Ok. For me that did not make any sense what-so-ever. Is the title supposed to mean something with what's going on in this short, silly movie? I don't know, either way I still don't get it. Terrible. Boring, silly and a waste of time. Even though it's 59 secs long only, i'll still give you 2 stars for the effort. That's the only positive i can say. Apart from that, very very bad movie.

I have to be honest with you, but unfortunately, the movie was not as good as I hoped. The movie had absolutely no plot. There was no conflict, no dialogue, nothing. You could have done a much better job in this movie by adding a conflict or a situation, adding a dialogue, and making it a little longer. Better luck on your next movie, though.

I love it! What a great pice of experimental, existentialist cinema. The juxtaposition of the modern "jive" dancing with the Old West setting highlights the truth of the relativism of human existence.

Then to top it off, when the film abruptly ends when Sally rides into town, reflects the futility of resistance.

Pure genius.

Uhhhh, yeah. I see someone was either letting the computer do it or just experimenting. I dunno which one to hope for. In any case, the music seemed too odd for the setting (1980s Western, huh?) and there was no plot to speak of. Take my word for it: This is a classic that will be held in high regard with other Ed Wood titles such as "Plan 9 from Outer Space". The acting, the plot and the music are all the opposite of brilliant, and the non-twist ending had me in the opposite of stiches.

As others have said, there is not much in the way of story, but what bothered me more was the choice of music you had playing in a western. It sounded more 80s-ish than cowboy, you may also want to have the music die down so it isn't playing over the piano music.

Ok, I'll really try not to be quite so harsh but if you are going to put something up online for others to review you really need to give us a bit more. Granted none of the others really have much of a plot and or character development yet but they at least show an effort at learning the ropes and being creative. Nothing to it at all sadly. Thats all that can really be said, it was to short and had to little substance. All it was was showing a cowgirl at a bar and riding up on a horse, and that is it, nothing else.

This has the base of a great character introduction, as something to have as an intro for a character. However, the fact there is no dialog at all just makes it nothing worth watching. Not to mention how out of place the music is.

Then again, maybe it was ment to be silly and stupid, and those kinds of movies can most certainly be funny. This however, sadly was not funny to me at least. It just simply feels very slipshod.

And thats all that can really be said I'm afraid. I hope you can pull together more entertaining movies in the future, because this isn't a very good start.

Wow! Is all I can get off of my tongue after that memorable experience. What a great movie, what it lacks in length it gains in content. Surely this will be the movie that is on everyone's mind during this fall season.

The movie starts off in a Western Saloon where we meet an interesting arrangement of characters. A suspicious woman getting a drink at the bar, and three dancers dancing to a catchy tuned which is played by the blonde. The camera angles are quite revolutionary and keep the film interesting.

The character interaction lacks nothing. This is where the director gives us the most to create in our mind. It is as if the director is painting half of a masterpiece, leaving each one of us to complete it in our minds. There are several scenes where you can really think about and wonder what sort of happenings are going on in these character's lives. In example, the blonde who is playing the piano, she takes a short glance at the dancers, and then proceeds to finish her tune. What could she have been thinking here? Maybe she was thinking about her sick son, or maybe she was thinking about where her lover is. Or perhaps the gentleman dancing is infact her husband and the other blonde and her and all caught up in an entangled love triangle! The possibilities are endless!

The final scene shows the suspicious woman in the bar riding off with three horses, two of which are left riderless. One could suspect this woman is indeed sally. And perhaps she has stolen the three dancer's horses and now travels off into the dust with her new found property.

All around, this movie is an instant success. It shows originality, thought provoking elements of shakespherian proportions, and finally great camera angles that make an allready breath-taking plot just that much more dynamic! I can say with utmost assurance that I will be long looking forward to the sequal to this movie!

Here's a tip, don't put purple writing on a green background. If you meant it about religion and what Pulp Celluloid said then prompts go to you, but you have to understand that movies of this nature so early on in particular won't score well as they aren't that interesting, nor what the game is about. But I doubt you did mean the religion symbolisim and you most likely shouldn't have posted this up as it looks like only a test.

Nothing even resembling a story, plot, characters... I can't even give it points for trying to do something unusual or different.

Hmmmm... okay. Movies are stories told with pictures. You have the pictures, so you need to work on the story now. Remember the fundamental rule: CONFLICT. Conflict is what makes stories interesting.

I'm at a loss for word.
Since my copy is still in the rough care of whoever is driving the 2 cylinder semi that hauls the box from where it was "Released in the US" to the store that will give it to me on the "Street Date" I can only assume that this was completely done with ingame writers, directors and editors.

Cheers on the bravery to upload a first effort, though. 1 star.

This was a truely pointless experiment. You really should have left this on the hard drive somewhere rather than posting this on the internet for people to tear you apart. More of a trailer then a movie but think people missed the part were it said made in 1982. In the eighties films were largly forgetable filled with poor music and made no sense. So think it fits in with the period just well. Dont give up trying and cant wait to see the films from these 1 star givers :)

I assume this movie is about a woman who plays piano for people in exchange for horses. Im not sure. Theres no dialoge and it runs less than a minute, feels more like someone just wanted to test the game and the upload process. Only watch if you really want to see a movies movie but only have a minute to spare.

Obviously a frist attempt and a rough draft, still can't give it high marks as it would be unfair to those who put hours upon hours perfecting their work. Unless your film is supposed to be campy, the 80's music in the western setting does not fit, plus you lose the piano effect when the score is imposed over it. Needs a plot to give it direction.

Not trying to be mean here, but there has to be plot in a film, a good story :-) Why was sally playing piano in a bar? Was she stealing those horses? Or was that part of her job? There are many questions for this film, but little answers to them. But, I'll give you an A for effort :-) And 2 stars.

I wouldn't call this an action film as much as I would call the plot of this 'EXISTANT'! :D It seems to me to be erm... unfinished? Or in the very least, surreal?... dunno. Seemed to lack any point/sense/plot/conclusion/character... At least use some text to tell us what is going on!

Ride Sally Ride! This movie is an instant classic! "Saddle Up Sally" is full of symbolism that reflects the dispair of daily life.

As the girl plays the piano we see three people in Western attire dance around. Their western attire symbolizes that they are from a Western religion and culture. Of course, these people represent the holy trinity. The piano player is symbolic of organized religion that makes these spiritual beings move but never has any real contact with them.

Then we see the female solider ride into town with two riderless horses. Obviously, this is symbolic of all the wars that have been fought over religion. The two riderless horses are a clear symbol of all those who never made it home.

"Saddle Up Sally" is a powerful piece of movie-making. I was so moved I wept like a schoolgirl. This is one powerful movie that you can't afford to miss!

I watched this movie 4 times so far to see if I could give the movie any credit. Sadly I could not find anything in that movie to do that. The music and the whole movie did not make any sense.

I think its funny first off that people think they are expereinced critic. First off expereinced is spelled experienced. Sorry I have to point spelling mistakes out. If you are going to write a review anywhere it is common courtesy for you to do a spell check beforehand. Second, please don't judge these movies as if they were the real thing, because they aren't. These are just people trying to have some fun. Third this movie just wasn't very good so I have to agree with you on that. The music and the movie making no sense didn't help either.
