this guy was a P.I. not a hitman. I don't think a detective can just go around killing everyone and force women to do "stuff" against there will. There was no protagonist in this. I couldn't find but hate this P.I. Especially the ending.
P.S. Well of course it hurt, he was shot!

All I can say is that this movie did exactly what it set out to do. It started with a simple job that turned into betrayal and revenge. It made you feel as if you were watching a classic. Good job.

No voice acting. I'm a little hard on movies without it. However some movies find a way to shine even without voices. This is one of those movies. Really good work here. The movie is fun to watch and will even provide a giggle here and there. Right on the edge of 5 stars for me.

Nothing beats good-ol' fashioned P.I. stuff. And huzzah for the angles and camera direction throughout. Saw a few new scenes in there I don't normally see in other movies, so that's always a plus.

Good story, excellent dialogue, pretty good continuity which is tough to achieve with this game. The music was also top notch - I know it isn't easy to match up since it's all trial and error.

Overall, this is the best movie I've seen since the game came out - far better than anything else.

Great! I loved the dialogue, you really got into the 30-40's lingo. It'd be great to hear the voice-overs but at the same time it's hard to impersonate "Bogie" and get that true feeling. Well, Bogart is the voice I hear when I read the subs;). Classic film-noir angles all the way, perhaps even better in b-w but then again I don't have the game & thereby should shut the **** up. Makes me wanna try the P.I. approach myself (once i get TM).

(French) Un film intéressant se démarquant des autres par une atmosphère particulière et une histoire qui a le mérite d'exister. Seulement quatre étoiles parce que l'intrigue reste tout de même trop simpliste. Mais sympathique tout de même.

(English) An interesting movie dissociating others by a particular atmosphere and a story which has the merit to exist. Only four stars because the intrigue is too simplistic all the same. Sympathic, I wait an hypothetic second chapter.
